best services and food, my family had great time, value for money, top recommend
Dreaming about this feast @izuvillage - Japanese hot pot buffet heaven right here in the middle of Sydney CBD ✨my favourite was the sushi platters and the fish tofus (cheese, mochi) 🍢🍣the premium wagyu beef and sashimi platter were also pretty wowee 😋Next time you're in the city, you know where to go!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
fun fact: I don't actually eat sashimi 🙈do you guys?
High quality Japanese buffet with good atmosphere, the foods are delicious and the most important thing is you can eat AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!!!
With an all-you-can-eat menu and high quality sides including a welcome sashimi platter and a range of sushi roll options, how can you say no! Hot pot does not judge, spend your 90 minutes filling yourself with hot pot meats and veggies and finish off with some small bites for dessert! Izu's portion sizes are perfect for just that one or two bites more with your hot pot or just for a small sweet to finish.
Hot weather doesn’t stop me from hotpot. I was here with a group of friends for a sukiyaki feast and since it’s an all you can eat, some of us did the ordering while the others grabbed vegetables, mushrooms and different kinds of fish balls from buffet area to maximise the amount of eating time.
We had sukiyaki and tomato soup base. Sukiyaki was pleasantly sweet and slightly salty without being overpowering. The tomato broth is forgettable and not flavourful enough.
Each table will be served a sashimi platter, with the size depending on the number of customers. Everything was pretty fresh and it made a great appetizer. Their tender and fatty beef was nicely sliced and presented in a box-like container. It was really tasty after coated with sukiyaki broth. We had a mini sushi platter as well but it was just average to me. The fillings were mostly vegetables and cooked ingredients. We had potato salad, seaweed salad, soft boiled eggs, udon and ramen as well and they were of good quality. Make sure you try out those fish balls stuffed with mochi, cheese and mentaiko cheese as they are rarely seen in other restaurants.
To my surprise, Izu village also offer desserts like creme brûlée, panna cotta, ice cream and shaved ice. Have to say it has more options than most Japanese restaurants in Sydney. My favourite were creme brûlée and matcha ice cream. They were also served in petite size so you can get a taste of every item.
Overall food quality was great and wait staff were very attentive. They could probably include a better variety of vegetables, meat and fish balls with this price tag.
We ordered Sashimi, lots of lamb, wagyu beef chuck shoulder and wagyu beef chuck roll with Sukiyaki and Collagen Soybean milk pot, and some sides.
Quality of meat was perfect, sashimi was also good but I noticed they don't serve scampi anymore. No need to fill you tummy with sushi rolls.
Price / performance ratio is very high.
Only thing is the staff might not explain when they present the dish to the table.
Would go back here again.
First time trying Japanese #hotpot! I really enjoy trying new food experiences and this was one of the coolest in Sydney so far.
Loved to add mushrooms and fish balls to the hot soup but also loved the sushi, sashimi and seaweed salad 🥗 the desserts were also not left behind: black sesame ice cream, creme brule and passionfruit cheesecake were on point! Oh! And the Japanese drink with plums insides - like real plums! - tasted so yumm! They also have my self service options of juices and teas! If you are in sydney, definitely is a must to try!!
.
What an amazing place. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding
Great for the most part. The selection is not quite as wide as other buffets but what they do have is really good! Desserts and meats were delicious. There is a $10 surcharge if you eat alone (standard for some buffet places but I wish they made this more clear) and a 2% surcharge when using card instead of cash (I can understand this for credit cards, but there shouldn't be a surcharge for debit cards).
If you love your wagyu, but need to watch your wallet, this is the go-to-place. Had the hotpot which was good value for $38. Just gorge yourself on the thin beef slices and you'll quickly get your money's worth. There are other dishes too but was really only there for the meat!
High quality food and good environment. A little bit expensive because there are only 4 types of meat you can choose.
The seafood were amazing. Snacks are unique but not unlimited as buffet and it’s small.
This place has to be one of thee best hotpot joints I’ve ever visited.
