My overall experience was great! I ordered the “really hot” drumsticks with fries, the fries were a little too salty, but the spiciness of the fried chicken met my expectations. Staff were super friendly! I would definitely come back again when I’m craving southern fried chicken!
Closer to 3.5. chicken sandwich was delicious and juicy and lots of fresh lettuce. The chips were a bit of a let down, maybe too much seasoning and it made them feel a bit soggy? $20 for a sandwich and some chips is a bit much for me to want to come rushing back. The sandwich was delicious though!!!
First time to Tramshed and had Belle's hot chicken (again)
The staff were very friendly, and he made sure we are aware of how to order the food there, and made suggestions.
I ordered the 2nd spicy (something f***ING hot?? ) it's spicy enough for me (and I can eat super spicy food)
[invite] Bianca: Here at FFS we’ve worshipped Fried chicken for many a moon, with the little fast food joint KFC being a top favourite of Vanessa’s. I typically shy away from ‘working’ for my food so I’ve never been mad for anything with bones. I’m really all about that #nugglife. But when Belles opened their first Sydney outpost in Barangaroo back in 2015 I started to see fried chicken in a very very different light.
Fried chicken ninja!!!
If you like your fried chicken hot and crispy you need to hit up Belle's Hot chicken! Tasty, crispy and the sides are freaking good too .... Great for Friday 😏
We love the fried chicken here. Crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We normally get the tenders and we often find them being a bit dry, but not here. Add to that the spiciness and they've got a winner! We both love spicy food and consider ourselves to having a good spice tolerance. The Hot level is just right for us. Paired with the chips and some dipping sauces (we like the Mississippi Comeback) it just makes for a great meal with friends.
The service is friendly and efficient and is not worries if you rock up with 6 or 8 people.
Special tip if you like fusion cuisines, we like to take some of the hot chicken tenders home and have it with daal and rice - Try it! The best combo ever,
It’s meat week and I have always wanted to try the wings at this place so ordered this through Ubereats. Got 2 of the 4 wing packs; one extra f**king hot and one hot. We got the chips and Mac n cheese as the sides, mushroom (extra f**king hot) and peach bbq chicken ribs.
The food were was pretty good. Super greasy but everything actually worked well together (the pickles, piece of bread and chicken). It did get abit too much after a few wings (from the grease) but the pickles really helped with balancing it out a little. It would’ve been better if the chicken had been marinated and saucier than just having chilli powder on top of it. The f**king hot wings were actually pretty damn hot! But lacked the sticky tastiness which I got from the bbq peach chicken ribs. I didn’t really like the mushroom - this got too oily to really eat. Mac and cheese was pretty tasty too - nice and creamy and not too cheesy.
Overall, a pretty good chicken feed! The sides are pretty expensive for what you get though. Mac and cheese side for $7 only gets you a small container. But very tasty so probably worth the treat!
Had the Baller bucket split (medium, really hot and really hot) with mac n cheese, coleslaw and chips for the sides. Chicken was made really well - packed full of hot spice and flavor. Sides were a great addition to have with the wings and have to mention that the chips were so good.
Service was excellent and the waiter (Vincent) took good care of us.
Will come back for round 2 for sure and try the off-the-menu-level chilli to go with the wings.
This place is just good fun. A relaxed vibe with great lighting. Can't fault the food or service. There were three of us so we decided to get the baller bucket. It was more than enough food for three, but a couple of beers helped us to wash it down.
✦ Went for lunch at Tramsheds, a hip new area in Glebe near Harold Park✦ Very parent friendly area with accessible parking, pram access, multiple dining venues as well as a very modern parents room✦ We had Belles hot chicken (as well as Gelato Messina from outside after, hehe)✦ Service is quick and attentive✦ Chicken good but not great - could do with more spices✦ We also ordered the chicken and waffles ($20) not pictured below which is only available on weekends. The chicken wings in this was more succulent and the waffles delicious.✦ Worth going with a group and ordering a feast of chicken and sides

I'm not a massive chicken eater myself but I must admit that I really enjoyed Belle's! Great service and really nice food. I tried the chicken tenders medium with mac and cheese which was delicious. Would return again to try their chicken and waffles which looked amazing
The hype is real. This is good chicken. If you think this chicken is bad then you are probably the kind of person who likes barbecue sauce on pizza or puts more than 1 sugar in your coffee i.e. An idiot.
