The best gyoza I've ever had! I will never stop coming back for more. The first time I tried it I ordered 4 servings just for myself haha! The ramen is okay, the broth could be more flavourful especially for the non-spicy ramen. But the gyoza is unbeatable and makes this place deserving of 5 stars. The workers are always very kind too! Good service. :-)
This is a nice place for a quick lunch. The service is quick and the ramen is okay but still satisfying. I did enjoy the tempura chicken which was crispy and juicy.

One of the last stalls to open in the new Market City Level 1 Food Court is Kaedama Ramen Bar, complete with Japanese style wrap around eat in counter. Kaedama is right upfront about what they are what they do, slotting into the hakata style of thick pork tonkotsu style noodle soups and offering kaedama, or extra noodles to add in when you have loads of broth left, for $2.50.
New ramen bar! As an avid ramen fan, I couldn't help but give this new place a shot. They specialize in in Hakata style tonkotsu, which is a lighter version umami of the thick broth.
Upon starting, the broth was light yet full of depth on flavor, which was quite startling as it was not that thick. The noodles had texture and was quite springy and chewy which were quite consistent throughout. The chashu had also melted in your mouth as you ate it, which the fats covered the meat had disappeared into your palette. Overall I quite enjoyed the experience of this ramen, and definitely would go back for more!
Kaedama please!
I had the Hakata Ramen and kaarage chicken at the newly opened Kaedama Ramen Bar in the Market City food court. Loved the ramen, the broth was tasty and light. I read the broth was boiled for 8 hours, no wonder! The food came quickly which is a plus during the busy lunch hour.