Everything was excellent. Service was great food was lovely the ambience was fantastic
Just abit pricy so I won’t be in a rush to go back but I would love too
Had lunch buffet at Izu village during the weekdays, $38 per person without the sashimi platter, which is really good value for AYCE wagyu beef hotpot. Limited choice of meat, only two types of thin sliced wagyu beef, lamb and pork, some seasonal vegetables and a selection of hotpot food, fish balls, rice cakes etc. However, the quality of the wagyu beef is quite good, and that’s really all you want to eat at this place, don’t get sidetracked by other side dishes or sushi platters, as they are quite filling. Dessert is another highlight of the meal, the matcha mein mein ice is really yum and huge portion too, two of us had to share one, lucky we only ordered one😁 Overall, it has been a good dining experience, nice environment and friendly service.
Highly recommended for meat lovers and hotpot funs.
Food is nice but lack in variety of meat etc. But its still very worth the price. Service was AMAZING. They are very attentive and friendly. Beautiful hot pot place as well. Soup was nice! Would come by again and bring friends!
I'm a bit obsessed with Izu Village! It has the perfect location, right in the heart of bustling Townhall! Head up the stairs and you're taken to a large venue filled with both tables and chair seating and booth seating! Love the warm, timber interior of the shop!
Japanese hotpot with 90mins to have all you can eat wagyu meats, desserts, sides, veggie and sushi; and a huge variety of soup bases to choose from, what's not to love?!
I'm a sucker for spicy so the spicy base and the yakiniku are my fave; though the soy with collagen is an interesting one to try if you're feeling adventurous! The meat was fresh and sliced thin so all you need to do is give it a quick dip before devouring it.
A definite recommend to try with your friends!
Izu village is by far one of the best hot pot buffets I have been to. However I do no think it is worth its dinner price. I suggest that you go during lunch instead and make use of their buy 3 get one free deal.
I went to izu after learning about the buy 3 get one free promotion. I was amazed at the service and quality of the food. I ate till I was stuffed. I personally liked the chuck shoulder and pork.
We got the Taiwanese spicy broth, sukiyaki, tangy curry, and naberyo-ri. My favorite was the Taiwanese spicy and sukiyaki. However the sukiyaki was a little too sweet. I personally don’t like curry, however my friends said this soup base was unique and added a creaminess to the vegetables and meats that were cooked. We all thought that the naberyo-ri was too bland.
The sashimi platter was mediocre, the cuts of fish were not the freshest and did not meet my expectations.
The dessert was my favorite part, unlimited shaved ice and other sweets delights. But here’s the catch, you much join their app in order to enjoy these perks. The app is free to download and has no additional cost, but it is a bit annoying to consistently here from the employees, “you all must download the app in order to have unlimited”, in addition the buy three get one free only work if you join the membership.
Izu Village Restaurant is fun, with broth splashed everywhere, a table bursting with colourful little dishes and the fact you get to play chef for the evening, dunking your tender, thinly-sliced pork shoulder, lamb and wagyu in the bubbling hot pot.
For me, the highlights were the wagyu chuck roll, with udon noodles, in the sukiyaki broth; the incredibly fresh sashimi platter; and the assorted sushi rolls (of which we had three…).
Just, heavens to Betsy, make sure you save room for dessert!
Where to get your Japanese hot pot, Just off George St, not far from Town Hall, keep your eye out for the signs and make your way up the stairs to Izu Village. It’s a spacious restaurant with wood tables complete with a modern hot pot stove in the centre. There’s also a number of Japanese themed booths with tiled roofs, to give you the feeling of streets of Kyoto.

What wasn’t there love here ?, from the service to the food all was incredible. The staff went out of their way to accommodate a group of 10, making us feel Welcome at al times. The food was fast and fresh with really good options of soup bases.
Izu Village is a great restaurant in the CBD area that offers Japanese buffet style dining. We came for dinner and we found the idea of this hot pot exciting. How could we not? They have a large variety of goodies to choose from. Complete with sashimi and sushi platters, assorted veggies and meat balls, desserts and more!
The only ‘trick’ is how to manage your time wisely so you can enjoy the whole dining experience within 90 minutes.
They have several types of broth to choose from and so far our favourites were the sukiyaki and miso soup. Packed with flavours!
As for the dining area, it is quite spacious and I love the Japanese touch on their decor.
