Ordered a pesto chicken sandwich and mocha during lunch time and both were good. Came out quickly too.

Busy with people getting coffee to go or just sitting down and enjoying a break. The coffee was good quality, but with a name like ‘Kafeine’ you would expect anything less. However the real surprise was the selection of food which was every bit as good as the coffee. Burgers, breakfast etc it is worth the stop.
cosy place to go for a Friday lunch when both my colleague and I decided to skip gym. We were craving for some meaty and not-so-healthy food but with smaller portion. So we found this place just on York street. I had chicken katsu burger, satisfied.
Also in love with the design on the takeaway cups.
Good food, good coffee, good staff and good prices- came here every morning for breakfast when I was staying nearby and if I lived in the area I'm sure I'd be a regular. Whether you're on the run or have time to sit down to a longer meal, Kafeine hits the spot.
Dropped in today for lunch and had the Chicken Parmy with salad and my friend had pulled pork. Delicious and well-portioned food at a great price.

Went here for a late lunch one day, as every other time I've attempted to go, it's been really busy. I read the pork burger on the menu and knew I had to have it. The pork was soft and juicy and after my first bite, my love of pulled pork was rekindled. They do a fab coffee too.
Until now I've only stopped by Kafeine for takeaway coffee, I decided to stop in for lunch today. You can always count on Kafeine on making a great coffee. My order always a soy piccolo. For lunch I had the Angry Club - the sourdough was very fresh with a good serving of items inside. Great quick lunch with a good atmosphere. Only fault is on a hot day, it's very hot inside - air conditioner instead of fans would be nice.
It's so wonderful when your local work cafe produces incredible coffee, phenomenal service and seriously delicious sandwiches as well. Kafeine is my daily go-to coffee spot, the staff are always friendly, the coffee is without a doubt the best along York street and is given to you in a pretty cup. I'm a big avocado on toast fan and theirs does not disappoint along with their extensive range of sandwiches.
Kafeine is definitely worth stopping by and if you work in the area, I expect it will quickly become your local too!
I come here every morning for coffees and often treat myself to their breakfast specials. The coffee is always primo and their smashed avo is generously-sized and full of flavour. Love their fit out too - it's cool without trying too hard.

The coffee is great, the takeaway cups are the best I've seen, and the bacon and egg roll is absolutely delicious - I know people say you can't go wrong with it, but my experience is that you definitely can. The one hear is on point! Quick, and super friendly service, and reasonable prices.
I'm a regular at Kafeine for my daily coffee hit and it never disappoints! Good coffee, cool cups and friendly staff. I ordered the Avo Smash with a boiled egg for takeaway today, which was delicious and great value for money. Would love to eat in!
Got a takeaway protein ball and a bottle of kombucha and they are both so good! The kombucha especially is thenyummiest kombucha I've had. Strawberry gum kombucha with a hint of Beetroot. The service is also great here.
Good coffee and fast service. That's exactly what I need for the morning. The $6 combo of coffee and banana bread is a good value for money.
Have walked past this little cafe many times and been meaning to pop in. In the center of the city it feels like a little bit of Surry hills.
A good quick eats menu and nice decor.
I opted for the Swiss and ham croissant, which could have been left in the oven 30seconds longer to get the cheese good and toasty, but other than that it was very tasty.
Skim cappuccino was good, not the best coffee I've ever had but I will definitely be back with the new office move.
Grabbed a quick breakfast from Kaffeine and it was great. Smashed Avo on toast with feta, mint, tomato and a boiled egg. Only negative is that there could've been some more feta. They also have almond milk which is an added bonus for those of us that can't drink regular milk. The coffee cups are super cute.
Nice sandwiches and a good vibe - the staff are always friendly and ready to give you a hand ! Appreciate the smoothies and the ginger juice really has a kick !
I was keen to try Kafeine as I am something of a fan of their Balmain cafe The look and feel were similar, but I thought the counter food let them down a little. Their brand in Balmain is very clearly healthy, interesting food, but the counter food didn't say that - it looked pretty ordinary until you looked closely and saw that they were in fact Luxe muffins, gluten free goodies etc. They might need to think about tweaking their display. I only had time for a coffee today, which was good but not great. They haven't been open that long so I'd be interested to see how they're traveling in a couple of months or so.
The inner west goes forth and hits the lunch time sweet spot city side. Full tables inside and the pick up crowd on the pavement. Peri peri chicken sandwich as my opener was generous in size and tasty. Plenty of chicken albeit I would have liked a little more kick, it was demolished in short order. Further exploration shall ensue.

This new precinct that was once stood Loaf & Devotion has been bought recently by the owner of Kafeine in Balmain. Everything you love about the old place are still here. The clean and modern decor, the friendly staff, the Campos coffee they serve, and the coffee quote sign. And most importantly the beloved menu stays.
Let me set the scene. I woke up this morning craving pulled pork burger. I might've had one too many wines last night to have caused this craving. Anyway, so I remember the best place to have one near where I work. Counting down to lunchtime was painful, but finally the time comes, and with determination I rushed to get my fix and to my surprise the sign and the name of the place changed. Not to be deterred, I ventured in and was relieved to find the same menu still standing there tall and proud.
Of course I had the Burgerzilla. Set in a brioche bun, it's full of pulled pork, beef, bacon, cheese and onion goodness! It's tasty, tender, melt in your mouth delicious. Definitely made my day!
Interesting and exciting sandwich range. Perfect option for a quick lunch with work buddies. Friendly and attentive staff. Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere

Had the Halloumi Stack here and it was a great little start to the day! Filling but not over the top and all the simple flavours all blended in well together. Great coffee as well.
Nice and friendly place. I got the pesto chicken sandwich which was very yummy. The different textures were interesting and the many ingredients didn’t seem overwhelming but rather it complements each other pretty well. Also got the star (avo + tom) to go. Overall pleasant experience and affordable prices :-)
Pulled pork burger was fantastic. Ice chocolates were "best I've ever had", accordingly to my partner. Staff friendly. Top marks.

Great atmosphere, very open. The coffee was pretty good albeit not mixed fully. Will definitely be heading here on breaks if I’m near the Wynyard Station!
Kafeine served up one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The Haloumi was delicious, fresh, and packed with flavor. I even came back the next day because it was so good. They are obviously very popular because they were non-stop busy each time I was there. This place is worth the stop if you're nearby or visiting Sydney.
