We ordered the mango sago dessert and the matcha red bean drink. I recommend the matcha red bean drink with matcha ice cream as it was creamy and delicious. The mango sago portion was a bit small.
The matcha eggette is really good. No too sweet. You rip the balls off and in crispy crust has sticky doughy filling inside. Nice recommendation by Xihuahua 🐶 . Will try their soft serve later as it looked quite impressive for 3.8.
We wanted to try this cafe before but it was so busy we came back. I had my eye on the lychee and rose crepe cake which was nice. Not overly sweet and different to your usual cakes. My husband tried their matcha eggetts with red bean and matcha ice cream.
The texture of the eggetts had a nice chewy bite and again this dessert wasn’t overly sweet. We will be back to try their snow ice and their sago dessert range.
This venue is cash only so come prepared!
The food was great but it was so packed. Need more seats!
I ordered the mango sweet soup which is always great!
Busy cafe. Its my first time and the staff were very friendly and the ice cream eggetts were terrific. Would definitely come back to try their snow ice 🍵
visited here on friday night, very busy & pack because of weekend & chinatown night market. staffs were a bit rude but the dessert was great!
Great Hong Kong Dessert cafe & always packed and busy - prime location in Chinatown. Great milk tea ice cream at a decent price, nice fresh eggettes + ice cream, tasty tang yuan with option of thick sesame paste or (real) ginger syrup - good variety of Cantonese desserts.
Got the matcha and mango egg waffles and I preferred the mango one better. The ice cream is a must and completes the dish. Found it a bit difficult to find this place as it’s tucked away in a little corner.
Good selection of asian dessert, Perfect for that sweet tooth, can be packed at times. We had the mango eggette and the layered cake which was both very delicious and filling. Great value for money in my opinion for portions.
Very nice and affordable dessert place. We got the mango shaved ice and a crepe cake, and both were very good. The staff were friendly and we ended up staying there for a long time and no one kicked us out so that was nice.
A lot to like about this little dessert bar. It’s a small shop with a great range of Asian desserts. Service is friendly and efficient and the desserts are generous and tasty.
Good dessert but relatively small place, love the layer cake and the pancakes! Hopefully next time we will not need to wait for a spot for such a long time!
They offer a wide range of Hong Kong style dessert as well as Taiwanese Snow Ice, French crepe cakes & Creme Brûlée. 🙂 Hong Kong style desserts include classic Sweet soup, Sago, Glass jelly & Tofu pudding etc. Their Eggettes desserts seem to be quite popular as I have noticed most of the patrons were having it as well as take away orders. My Mango Pomelo Eggettes was alright, it was topped with fresh mango, pomelo pulp, chewy mango tapioca, a scoop of vanilla ice cream & drizzled with coconut milk, a dessert inspired by the popular Mango Pomelo Sago dessert. All eggettes are made to order so they have a nice crispy edge to it but because it was all covered by the ingredients, the middle part of the eggettes went all soft & soggy very quickly. Since the size of each eggette was relatively small therefore you don’t expect to have a fluffy & spongy soft centre like a good eggette should be. 😗
On the other hand, their sweet soups were fantastic. Walnut & Black Sesame Sweet Soup both had a rich toasty flavour with a smooth & thick texture. Sweetness was also on point. Their classic sweet soup is something I’ll return for. 🙂
This my favourite dessert place. Have variety of dessert and it was all good. The durian crepe was the best. Always crowded so we need to wait for the table. The place also not big. We need to go out after we finish the dessert this is a bit annoying because usually we eat dessert mean we want to enjoy and we still want to talk with our friends
The BEST place for HK style desserts!
A place that makes the most authentic and genuine HK desserts.
The Mango Sago with Pomelo is a must try! And here, they make it taste pretty much the same as it does in Hong Kong. It's not too sweet and accompaniee by a nice hint of citrus from the pomelo. The sago underneath is always nice and giving the sweet soup some texture.
The matcha crepe in general was a nice treat though personally, the amount of matcha powder sprinkled on top became a little too much near the end resulting in a mouthful of bitter powder.
The egg waffles were crispy and light, just the way they are supposed to be with a fragrant of cream and vanilla.
The place is a bit tight with limited seating but the flow of people going in and out is at a reasonable pace.