Overall we had an awesome dining experience there.
This place is such great value and fabulous food. Plus the kids love that it's so interactive. Where else can you play with your food and get away with it.

With George Street still an ongoing disaster zone from the Liberal Government’s overtime and over-budget light rail fiasco, it’s a tough ask getting into Izu Village. However, once you have dodged the luminous orange Coates Hire barricades, and taken the claustrophobic rat run up the narrow fenced off pavement, if you climb the stairs, you’re in for a nice surprise. The orderly, 130-seater Japanese restaurant seems worlds away from the chaotic mess downstairs.Blonde wood panelling divides the space into a series of more intimate spaces. Window-front tables bathed in natural light are treated to clever wooden screening that lets in the trees while neatly hiding Premier Gladys Berejiklian’s light rail disaster down below. Highlighted with a warm, golden glow, pretty tiled roof tops sit over a row of secluded booths, each dressed up as an intimate dining room for your private Japanese dining adventure. You’re here to eat...

Nice ambience and even better food. The sushi one a hit with me, also the wagyu beef and selection of sides was 👍🏿! Dessert was alright but mainly due to eating soo much sushi and beef. Will defs recommend and will be back la
Keep an eagle eye out for Izu Village or else you’ll miss it on George Street as light rail construction means you have to have to either spot the large sign on top or the number 630 on side of the building.
You’ll want to come prepared to this Japanese Hotpot Buffet. You have 90 minutes to scoff down as much food so bring an empty stomach and a plan of attack.
Here’s the lowdown for a meal here. You’ll need to select what type of broth you want to have in your hot pot. We selected Forest Porcini (mushroom) Broth and they also recommended the Sukiyaki Broth. The sukiyaki is so flavoursome and imparted so much flavour that we also highly recommend this one if you want a nice rich meatiness flavour. Each table is served one sashimi platter and size of it is according to the number of diners. The sushi platter is brought out next. You’ll get one of each type and your favourites can be re-ordered. The sides of mostly salads are also brought out shortly. Our favourites were the mushroom, potato, and vegetable ones. The edamame were nice to snack on.
A short while after that the meats are brought out. There are two varieties of wagyu as well as lamb and pork. Conveniently located in stackable boxes, they don’t take up much room on the table and you can order as many as heart desires and as much as you can consume. Be considerate though and order only what you can eat. The other items such as the seafood balls, noodles, tofu, bean curd, and vegetables are a self service affair. Take as much as you want and can eat and cook them up in the hotpot. Take note that even though there is a wide selection on the menu, not every item is available on the night. Service is pretty good here and they’ll come top up the broth to keep it from going dry. Soft drinks and juices are included as part of the package and you can serve yourself for these.
To finish off there is an extensive selection of desserts to choose from so you can end the meal on a sweet note however as they are more Asian themed they may not be as sweet as you’re usually used to.
Thank you to Zomato and the restaurant for the invite.
The hot post is very good. All of us like it. We ordered the signature soup with a Japanese chili one. The beef is my favorite. With the traditional soup then serve with eggs the beef just so tender. Everyone can order two desert! That’s was a wonderful meal.
Buffet all you can eat style shabu shabu. Price is reasonable.
It’s include sushi roll and side dish. There enough choice to choose.
Ive order two soup base but prefer the collagen soup base. Meat were good.
Could have add more vege variety, not much to choose, but I like that they serve Japanese mugwort.
Add on order for the Dassai sake, one of my fav sake.
Friendly and helpful waiter.
This restaurant offers a variety of different dishes- from hot pot to rice dishes to fresh seafood. We ordered a few sushi dishes which were fresh and tasty. Overall great experience and friendly staff. The only downside is the $68 per person price- over priced.
So difficult to find a Shabu Shabu place in Sydney. When I found this I was so overwhelmed and knew we had to try it! Went during the weekend, lunch time and there was no wait. Got the sukiyaki and spicy soups. Spicy wasn't very spicy compared to Chinese Hotpot. Sukiyaki was sweet and went well with the beef and raw egg. Meat is great quality and thinly sliced. Sides are great. Hotpot varieties are okay but we mostly had meat anyway.
