Hidden amongst the numerous Korean restaurants, its an absolute gem that only local Koreans know about. You know this place is good when it specialises and sells only Korean-Chinese dishes.
When you start to crave those black bean noodles, this is the place to go. Have not found a better black bean noodle in Sydney as of April 2019.
Best place to eat black bean noodles and sweet and sour pork. Their noodles are hand-made and you can see them making it through the glass to their kitchen
Hits the mark for this cuisine. Black bean noodles, spicy seafood noodles and white seafood noodles. Authentic tasting and fresh ingredients.
Service : simple and friendly
Bathroom : unknown
Parking : street parking
Transport : walking distance from lidcombe station
Note : pull the drawer underneath the table for cutlery
YES:
✔️3. white seafood noodle soup (spicy option) fresh and succulent seafood. The broth is the right amount of spicy and refreshing. **serving size is large so I would recommend sharing
MAYBE:
➖1. black bean sauce noodle
➖2. Spicy seafood noodle soup
The best Korean Chinese food I've had. You can see the noodles being hand made behind a window in the kitchen. The service is good and the soup is amazing. The prices are fair. The only downside is the line up and wait. This though is because the food is so good.

It's really hard to find good Korean-Chinese or 'Joong sik' restaurants in Sydney. Dong Bo Sung is actually one of the best ones that I've been to as it outshines its other competitors in Lidcombe and Inner-Western Sydney.
First of all, the noodles at this place are stunning as they're hand made and that makes a huge difference to the quality of their spicy seafood noodle soup and black bean stir fried noodles. As well, for their sweet and sour pork, they use glutinous rice flour for the batter which gives it a super crunchy and delicate texture. It was sooo damn good and I wish I could've ordered more, hehe.
Hand made black bean sauce noodle is AWESOME! Tried number of korean chinese restaurants around but you can tell these guys do it pretty well using fresh ingredients that you can taste! Had black bean sauce and sweet and sour pork to share! No wonder people line up!

This is the warmest welcoming Korean restaurant I have visited so far. The fried rice with prawn and vegetable was a uniquely balanced blend of taste somewhere between the Korean and Chinese cuisine. This is a small and homely place run by Sunmi and she deserves a frequent visit by Korean food lovers.
