Classic Tzimmy Pita with pork neck - absolute yumminess with succulent pork and a good dollop of tzatziki. Feeling guilty it didn't have more vegetables though!
Zeus Street Greek is a chain store that is famous for its delicious and hearty Greek foods. I have always loved this place and there are a few new menu items so I decided to check out their Westfield store one day for a casual lunch. We ordered a few dishes to share, the first was the new summer menu item, Apollo pork pita with pork neck, pickled cucumber, tomato, cos lettuce and mustard mayo. I loved the tender pork and the pickles added a nice flavour. We also shared some Chips, which were delicious and crunchy.
Picked this place for dinner tonight - I had the haloumi snack pack which including pita bread, haloumi,Greek salad and a spicy feta dip. Their snack packs are customizable allowing you to pick your choice of protein, choice of salad, bread or pilaf and a dip. I thought it was a good portion size, quite filling.
The staff actually forgot to add haloumi into my snack box and I had to go back to get it! But they were very apologetic about it and very polite..
Overall good meal but too pricey at $17.50.
Food is delicious, the mixture of creaminess and fresh ingredients pair together wonderfully. I’m a Zeus regular, I usually always give 5/5 - only reason it’s a 4 today is because the menu has removed our absolute favourite soft shell crab variety and 2/3 of the wraps we wanted to order were sold out. Other than that, it would have been perfect. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. Will recommend to others as a place to try quality Greek food
Came here on a weekday to buy a meal for takeaway. Service was quick and efficient.
Meal was delicious (Aegean Schnitzel). Will definitely come back.
Zeus is probably the best place to go for greek food! Quality is always good, prices are decent for the quality that you pay! Food is always fresh and service is always good! Halloumi is always chewy with perfect seasoning and texture. Loukamades is always cooked perfectly and not overly sweet!
Simple Greek Real food with a twist of modern soul and some funkiness.
Why I said this.. Well because of the Greek food we are expecting some lamb and lemon and oregano as you guy know and been that in tradition from Socrates time, or maybe way back when Greek God such Zues himself rules the Greek land!
Anyway... Real food here is the hero, something with integrity, taste and freshness that bring joys to your tummy, with lots of choice on the menu, I had this Spartan box, that come with choice of your favourite protein, and I picked chicken, and choose if your salad, accompanied with Tzatziki and pilaf... ( well the only thing bit Greek here is the tzatziki ....) but that's the twist and funkiness come to play.
For the salad I choose Aegean Slaw, which consist of julienne carrots, red and white cabbage, crushed walnuts, fresh dill and some Greek yoghurt dressing..... Nice, fresh, tangy and party in your mouth! So yummy...
Some interesting salad here also like saganaki salad and feta & oregano chips and also yia yia's chips that they said hand cut, locally source potato from Grandma's kitchen .... Hahahahaha ... love to try this next time.
PS: to Nourish your Greek soul during meal, you can have also Loux.. Some Greek drink, so good and refreshing!
I had the papa nikou pork pita from the Australia Square branch. Tasty, quick lunch option that's a notch above the basic food court wrap. Firstly, the pita was delightfully fluffy. It was stuffed with a filling of slightly sweet, super tender pork. The mayo had a strong lemony zing which complemented the fatty meat (make no mistake, half the deliciousness was due to the unctuous pieces of pork fat mixed in the filling). Would definitely return to try other options. Fries seem to feature as a filling quite a bit so carb heads would probably love this. A minor note however is that the pitas are relatively smaller than a standard wrap; while it was enough for my lunch I think it may be on the lighter side for big appetites.
Well I found myself in the Westfield Sydney food court after I thought it'd be smart to buy lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon- everything is packed and I ended up sitting on a bench on another level :( but despite the peak-hour'ed-ness, the wrap was made in less than five minutes! I got the Papou Niko chicken pita because it had a salad in it and I'm trying to be healthy(ish)! Salad (which was basically coleslaw) to other fillings ratio is about 60:40. The chicken was really good!! And the onions and sauce worked with it perfectly. The bread is so fluffy too. I would recommend this!
Great Greek wraps - try the Uncle
Tzimmy, brings back memories of holidays to Corfu and Crete. The Athenian is very tasty as well. Be warned there can be a queue at busy times but it's worth waiting for
Tried "The Zeus", truly yummy, succulent lamb, eggplant dip and red cabbage slaw wrapped in the best pita ever, and so satisfying. I wish I could cook lamb as nice as this. I'll have to ask their secret. Service was super fast. They have another location at Australia Square now, which is closer to work, so I'll be giving that a try. Lots of other combos too. I might try the beetroot dip/lamb/chips combo next as it will take me back to the ones I bought in Athens at the Plaka down the hill from the Parthanon. Chips in a pita, oddly addictive!
The menu is nice and concise, yet it caters to everybody. I love the helpful service! Possibly the most delightful thing about zeus street is their furniture, and plates and serving ware - it's all so Greek. I love the simplicity with which it all comes together! The food is pretty good here too. I especially loves the feta in filo rolls, and jiajia's chips with crumbled feta (yup a lot of feta). The slow cooked chicken we got, served in a little clay pot, was nice. The meat was tender and soft and just melted in the mouth. I would have liked a bit more flavour development, though since the lemon, pepper and oil didn't quite come through in the meat completely. The prices are a bit high for the amounts you are getting, sure, but i still do recommend zeus street for some simple greek food :)
Love their soft pita
Tried the soft shell crab and chicken papou niko
Love the papou niko more. The soft shell crab was great but it spikes through my throat so it was kind of unpleasant the chicken was tender and the portion was quite big as well for me

This is a big call, but I'm gonna make it. Zeus St Greek is my favorite takeout lunch in the CBD. And the fact that it's literally about 100metres from my work in the Westfield Sydney food court is damn dangerous!
