Great food and wine, highly recommend the fig jelly /chicken liver pate and gnocchi ☺️ the sardine is a bit salty to my taste though. Love this place :)

This newish wine bar is a right favourite! And with a solid wine list, fancy cocktails and outdoor wine garden, why wouldn’t it be? There’s also a daily happy hour that goes for two hours (5–7pm), and it involves $1.50 oysters and $15 wine carafes.

Then there’s the Mediterranean-inspired share plates to snack on – things like BBQ scallops, charcuterie and croquettes. And I haven’t even mentioned the ‘crackin’ Thursdays’ yet, when the Black Bottle crew crack open random bottles of wine and serve $2 glasses of vino and $2 pintxos. Pull up a stool!

I can't believe the rating isn't higher for here! I love this place.. the idea of Black Bottle is so cool. It's awesome being able to see all the fresh produce and picking what you want. I've found the food always to be delicious, and the wine is such a reasonable price! The scallops are regularly featured in the food cabinet and are probably my favourite dish. Also can't go past some cheese with red wine - and they do carafes! Honestly give this place a try.

Cozy, warm, relaxing and feels like you're at home! Black Bottle is a quirky venue where you can either sit inside or in a little courtyard out the back connecting to the street.

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable making the whole experience brilliant.

Service is great, they explain the dishes and wines as though you're in a fine dining restaurant but without paying the high price tag.

Majority of the menu is changed weekly using all fresh ingredients and it tastes amazing!

On my visit I had the Scollops which are delightful, fresh house-made pate, baby octopus, baby cos, charcoal Barramundi, roast potatoes and a scrumptious chocolate tart.

If you're wondering through Darlinghurst I can highly recommend popping in for a drink or a casual dinner. It is a place where you can stop by for a few bevies or sit and enjoy a nice fresh dinner!

A quaint bistro, we had an early pre theatre dinner on a cold windy evening. The restaurant was welcoming & we were warmly greeted by Andreas (restaurant manager) who was friendly & introduced us to the offerings as there was a Bastille Day promotion going on. The food was top notch & out steak was perfectly cooked. Seating is on high tables inside & normal tables in a courtyard at the back. The restaurant quickly filled up with regulars & the friendly vibe added to the ambience. A great place for an suthentic French meal - we definitely will be back.

These guys no how to do great food and wine. Rustic dishes with relaxed vibe to match. The chef takes great pride in his dishes - even came out to shave farm fresh black truffle at the table (incredible with the beef rigatoni). Highly recommend.

Excellent Deli and Wine Bar; thoughtfully selected food menu featuring inventive, yet elegant dishes and to-die-for cheese/charcuterie boards. Very dedicated chef with a love for details (just take a peek into the open kitchen) and super friendly staff. Must go!

Went for dinner last night with 3 friends. Started with a perfect negroni and finished with a delicious Grenache. Everything food and service wise in-between was amazing. A small yet fantastically passionate team looking after each station. Will definitely be back.

Not one to normally write reviews but, I had the pleasure of enjoying an amazing dining experience at Black Bottle recently. Sat in the garden area where it was really pleasant and provided a great vibe. As for the food, from appetisers right through to desert, it was nothing short of spectacular. For the main, I tried the Barramundi and it was far and away the most amazing barramundi meal I'd ever experienced. Barra cooked to perfection with an unbelievable sauce topped off … See more Heated outdoor dining · Outdoor dining · Fine dining · Great dessert · Indoor Dining · Creative cuisine
