Great little sushi place in Surry Hills. It’s cheap, has good little deals like salad, miso and sushi for $15 or all you can eat for $30. Sashimi was super fresh. Staff were lovely. It’s a little slow if you order but other than that a good option.
Been here a couple of days ago, great food and service. Had teriyaki chicken, it was best i had in a while. Near to my work place. Seems like i got a new favourite place.
After trying the Japanese food in almost all of the Japanese restaurant in surryhill , I found the hidden gem. Very underrated. I tried their grilled salmon with yuju miso , it's unbelievable.Very competitive price:-)
What a lovely place to be . Great selection of sushi and sashimi for a reasonable price. Their lamb cutlet was divine Service was fantastic .Will be back soon .
I have been waiting for fresh sushi in this area forever and I was not in the least disappointed!!!
From the entrees to rolls to bento boxes... everything is made fresh when you order it.
Along with the bonus $3 special on Tuesdays for almost everything except the boxes, it's well worth a try :)
Thank you for the friendly greetings and happy service. I'm sure to be a regular.
This is my new favourite sushi place - it's hard to find a good sushi restaurant with a decent selection of vegetarian options, and bonus, it's ridiculously cheap! We go here at least once a week
An incredible place ,had some really interesting tastes on vegetarian food. The food is amazing with a reasonable price and love the variety of their Menu.Great location, atmosphere with excellent service.Lamb cutlet with yuzu miso was divine.
great food great service well done team
fully enjoyed one of the best Japanese restaurant in syd
handy location and affordable price
Nice and cozy place for dinner with family . friendly staff and the food is deliciously yummy .Specially wagyu with amayaki sauce on a bed of mexican avocado is very good.
Great little restaurant to kick back and have a Sapporo while knocking back mouthful after mouthful of beautifully made, freshly prepared sashimi and sushi morsels. Do yourself a favour and order a scallop roll and you wont be disappointed. I will be surely calling this my go to Japanese restaurant from now and will be returning frequently to sample all the rest of their tasty fare. Extremely well priced for the quality of food *****
Great value for money! I went for the all you can eat option for $39 (includes soft drink and dessert). I highly recommend to order the special sushis: Dragon, Volcano and scallop sushis were my favourites. The sashimi was fresh and tasty. The waitress was friendly and the creme brulee was better than expected!
I can totally understand the mix reviews of this place but I had a great experience here.
Probably best to not come in a group that has more than 4 people otherwise you will be sitting around the sushi train and it does feel a bit cramped because the place is small.
Sushi was really great! Heaps of variety to sushi and sides choose from.
Was happy with customer service as they provided an ice bucket for my wine as they do BYO and other things.
And just a tip to try ordering from the menu as the sushi is freshly made. The sushi that's on the train can be cold and not the best.
However, I feel like Tara deserves a good review for last night! Thanks.
It’s really hard to fault the value you get here getting the AYCE special. You can pick from the train or order directly off the menu. The sushi is fresh, the quality is good, there is an enormous variety of choices and some quite creative rolls I’ve never seen before. I WILL be going back. In fact this will be my regular sushi place when I’m feeling like I want to gorge a bit.
Very nice. With $30 we can have all you can eat sushi although only can have 1 plate sashimi per person.
But the miso eggplant is so salty . The rest are amazing.
