Best cafe. Staff are really friendly and nice. Cakes and pies are very yummy. They have the best custard donuts, pizzas and pies . I could eat the whole shop. Yummy
I ordered a full-sized New York cheesecake last week for the weekend with only a couple of days' notice, and the entire ordering experience was smooth and with no fuss.
Of course, then we got to eat the cake. I was blown away by how delicious it was - so smooth and creamy - and at such a good price.

Hidden gem in Dulwich Hill. Their almond croissant is my weekend guilty pleasure-- absolutely divine!
Their made to order cakes are very special, ingredients are high quality and fresh. I have ordered their New York Cheesecake and Carrot Cake so far and both have been exquisite. The cream used is light and of perfect consistency-- not those heavy creams used that only taste like butter!
I ordered a taro cake for a birthday and it was an absolute hit - not too sweet, perfectly moist and beautifully decorated. Even the picky eaters demolished their slice and asked for seconds.
My usual favourites here are the pies, the cake of the week, the custard tart and anything mango flavoured, but I can guarantee you that the list of favourites grows every time I revisit and try something new. Taro cake will definitely be reappearing in my future orders.

Friday treat: local bakery Strawberry Fields Patisserie does cracking tarts. It’s both within my Inner West Council LGA and less than 10km from my home so no Australian Defense Force chasing me. The lime tart is filled with a sharp but creamy lime curd, while the custard tart is all about oozing, creamy, nutmeg-sprinkled custard in a firm tart shell. It’s a small, family-run bakery that is being doubly impacted by the lockdown and badly-timed construction with ugly fencing over their front door. Worthy of your support!

Best blueberry mouse cheesecake. White chocolate mango. Taro sponge. Gourmet pies and pate chouds! Best prices. Best everything.

With the lockdown and restriction it’s really hard to make a birthday celebration special but I am glad that we have strawberry fields in our LGA! Ordered a birthday cake from them and it was GLORIOUS! The mango fresh cream was so so so delicious and the sponge was fluffy and moist. THANK YOU STRAWBERRY FIELDS PATISSERIE!!!
