I tried the chicken pho and I think it is the best I have had in Sydney. Highly recommend it. Plus the price point was right on. Looking forward to go again.

Mai Viet is located conveniently within the food court of Central Park Mall (one level below the cinemas). I came here twice with some mates, the first time ordered the rare beef pho, the second time I had special beef pho (with beef balls). The broth was bangin’ and the meat toppings were well cooked (I actually prefer their soup over some other restaurants that I have been to in Cabramatta (Sydney’s Vietnamese food haven). The portions are decent for the price (between $11-$15), with the regular being just enough for my normally massive appetite. I haven’t tried anything else on their menu however if you want a good pho fix in the city, definitely recommend checking this place out!
The centre was doing various $8 specials for Chinese New Year, and Mai Viet had an offer for their regular beef pho for $8 (normally it's $11). My friend got one, I opted instead for the spring roll vermicelli salad (no specials). Both meal were pretty good for food court standard, and good value even at the normal price (serving sizes smallish for regular, but ok for the price). The only thing was that the rare beef was really not rare by the time it got to us.
This place has an extensive menu for vegans. Vegan pho, vegan vermicelli, vegan summer rolls etc. I ordered the vegan vermicelli with vegan fish sauce and it was great. Generous portions for $11 and not to mention you get lots of yum veggies, spring roll and tofu.
The pho is very well priced (the menu in store is different to the one on Zomato ... the pho I got was a regular for $11). I have tried the beef pho and the vegan pho and both are great in their own ways!!! Definitely a good addition to the Central Park food court.
4.3 - Pretty delicious! I got a Chicken and Prawn Noodle Soup with Thick Rice Noodle. $14.50. I can't tell you much about the soup as I had squeezed Lemon in it so found it sour. I would hope that it tasted Home Made, which would be so good for a Takeaway place!