The wings are awesome. Had one hot, one really hot and they were exactly as described although 'good' and 'really good'. Either way, Belle (whoever she may be) doesn't have to worry about false advertising.
The sandwich was also everything a chicken sandwich should be. Big, Juicy, Spicy and Just the right amount of lettuce, cheese and sauce. The bun is also the only bun that any burger in Sydney ever needs to be in. Light, fluffy but held up to the juices without losing its integrity. Unlike me. In basically rolled out. Tongue tingly. Mouth still watering.
I've always wanted to go to Belles Hot Chicken considering how instagram-worthy the food is. Diner style eatery with your selection of wings, drumsticks, tenders, sliders, sandwiches and sides (crinkle cut chips, mac and cheese, yam salad, coleslaw etc). You can choose what heat you want for your chicken. The highest level is f*ckin hot but I was too "chicken" to pick it.
I ordered the wings with a side of fries. The dipping sauce I had was the cheese ranch and my wings' (four pieces) heat was Hot (middle ground level). My mouth was burning with joy!! Fried chicken heaven I tell ya. The cheese ranch provided a nice balance with the spicy flavouring of the chicken. The housemade lemonade I ordered was the best compliment to my overall meal.
The wings are not your average KFC sort of pieces - they are massive in size. I was so destroyed (in a good way) from the chicken that it was honestly love at first bite.
It felt like forever until our orders came out but it was worth the wait! The dude that served us was really helpful when it came to explaining the menu and was making his rounds with some wine to taste too.
The chicken is like a maze to eat and even though they provided cutlery, I used my hands anyway! They give you complimentary wet wipes but they aren't enough. Be prepared to get your hands dirty if you go to Belles.
Sizzling piping hot chicken for your chicky chicky fry fry lover. My body is ready to try the rest of their artery-clogging menu.
I must admit I was a little confused by their menu. For one, I had seen Burgers on their instagram account but couldn’t see them on the menu. I later found out that their “Sandwiches” are in fact burgers. I blame America for this confusion.
The other confusing thing was it’s one of those restaurants where you build your meal. You order the type of meat you want, the heat of the spice that you want, what sides, and what sauce you would like. The way their menu is set out I didn’t find this clear, but I am willing to accept the fact that it may just be my simple mind that finds it hard...
Having already experienced the delicious chicken from their Barangaroo outlet and had a hankering for deep fried chicken, an order was placed via UberEATS to order from their Tramsheds location. Delivery was on time and driver was friendly.
The Belles Chicken Sandwich with Mac n Cheese and Tenders with Old Bay Fries were ordered. The sandwich had a nice crispy piece of chicken topped with lettuce, cheese, and mayo. Mac n Cheese was okay. Could've done with more flavour though. The tenders were crispy on outside and juicy in the middle. The extra Peach BBQ Sauce that was added gave it a tangy sweetness. Fries had nice seasoning.

I've been wanting to try Belles hot chicken for a while now and the restaurant at Tramsheds is a lot less busy then the original at Barangaroo. Unfortunately the chicken did not live up to my expectations. They did however have friendly service and an interesting selection of all natural wines. If you are after fried chicken you first choose the type, then your level of spice, sides and sauce! There are plenty of sides to choose from including beans, mac n cheese, yam salad and fries.
We tried the chicken drumsticks with coleslaw. It's definitely not health food, deep fried, crispy and very oily. But the crispy skin is so moorish, and with the coleslaw it delivers a nice balance.
Quick service and nice ambience amongst the tramshed district.
