It's a nice cosy place hidden down the stairs at Balgowlah Plaza. Hard to miss though because of all the signs haha. I was the only customer in the place beside an elderly couple who left shortly after I sat down. Service was not too bad, the owner himself waited on my table. He was nice and polite. The food was good too despite all the bones in the crispy chicken which kinda killed dinner for me although it was advised on the menu. It was tasty nonetheless.
Ordered take away one afternoon, it was great.
Ordered delivery one evening, it was great flavour, quick delivery, everything was fresh, hot, sweet, tasty, just as Chinese food should be. The whole family loved it.
Can’t fault the rice, meat or vegetables. And we’ve tried every Chinese restaurant from Manly to Avalon.
Our guaranteed family Friday night meal from now on. And Sat lunch if there’s any left over.
Food was great, nice and hot on arrival (picked up my meal). However, Sweet and sour pork is not very nice wouldn't pick it again. Overall, food was good but wouldn't be my first priority.
This is our local "go to" Chinese Restaurant. Food is always great. Love dining in but home delivery is always fast, fresh, hot and tasty. Highly recommend.
Good value Chinese restaurant tucked away just off Sydney Road in Balgowlah.
It was pretty busy when we went there - very popular with families, yet the service was still pretty good. Food was simple but tasty.
If you have a copy of the Entertainment Book, I recommend you take it there to save a $ or 2.
Love Dumpling Inn, the food delicious, love the prawn toast, special fried rice, they also have a great selection of dim sum as well as other Chinese dishes, you are spoilt for choice, and you most order the deep fried icecream for dessert.
