Reantong was recommended to me as one of the best value for money`Thai places in Surry Hills. Located on Devonshire Street just minutes from Central Station, it’s also very easy to get to. Unfortunately, there was loud construction work on the light rail going on outside. Though Reantong Surry Hills has an à la carte menu, the pricing for their rice/noodle and choices are very straightforward and convenient. I opted for the three choices with rice and dined in for a larger serving- a tip from my coworkers!
Humble decor should not steer you away, Step Inside and have a meal, then you will realise the potential of this Thai Shop. Never had a bad experience here, the foods were always fresh and good value. You may choose White Rice or Brown Rice as a start. Diners are encouraged to dine in as the servings are generous. :) Love all their food, especially the chilli fish :)
Great small thai takeaway with surprisingly decent food. Recommend the hot bar surprisingly, especially the pork and eggs in dark sauce. Generous servings at very reasonable prices. Pad Thai and Pad See Eew are good options. Curries are a little on the light side but still tasty.
Eat in if possible, dishes are of much higher quality eat in for some reason.

My favourite place around Central for lunch. Don't let the bain marie put you off, there's such great dishes it gets difficult to decide. Great meal, for under a tenner.
Lovely little Thai, amazing value for money. The Thai food in Sydney is excellent, but this place is a cut above. And most of the dinners are $10! Not a fancy place, but great if you just want a quick meal while you watch people go by.