Very good chicken, friendly and accommodating staff, and awesome music. Can't go wrong with this combo. Highly recommend the chicken tenders.

I must be a closet masochist. The pain n pleasure of subjecting myself to the 'very hot' setting, having the juicy goodness of the drumsticks dribbling on my chin, the hot chilli pepper flakes smeared across my lips and that is after a barely contained anticipation while waiting for my order to be called. I bet it must have been written all over my face, why else does it take them (almost) as long to fulfil my order as they do at barangaroo?
Ahh, good things come to those who wait. Gosh i love belles. P.S. i 'chickened' out n got the 'hot' setting this time ;p.
Very impressive perfectly spiced and balanced chicken burger (called a sandwich on the menu). Great choice of sides - I had a yam salad. Great choice of cider and lemon drink as well, don't remember the brands.
We used to visit the pop up site at Barangaroo and were super excited to hear about their venue at the Tramsheds and Harold Park!
It’s a very cool space, featuring a bar and some seating.
Our favourite are the tenders, so crispy, succulent and juicy! Just perfect! The chicken ribs here are also delicious – the glaze on them is too good!
Another stand out is their version of Aperol Spritz – so delicious!
We’ve been here like 6 times, and each time has been just as good
Highlights were the Arnold palmer and chicken sandwich. For two people, 2 mains (including sides) and one snack are plenty. The chicken ribs were surprisingly fleshy, but reminded me of honey chicken. Wish the Mississippi sauce had a little bit more flavor, slightly bland, but definitely dulled the heat of the spices. Having lived in southern U.S, it's always important to go in with a clean slate when eating fried chicken! But I was pleasantly surprised by the softness of the chicken in the sandwich. Nice to come here for date night, relaxing atmosphere and quick service.
Save Barangaroo Belle's for your daytime visits - Belle's at Tramsheds offers much more of a relaxed, underground vibe thanks to all the polished concrete, shadows, and far less foot traffic. The service also doesn't seem frantic, and the chicken is also better. It's far less greasy to the point the white bread forms no purpose other than display, yet still forms a delicious vessel for your leftover comeback or ranch. The chicken is moist, and the outer is crispy crunchy, and overall leaves the execution at Tramshed's much better than Barangaroo.
Thank God that Melbournians can now get their Really F**king Hot Chicken in Sydney! Yes! Belles Hot Chicken is now available in Sydney. And they are expanding all over the city and inner city suburbs! No matter how many times I have it - Belles always satisfies. One wish - could the Really F**king Hot sauce be anymore hotter??!
Came for the fried chicken + waffles weekend special, stayed for the chicken sandwich. The waffles were great, fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside and thick- perfect for mopping up the maple syrup. I've had the tenders before which weren't great (dry, not crispy). Happily I chose the drumsticks which had a good crunch. Medium spice was not spicy at all - zero lip tingling (there's more spice in a zinger burger) and actually a little under seasoned so would recommend something hotter for those here for a spicy chicken. Chicken sandwich was tasty - great spice, crispy skin and just right amount of lettuce / pickle / mayo. Also got the Arnold Palmer which was a refreshing accompaniment.
This is a fantastic take away option. The staff are always very friendly and the chicken is cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the blue cheese sauce. The portions are also very generous so you definitely get your money’s worth!
The food is great , the chicken drumsticks are bigger than expected, the price is reasonable, however the waiting time is longer than expected , they told me around 15 mins but it takes almost 25 mins ~
Had a great meal here night of 29th April. The chicken sandwich is crafted to perfection with the right balance of flavours. Wash it down with an arnold palmer and you can't go wrong. Staff were attentive and friendly.
Come here at the weekend for bottomless prosecco and chicken & waffles! The food was outstanding...chicken tenders were perfect and juicy and the waffles spot on with the maple syrup. Being designated driver everyone who had the bottomless cocktails tells me that they were epic as well. They do one thing...and they do it very very well!