Sashimi platter and sushi was a great touch. Very fresh and well made. Would highly recommend Izu Village! Desserts are small portions and basic.
Overall, would only come for lunch for $48pp. Dinner is a bit overpriced.
Would definitely come back!
A NEW restaurant has popped up and it’s already creating a buzz!
Buffet style dining in 90 minutes, from $38 per person for lunch and $68 for dinner.
The first thing you notice about Izu, is the cats.
First time trying japanese hotpot. I really like it. The taste of the soup was perfect. Its buffet so very satisfied. The place always packed and need to book first so can get the place. Worth to try. Will go back again !
staffs are very polite and friendly. Didn’t wait for long time . We got there around 730pm ,only had been waiting for 15 mins.Food were very fresh . was good but it would be nice if they can add a bit more choices on the menu.
This has become one of my favorite Japanese hotpot place now. Sashimi is so fresh, meat dish is good quality, cute and delicious side dishes. Definitely worth a try for ‘all you can eat’ Japanese hotpot buffet.
By the way, staff is very friendly, the boy even peeled scampi for us so we won’t get our hands dirty! Highly recommend!
This is a pretty nice place for hot pot buffet. You can order as much meat as you want and there is a self serve counter for drinks and other hot pot ingredients like vegetables and all kinds of delicious fish balls. For the broth, I tried the sukiyaki and the collagen soybean milk broth and I prefer the former. The sashimi platter was also really great. The sushi and side dishes were okay. The buffet also included dessert and my favourite was the matcha bingsoo. Overall, a great place if you want a super filling meal!
Bought a groupon voucher which was SO WORTH! Food was as good as it looks in the pics!! If I go again would probably get a clearer broth as some of them were quite strong tasting. Amazing selection of food made it such a fun experience. The service was probably the best I'd ever experienced at an Asian place...all the waiters were so helpful and sweet. One of them even offered to peel the shell off the scampi sashimi for us because we were clearly struggling!! Can't say it's the best hot pot food I'd ever had, but the experience was 5/5!!
Izu Village combines three of my favorite things, Japanese food, hotpot and buffet. They offer a variety of soup base, fresh sashimi, quality beef and vegetables, and of course dessert! Our wait staff was friendly and attentive. Which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was there was a long wait and no guarantee we’ll get a table, lucky we persevered!
Food:5/5
Service:5/5
Ambience:5/5
I had the most amazing lunch experience at Izu Village. The food is so fresh and the service is so attentive. I strongly recommend the sukiyaki hotpot. The seafood sashimi is very fresh and has a lot of variety. The highlight is the dessert, each one of the dessert is special and delicious . Will definitely come back again.
A chic experience of hotpot... this is the second time I’m here for a very valued lunch~ it’s hotpot buffet with sashimi and desert and drinks!! I have to say.. the quality didn’t change from my previous visit about 2 months ago~ the meat come in small portion, but you could reorder as much as you want.. meat quality is great! Beef was exceptional. More desert choices this time 😄👏🏻 you can try both japanese style broth or Chinese style broth.. have it the way you want!
Shushi platter just delicious
Cheap food
Great place to spend your day eating
Nice environment
Staff is good
Would love to visit this place again
Love the Japanese hotpot here, especially the beef with raw eggs, tasting so beautiful! Except that you can also choose another soup like soy milk or Thai flavour for example. There are also varies vege to choose from. The sashimi here is not unlimited but with one piece of every kinds for every person. The prawn is also big that my friends all love it.
What a feast. I rarely go to all-you-can-eat places but this is such a delicious challenge, especially when ladies get half price on Tuesdays - the queue looks insane but we only waited for 30 minutes at dinner hour.
The sashimi is okay, it’s a nice thing to offer though probably not their specialty. Started with a few appetizers and assorted sushi, nothing really stood out. But when it comes to the hot pot itself, the wagyu is worth the wait! Praise whoever that invented the combination of sukiyaki and raw eggs. I’d say the soy milk soup base would be more suitable for veggies, adds a creamy flavor. Wouldn’t recommend the lamb though, it’s suspiciously fragile and breaks into thin streaks the moment it comes into contact with my chopsticks (note, I’m not a violent user).
