Heavy, tasteless, and way overpriced pub schnitzel. Two stars for an ok mushroom sauce and friendly service. Presumably it’s status as an “institution” keeps it alive. It’s certainly not the food, decor or atmosphere.
Best San Choi Bao, they even cater for vegetarians! And the tofu, mushroom & bean sprouts noodle soup is superb. The food is fresh and clean - and not oily. Food that reminds me of my Grandma. Good service too.
Ordered take away. Really expensive, small serves and arrived cold. ( uber eats ) chicken was like cardboard, the San Chow Bao for 2 wouldn't be enough for one lettuce leaf. Ripped off!
Always enjoy the quality food and the overall experience. Not huge portions but taste great so no complaints.
After 1/3 hour waiting I called up them to check on my food and found out it was given to the wrong person and on the top of that was told to call Uber to complain for it, so I wasted my time and money. Very upsetting and frustrating situation! I will not order again in this place!.