HK Day Dessert is a place worth making time for not matter what day of the week, rain or shine :)
Mango Pomelo Sago : 😍 Amazing
Durian Crepe : 😍 Amazing
Tofu & Red Bean : 😊 Good
Mango Snow Ice : 😍 Amazing
Matcha Soft Serve : 😍 Amazing
I think this place is going to be my official dessert hang out. The desserts here are so good and I really wanted to try everything on the menu. The matcha soft serve is so worth it. They load it into the cone and it has a soft, creamy texture to it. The Mango Snow Ice is a must try especially of you come with company. Love, love and love.

SUPER YUM 😋😋😋 Did not expect so much on their desserts when they first opened but truly, never judge ! I especially love their durian mille crepes and green tea egg waffles, amazing flavour and texture.
Takes around 15 mins to come out.
I went here for 2 separate occasions and I enjoyed the experience. I got my desserts super fast and they are all very tasty. I got durian crepe cake at first and rose crepe cake the week after. The flavour wasn’t overwhelming, it was subtle and enjoyable. I don’t really like overly sweet desserts and I enjoyed these. Although, I wish the durian crepe cake has more flavour for durian instead of a subtle durian flavour. Presentation is great! I love it. Would come back again to try other desserts.
Super excited to try this place. Not normally a huge fan of the Asian desserts, but love the HK style eggette waffles. Unfortunately we were still full from dinner & snacks from the markets, so opted for lighter sweets instead. My friend went absolutely crazy on the durian pancakes (she's a durian fan, the rest of us weren't 😟). My papaya fungus soup was light & smooth (very good for the skin 🙂). The place was packed and not many tables in store, difficult to get seats at peak time. Will be back another time to try the eggettes!
Two cute mango pancake/crepes for $8. A bit pricey for take away still I think but it was fluffy and creamy and delicious. Would try it again.
The chocolate eggette trialled on another night was absolutely chocolatey, had a perfect icecream balance and strawberries that were so sweet.

This is a cute small cafe and a nice place to visit if you want Hong Kong/Chinese desserts and want to try something outside of Meetfresh. They make the eggettes fresh, the smell is heavenly and the combination of ingredients works well. The servers aren’t too welcoming or enthusiastic but they aren’t rude either. The fruit used is not fresh but that is expected. I will be returning to try some other desserts in the future.
If you love your durian, you must come here!! They have the durian crepe cake and durian with black glutinous rice in coconut milk dessert which were both awesome but my favourite was definitely the durian pancake. Each serving comes with two pieces and you should definitely have a whole piece to yourself.
Both the matcha and mango egg waffles were great. I liked their eggettes which were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The matcha soft serve is also quite nice and smooth in texture. The service is fast and it is cash only.
Had some serious craving for Hong Kong dessert - so we decided Hong Kong Day Dessert at around China town.
We ordered 2 dessert:
**The lychee and rose layered crepe cake (rate 9/10). If anyone have tried the famous Lady M crepe cake in Singapore or Hong Kong and loved it, you have got to try this cake because in my opinion it is equally as good. The crepe layers were incredibly well made and extremely thin and the subtle rose taste from the cream was just exquisite.
**The matcha egglette (rated 5/10). The egglette at Hong Kong Day Dessert was barely mediocre and very pricey for its quality. The strawberry was sour, the egglettes were dense instead of airy and there were barely any red bean served. All in all, I would not be ordering this dish again.
We grabbed the mango and matcha eggnette to go. Presented well, and tasted great too - sweet!
The staff can come off as a bit rude, went as a group and ordered a few dishes too along with the eggnette and was having a bit of trouble deciding and they just looked frustrated. They made the assumption that I don’t understand Chinese so mumbled to his colleague we’re wasting time and it’s not too hard to decide...
Dont come in here with the expectation that the fruit (especially mango) will be served fresh here.
For $12, i grabbed the mango eggnette and it was wonderful. Served within 10 mins, it was fresh and crispy. Canned mango, vanilla icecream, fresh pomelo and drizzled coconut milk. May seem big but can be finished by one person. Recommend.
We tried 2 different Mango Dessert,
1. Tofu pudong with Mango and pomelo
2. Mango pomelo Sago
Both are really good, can’t pick which one is better.
And chocolate egg net was nice and not too sweet.
9.30 pm this place was pack and around 10-12 people lining up for a seat