Dessert is tiny, considering how full we were it would be a non issue for most people really. I had crème brûlée, and the ice cream looked a bit pathetic.

Izu Village is located across the road from Event Cinemas George St. To get to the restaurant, you walk up some stairs that take you from the chaos of George St to this welcoming Japanese interior. interior as you walk into the restaurant. Izu Village offers a 90 minute hot pot buffet experience at $48 for lunch and $68 for dinner. There is a selection of meats, veges, sushi and desserts you can choose from which you cook at your table.
Good place to have japanese dofu hot pot, Drink for free as well. Staff is very interesting and friendly. Waygu beef taste so good. 味道很好,有机会下次会再去吃
Had an awesome experience here! There aren’t a lot of variety in terms of meat and vegetables but the meat quality is pretty good. The sashimi was surprisingly good too - I didn’t really any expectations for it since it’s a hot pot place. The desserts were good too - I liked the cheesecake and the shaved ice the most.
Second time being here, still super delicious hotpot with wagyu and everything
Loveeee it!
My favourite pots are still sukiyaki and soybean, but noticed thru have a few more pots now and also a lot more desserts on the menu.
Came to try their Japanese hot pot buffet with a few friends with a promotion going on for $24 pp during lunch. It was a deal breaker, totally worth every dollar. Decor was lovely, very polite and attentive waitresses.
We had unlimited meat, sushi, desserts and drinks with a ‘one platter of sashimi’ per table. The meat variety was minimal but each option was tasty and fresh. Sashimi portions were generous, fresh and so GOOD! Vegetable and sides were also generous and refillable with a very good variety too. Drinks available included orange/apple juice, calpis, milk tea and my favorite plum juice.
Pros:
- Exceptional variety of drinks, vegetables, sushi and side dishes (unlimited order)
- 8 soup bases to choose from- can do single or double
- generous Sashimi platter- so fresh!
- ONLY $24 pp for lunch buffet
- Excellent and fast service
Cons:
-limited meat variety (2 wagyu, pork and lamb)
- Only 90mins dining
Went here for dinner with my girl friend. Have to say that the meat was absolutely amazing. No matter it was pork or lamb or the two kinds of wagyu beef, it was delicious!!! The sashimi was more generous than I expected, surprisingly fresh and nice! Good soup base, as we ordered tomato base and Taiwan spicy base. Other salads and small dishes were nice too. Will go back again.
I’ve been eyeing this place ever since it opened. Came for dinner and it was pretty busy. So how it works is it’s $68pp for 90mins unlimited buffet which includes a wide selection of drinks. There is also a maximum of 1 plate of sashimi per table and 2 desserts per person. You can also either select 1 or 2 soups. We ordered the Tom yum soup and Japanese spicy soup. The soups were ok, were not as rich as other hotpot soups I’ve had. There’s also a salad and fish ball bar which you can go up and refill at your desire.
I ordered a few sushi pieces and sashimi to try everything out. The sushi pieces weren’t that great, were pretty standard and tasted like they were premade a while back. The sashimi though was super fresh and yummy. There was also a very limited selection of meats available which was a downside. There were many fish ball options though and plenty of side dish options. Service was actually pretty good as well. Although it was a Japanese restaurant, the majority of staff were actually Chinese so I was impressed at the service we were getting.
Overall, although the food wasn’t exceptional, it was good value for the variety of items that they offered. The hotpot soup wasn’t as flavourful but perhaps I picked the wrong broths? I would come back but only for lunch - this would definitely be much better value as you get the same stuff at a cheaper cost. Highly recommend trying this place out for the experience.
This is the second time I visit this Japanese hotpot buffet. Sukiyaki hotpot is the most classic. The new flavour, Tom Yam Gong hotpot, has great depth of flavour with excellent balance.
Sashimi is limited and supplied by the number of people.
It is freezing cold these days, you definitely need the Japanese style hot pot buffet😆
I came here many times, like it sooooo much, highly recommend that you guys to try it.