The prices are a little on the expenno side but it's the CBD, so is everything. However I can justify the money every single time because the food here is consistently on point. Also the staff are so damn friendly always - even in the middle of the lunch rush when the pitas are pumping.
My one true love of the menu is the Uncle Tzimmy chicken pita. Gorgeous charcoal chicken, with tomato, onion, tzatziki, paprika and chips (yep hot chips) wrapped up in the fluffiest pita ever. I always add some sneaky feta for an extra kick. If I could eat this for lunch every day I would. It's a meal in a wrap and the flavours will blow your mind!
If you have room for more please make sure you order the feta and oregano chips. You'll never want plain old chips ever again. You can order a small(ish) side serve to go with your pita, or go all out and order the big box! Go on do it.
Sometimes if I'm feeling a bit more on the healthy side I opt for the Spartan box. This box is packed with goodness and super filling. My go to is the charcoal chicken, with brown rice and pilaf, add feta, tzatziki and agean slaw with yummy walnuts.
If you ever swing by and see a blonde girl adding all of the extra feta - yeah that's me.
Saz - burgersnbikinis xx
Dont really like their soft shell crab wrap. The soft shell crab's skin was rough and unpleasant to eat. However, the wrap was quite good because its soft
We've ate at their Drummoyne restaurant and they are pretty good. So, when found out they are opening at Westfield cbd, we went & check it out during lunch. The food is good, and convenient location for us. My absolute favourite are their lamb, and also the oregano chips (delicious - must try). always telling myself I need to try other stuffs on the menu next time but end up ordering the same one......lol.also worth mentioning that the staffs are friendly.strongly recommended!
Zeus Street Greek makes Greek food accessible, quick and delicious! If you’re in a hurry, or just want a quick meal for one then grab a pita wrap but if you’ve got a bit more time, I highly recommend the Spartan Box or Feast for 2. We opted for a Feast for 2 (between three people – shh, don’t tell them!). It comes with a choice of meat, salad, a side, pilaf rice, pita bread and tzatziki. We chose their Signature Lamb, the Aegan slaw salad and the feta and oregano fries.
Wanted a quick feed in terms of post Star Wars Rogue One movie outing with some high school friends and stumbled upon this place in the level 5 foodcourt of the Westfield in CBD. Decided to give it a quick go, when my friends gave their thumbs up.
Ordered the papou niko ($10.5) and was thoroughly impressed for it as an express takeaway store. The speed of delivery despite the lines was efficient and the roll was delicious. The sauce was the standout for me, along with the juicy chicken that went with the wrap. The onion rings were also a nice touch, crispy and delicious inside my wrap. I think the coleslaw was probably not all too appetising in the wrap. However, on the whole there were no issues for this quick lunch.
Overall, would definitely recommend this place to anybody needing a quick feed in CBD Westfield at the foodcourt for a relatively decent price!
I read about their Drummoyne location and really wanted to check it out but. Ever got around to it. So when u heard they were opening in Westfield, I finally got around to trying one of their pitas when catching up with a friend.
The staff told me their uncle Tzimmy was the best seller, so I went with their lamb +$1 which had tomato, tzatziki, onion, paprika and chips. I found the lamb to be tender and found the pita to be tasty. I'll definitely come back to try their other pitas and maybe their chips as I overheard customers just ordering chips from here.
Haven't had a bad feed from here, ever! Meat is juicy and spanakopita is spot on.... not to sure about the staff, pretty rude and seem like they would rather be somewhere else.....
Paid a visit to this place once the initial opening hype died down. I would definitely be going back here on a regular basis. The Zeus was delicious and the oregano chips were perfectly crisp and tasty.
Opening day was mayhem as they had advertised free lunch! They were offering The Zeus, Papou Niko or the Spartan Box. I went with the Zeus and it was delicious. The lamb was wonderfully tender and the pita bread was so fluffy. The salad inside was crisp and fresh too.
They always serve the best quality! Waited only a short while for my delicious spartan bowl with juicy chicken and scrumptious sides (got the pilaf rice and the slaw). Tzatziki was flavorful! I'm keen to try the other dips next time and also the loukoumades with nutella!! I recommend coming here if you want something quick yet delicious and filling :)
I tend to go for something with lamb. The flavour is there, though the last one was a little dry. They also look a little smaller than a couple years back. Still it's tasty and filling. I love the chewy pita bread used for the wraps.
The food always tastes better when the staff are nice :) seems like a fun place to work. Went here when majority of the other food outlets were closing. Staff were having a laugh and getting on well. In turn, I received great service. Thank you!
Had a lamb spartan bowl and it was amazingly tasty. They always been very busy but also quick. Definitely will come back soon!!
The staff were very busy packing delivery bags yet still made our tasty meal very quickly - thank you girls. We enjoyed Zeus pita and Haloumi chips.
One of the better Zeus Street Greek that I've been too recently. Good service, average wait for the order, and in general pretty good. As expected - good-sized order, not overly sauce and/or sloppy. Recommend the yia yia chippies
