While on holidays in Sydney we walked past the window and were taken with the look of as the little cupcakes. We went back in the afternoon and got some red velvet and salted caramel cupcakes. They were yum. The icing could have been better as it tasted like mock cream rather than a butter icing.

This place does a range of different cupcake flavours that are gorgeous, however found them a little dry and quite expensive, would say they are pretty for nice occasions but have had better cakes. We got red velvet, rocky road, sticky date pudding and cookies and cream, favourite was red velvet

What a cute outlet to be in. Loved the mocha coffee. The cupcakes look gorgeous. I just wish the cream on top was less grainy more subtle. One place to try for sure to pamper you sweet tooth.

Utterly delighted to find The Cupcake Bakery whilst walking down to the Rocks given they all closed down in Melbourne years ago. I've had a soft spot for them ever since they did my birthday cake one year which was a giant tower of red velvet cupcakes. Naturally that's my favourite type but you should also try vanilla vanilla. Deliciously moist with a wonderful buttercream. What more can you ask for?

Well who could walk past this little gem? Not me! I noticed the chilli chocolate numbers sitting in the window & in I went. They were just delicious. Loved that hint of chilli which offset the chocolate perfectly & the service is so friendly

The place for a quick treat. I confess myself a frequent patron of this outlet. Selling many different types of (delicious-looking) cupcakes though it does, I can't seem to stop myself from ordering the same one every time! The Red Velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting ($4) is just a perfect mix of thick and rich red velvet cake, and the cream cheese frosting compliments the cake beautifully.

I will return again- and maybe this time try another flavour!

Update: I finally completed my goal of trying another flavour! The banana cupcake ($4) was pleasant and the cream cheese frosting thick, but I would probably say the red velvet was the superior of the two flavours. Still, a pretty good cupcake.

The moment I walked in I was greeted by incredibly friendly employees. They were very helpful in describing the different options (it was cupcake galore!!!). I really loved the expresso cupcake. I ordered a coffee as well, and it was really great. The shop is cozy, theres a good amount of seating, and the employees make you feel at home. I felt like I could just stay there all day and become best buddies with the employees there! Truly a hospitable environment, fantastic service, genuine employees (you could tell they were passionate about their craft and welcomed constructive criticism of what they could do better), and delicious cupcakes! I'd highly recommend The Cupcake Bakery.

Great and pretty looking, fresh cupcakes served at this cupcake joint.Prices are reasonable and the portion per cupcake is perfect.Excellent customer service provided at the store. My go to cupcakes would be sticky date , cookie & cream and classic vanilla cupcake. Yumm!

Stunning friendly service, and delicious too! I got specialised cupcakes for my team (with our company logo) and they still go on about it. We will be coming back. Great way to treat someone.

Bought a selection box featuring a dozen cupcakes using a deal voucher - all were delicious. A little on the expensive side, but worth treating yourself if you need a sugar hit.