Sashimi is maximum one platter per table, 2 pieces every kind? I cannot remember, since I didn’t come here for the sashimi. I love the Sukiyaki pot and Wagyu, and a raw egg is a must for the Sukiyaki! Crack a raw egg in a separate bowl, then beat the egg to mix it thoroughly and this is your dipping sauce. It can cool down the meat from the pot and also make the meat tender. Very tasty, believe me!😉
They also have pork and lamb, for the meat you can have as much as you want, also there are many kinds of vegetable for you to choose from.
I was on a diet, so I haven’t had any desert, but my friends said they are good. The rain drop cake is the hit, will look really nice on your ins
Service here was attentive and great.
Definitely will come back with friends.
It's the third time I've been here for lunch....Lunch is cheaper with same quality food and I may gain less weight as I have more time to exercise:)
This restaurant serves all you can eat buffet for wagyu beef. (Lunch for $48 and dinner for $68 per person)
It also offers certain portion of sashimi for each person. I guess if you register for the membership (with no payment) you can also eat unlimited dessert..( plz check with the restaurant for the detailed conditions...
Try the sashimi! I love the scampi most! Large and fresh!
Sukiyaki is a kind of Japanese hotpot, which tastes a bit sweet. ( you can see from the pic the half part of the pot in the darker color.... sukiyaki is perfectly matched with wagyu beef!!!! Trust me! After you getting the beef out of the sukiyaki, dip it into the raw egg liquid, which cools down the beef and add special flavor to the beef.
This time I tried a new flavor of pot - Tom Yam Gong, which means sour and spicy shrimp soup in Thai. I am a huge fan of TomYamGong, so I enjoyed this! There were a lot of lemongrass inside, which is an authentic way of doing TomYamGong. Use this soup to cook vegetables and mushroom, you will feel the sweetness and freshness of them.
The chocolate mousse cup was the most delicious one among all desserts!
All you all, if you can eat a lot, then this restaurant perfectly fits you! (I did eat a lot every time I went there 😼

We came for the Japanese style of hot pot and they didn't failed us! The sukiyaki base is a must! with fresh free range eggs it turns the meat to another level!
And we also tested the new tom yum base which is awesome with veges. highly recommended.
For meats, we've consumed 20 plates of wagyu beef that's how yum they are especially in sukiyaki pot. The huge supply of veges is my love. mushrooms and all kinds of Asian greens.
Sashimi platter sushi platter was in high quality of freshness.
The Japanese appetizers were great. soft boiled egg was my favorite.
Other food choices varieties run from fish tofu, taco ball, crab claw etc.
As a huge matcha fan, I must took the matcha ice with read bean and I love it.
The rain drop cake was crazy on social media but it turns out not as fancy as the photo shown.
It's a popular place even in weekday's noon perhaps book in advance if you want to come.
Really tasty Japanese buffet!! Just $48 for lunch and $68 for dinner time. My favorite dish is Tom Yum Kung hotpot, sashimi and beef. Highly recommend!!!
I have been to this Japanese restaurant several times, and all the different soup flavors have good tastes. Recommend beef for hotpot and matcha ice cream.

甜虾&扇贝&三文鱼&北极贝

The dishes are delicious and the sashimi platter is very fresh, including tuna fish fillet salmon fillet shrimp and arctic scallops. Japanese hotpot is very authentic, with shouxi pot and soy milk pot, four types of meat are available in unlimited quantity. Dessert is also great, with cheesecake, Japanese cheese, Japanese dessert daifu, and ice floss. It's a hotpot buffet that you can't miss.
Nice Japanese style hotpot buffet. So many soup flavor are provided, beef pork and lamb and vegetables are unlimited provided.I personally recommend beef. Most sweet are home made, must have a try of all of them.
The restaurant is just located at the opposite site of event cinema on geogre st. easy to find.
The location is opposite the cinema. It is easy to find . The Japanese hotpot has different flavour. The sushi is really nice .Super fresh sashimi perfect beef . The best is the dessert! The environment with excellent service here . 48 for lunch ~
I came to visit Izu after morning class, the restaurant is quite easy to find, walking towards the Event cinema on George St, and Izu is just across the road on the second level next to a beauty shop. To be honest, Izu is one of the best Japanese buffet I’ve tried in Sydney as it provides the most fresh food (both meat and various vege choices), sweets and customer service. We tried the traditional hotpots (a combination of Sukiyaki soup and mushrooms soup). We also had Wagu, cheese rice cake and Asian vege, notes, they have a vege area that allows customers to self themselves. Must try sashimi!!
This Japanese hotpot is on George st ,it‘s very easy to find .Really nice place!Lunch is only $48 then include many kinds of food to choose!Super fresh sashimi ,perfect scampi, beautiful dessert and so on!
Good service , great environment...All u want is here!
Good place. The location is in the 603 George st, it is easy to find and the waiter is kind to us. There are many starters and I am really into the mushroom and egg. The wagyu beef is perfect and there are different taste to try. The sashimi is so fresh and it also provide scampi. The dessert is so beautiful and I don’t know which one to eat. It’s a good place to recommend.
environment:typical Japanese style. Clean and tidy.
Service: quick response and kind
Dishes: fresh, tasty, brand new experience
A good choice for friends and couple.
Pretty good!
Sukiyaki pot is recommended🍲
Good quality Wagyu beef and sashimi🍣🐂

With only 90 minutes dining time. But it is enough for finishing the meal
Finally tried this Japanese style hotpot. I went to there for lunch with friends on weekdays,so it’s not very crowded. I really like all the beef dishes over there, plus the sashimi stuff. Besides, all the dessert are pretty good to have a try. It worths the money!
A highly recommended Japanese style hot pot restaurant located in CBD area.
Pleasant environment with very tasty food.
$48 for lunch buffet and $68 for dinner buffet. 90 mins limited.
Variety soup base to choose from. Can do two flavour in one pot. Highly recommend sukiyaki and curry flavour.
Izu Village has many kinds of Japanese starters, sushi rolls, vegetables and meat balls. And they are all-you-can-eat. Although Izu Village only has four kinds of meat, they are unlimited as well. Beef is much more tasty than lamb or pork and it’s perfect with sukiyaki soup base. Sashimi is very fresh and even with scampis. But the sashimi and desserts are limited. It’s served by the number of people.
Pretty good ! Finally eat it in Sydney though there was no chance to eat in Beijing. It tastes really good. My four classmates and I were all fed up.
Because it was four people, we ordered two double-flavor hot pot. One of them contains Sukiyaki and Japanese soya bean milk, the other one contains Tom Yum Kung pot and Mushroom soup pot. The Sukiyaki tastes very authentic and the Japanese soya bean milk soup has additional collagen inside. You must try these two dishes you will never regret it. Highly recommended!
[Australian cow shoulder & Boutique lamb]There are many kinds of meat, but these two are very tasty! The beef is especially tasty when put it in the sukiyaki pot, and it tastes a little sweet. Also the mutton is very tender. BTY the supply of meat is unlimited. You can eat as much as you like. (We ate nearly twenty plates of meat LoL)
[Sashimi Platter]Only one for every table and the number of sashimi supposed to depend on how many guests there are. The sweet shrimp is really delicious. It`s very tender and there are shrimp seeds on it. Salmon is very abundant and it was cut into many. Every piece of salmon is really fresh.
[Sushi Slash]Recommend salmon sushi and eel with sweet potato rolls! Eels and sweet potatoes are perfect match. We just ordered a one sushi slash mainly because we ate too much boiled meat LoL.
[scallop apron & Japanese jellyfish]There are many kinds of cold dishes but these two are the best. It can just cut the grease when you eat too much meet.
[Matcha soft ice & Japanese water cake]There are many kinds of desserts such as chocolate ice cream which is a little bit sweet and slightly greasy if eat too much. The appearance of Japanese water cake is not as good-looking as I thought. But it tastes good indeed. The Matcha soft ice is delicious. There is also a dessert which is delicious and unfortunately I forgot its name.
Of course, the restaurant provides a lot of Japanese meatballs and vegetables and mushrooms. But I am a meat eater and eat less vegetables.
Lunch buffet Japanese hot
Good food, good environment and good service.
highly recommend the sukiyaki hot pot, the veges goes very well with sukiyaki soup. You can taste the nature sweet and fresh of the vege. There are also some other spicy soup with more taste. The Sashimi plater comes with shrimp, very fresh. There are wide range of choice for dessert, if you are a Matcha fans , you can't miss Matcha sonw ice with red bean source.
It is also a wonderful place to go with kids. 5years old and under eat free and .5-12years half price.
This Janpanese hotpot is quite good with fair price. The waiter provides recommendations when we ordered food. We got lots of options about meat: beef, lamb and pork. It might be a bit slow in serving the desserts. Overall, it is a great experience.
Definitely a highly recommended HOTPOT!
IZU Village is located at Sydney CBD area, right on George St, and very close to World Square, which is just soooo convenient to come and enjoy a delicious and bounteous meal.
Additionally, they have special price for lunch customers, only $48 to enjoy 90 minutes unlimited hotpot buffet. For dinner, it is $68 per person.
The sushi and sashimi are absolutely gorgeous, so fresh and nice seafood taste. I would also strongly recommend you to try their small dishes such as salad, cucumber and mushrooms, very unique and special flavor.
The best part is the hotpot! For first time visiting this restaurant, you should try their sukiyaki hotpot and soy milk hotpot. Sukiyaki is a Japanese traditional taste. It tastes more like a savoy dish, however it is so balanced and taste great with beef. The soy milk hotpot though, has a lighter taste.
Personally, I really like the curry hotpot and Tom Yam Gong hotpot. Curry goes great with Udon noodle and fishballs, and Tom Yam Gong is really similar with the soup I had in Bangkok. Tom Yam Gong’s sour and a bit of spicy are just delicious.
For desserts, I would say just order whatever you like, because the whole dessert menu is impeccable!
#WorthIt
A great place for friends and dating! Weekend Lunch $48 pp with fresh sashimi and unlimited wagyu beef slices, I would just say worth it especially when u r a carnivore like me :p Have to be quick cuz 90mins dining time and a pretty long Q waiting outside.
Dessert and sashimi are limited tho I wish I can have one more sweet scampi awww
Clear and sashimi is fresh!highly recommended! Recommend for family and friends to enjoy the hot pot. Sukiyaki soup base and tomatoes one are yum
First time at this place. Sukiyaki soup was yummy and never disappointed. Tom Yum was delicious and authentic Thai taste.
There were also many choices of drinks for all you can choose in the fridge.
Staffs were impressed and helpful if it is your first time visiting. Quick service and pay attention very well.👍😋👍
BEST HOT POT 🔥
Incredible service, amazing selection of fresh food and vegetables, all you can eat options.
The food was unreal! The flavours, the speed of how everything comes out, the portions, everything was spot on.
You must try this hot pot.
And they had all you can eat sushi 🍣
like how can you not come here?!
Thank you for the special service you provided my work family,
Will be back always & forever!
Seriously if you're reading this review and need a good vibe, good feed, easy location.
Don't walk, run to this place.

Stumbled upon this restaurant on a Friday evening after googling the closest restaurants around and it was easily the best decision ever! It was our first time at a Japanese hotpot place and the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We dealt with three different staff members throughout our sitting and I can't express how great they all were!
The food was also really delicious, the unlimited sushi and self-serve drinks were also a great touch!
Highly recommended! Would not hesitate to come back next time I'm in the city.
Good atmosphere. Staff are nice and very quick.
Ordered the all you can eat buffet and they were always around to take additional orders.
Mango shaved ice was delicious.
Don't forget you cna ask for half/half for the hotpot soup base of you can't decide.
There's even a little fruit box they give you at the end to take home. Nice little touch.
Food was great, service was great. Wish there was more veggies. Sad some desserts were not available
Good service from most of the staffs. Really quick service when we ordered more meat for our buffet. Even tho it’s buffet, they’re still providing nice quality meat. Will surely come back
There are really long queues leading outside the store, it is very popular and also expensive.
The food is very good and I enjoyed it, a good selection of broth to choose from and good meat.
You can also order sushi but you only get one platter of sashimi at the start and can't order it again.
The staff seemed to ignore me and only spoke in Chinese to my girlfriend, so English speakers might have some trouble ordering.
The desserts are limited and you can only pick two.
Overall I would call it my favourite hot pot that I've been to, but the high price means I will only come here on special occasions.
