I love the soy and seeds bread. They also got really good ingredients for what they use for the sandwiches.
The interior is well designed.
I only wish if people there could be little bit more friendly and polite.
Love this place for the variety of sandwiches you can get.The staff is friendly and they can customise your sandwiches as well.Try to get there a but early during lunch as you will be in the queue waiting to get your dose of goodness.
Sandwich shop is a really cosy lunch Eatery in Surry Hill. They do some rad salads and vegan bowls at an affordable price. This place is good for a quick bite or takeaway, personally, I love the footpath seating area. The service is great and the staff is really friendly. They do have Liven collaboration, to get some of those quick points.
Please don’t under estimate of good sandwiches!

First time I tried the chicken club,
Simple soy linseed was fresh, nice and fluffy.
Poached chicken was the bomb!
Plus the combo with pancetta... OMG... Match from heaven!
Herb Mayo was tasty, tomato is just right on room temp and green leaves, looks fresh!

Cute little sandwich shop in Surry Hills. I can't emphasise enough how great the gluten free bread is (usually the slices are tiny, dry or non-existent), as this lunch spot makes sure that you don't miss out on the delicious fillings.
My go to is the turkey club, as the mayo is delicious and everything is very fresh. Although regularly packed, the Sandwich Shop is great as service is friendly and quick.

A nice little shop tucked away in a side street serving out delicious creations and what ever you can think of. The pricing is a little higher than normal but they make up for it with being generous on the portions in the sandwich so all is forgiven
Located in Reservoir Street, this is a nice little sandwich shop (quite crowded during lunch hours). I have quickly become a fan of the Sandwich club, composed of chicken, pancetta, avocado, slice tomato & lettuce. I found it really tasty, generous and good value for money (price below $10). I also like the quick and efficient service and the nice lady at the counter.
Pretty excellent sandwiches from this little shopfront on Reservoir Street. I had a Reuben - sliced corn beef with melted Swiss cheese on sourdough with (wait for it) thousand island dressing. Bizarre, but it worked. Scrumptious. The next day I had a sweet tasting BBQ beef brisket sandwich, which was contrasted by a huge slathering of Dijon mustard - beautiful. Eat it on the little wooden bench outside, with all the cars and footfall intruding, and it feels uncannily like being in Manhattan.
This is a great lunch spot and one of my favourite sandwich shops! It offers a great selection of gourmet fillings. The first time we ordered the pulled pork sandwich and had to wait for a while. The second time we rang and ordered Rueben sandwich over the phone, then walked over and picked it up straight away. My favourite was still the pulled pork, it was juicy, flavoursome, and sooo tender. The portion was very generous, definitely could fill one up for lunch. Love it!
Good selection of sandwiches with quality produce and protein. Salad options too if you are not feeling carby. Got the soup and half sandwich deal which is under $10. Not bad at all
Who doesn't like a good sandwich? For a tenner you get magic here, but make sure you add chilli and get it toasted. Pulled pork is the bomb but the club with chicken and panchetta... What a marriage. How could you go wrong (BTW, schnitty is a social treat too)
Pretty tasty sandwiches and soups. Only been twice but I find their portions a little small. I'll admit that they're pretty reasonably priced, but think I'd prefer to pay a little more and get a more substantial meal. Having said that, it tastes good and that's what mostly counts!!
Fresh baked bread, warm chicken schnitzel, with thick slices of provolone cheese and a side of avocado…my mouth is watering just thinking about yesterdays lunch at The Sandwich Shop. Mmm…
The bread comes toasted and may shred your mouth innards with its beautiful crust but let's just focus on the rolls of corned beef that make the guts of this little baby

Such a cute little shop! Geared more towards takeaway, yet still offering seating, this little cafe sure knows how to make a mean bacon and eggs roll! Made fresh while you wait, the bacon and egg roll was loaded with bacon, a runny yolked fried eggs and a tangy BBQ sauce that did not disappoint all for only $7. As well as the bacon and egg roll the shop offers a wide range of other breakfast options, salads and of course a great sandwich menu, all for great prices!

Not my thing. My experience here was nothing like the reviews. I ordered a toasted reuben and it was terrible. I think the rye was stale not toasted. I've only had one Reuben before so maybe its just not my thing.... But then again the first one was awesome. Sadly, I wish I'd just passed on this place.
Had the house Reuben and beef brisket between us. Both good and unique flavours. The chicken schitzel looked good and I will be getting that next time. The muffin is yum!
Fresh ingredients, great combinations and everything is under $10. Better than subway for sure.

AMAZING SANDWICHES!!!. The chicken schnitzel sandwich is sooooooooo good! Totally addicted to this sandwich shop - on some days i taxi it over during lunch break just to pick up my favourite sambo! Limited seating area inside - be prepared to take away & grab coffee next door at Single Origin.
Delicious sandwiches made to order at this hole in the wall shop in Surry Hills. There’s a bunch of interesting flavours to choose from. You can choose from 3 different bread types, soy linseed Ploughman Sandwich is the best imo. Didn’t get to try the beverages yet.
I love sandwiches, some may say I am sandwich junkie. But no longer. I have found my sandwich fix. The first bite took me to a place I have never been. They are surreal sandwiches, the best in the city. The staff are more than accommodating and very friendly. 10000% recommend anyone to head here. It’s sandwich heaven.
Best Reuben I've had in Sydney. Rye bread, sauerkraut, corned beef, all on point. Can't wait to go back to try their other sandwiches.
The Sandwich Shop is one of my top spots for lunch when I'm working in the area. My favourite sandwich is not always on the menu - the beef brisket, topped with mustard and wedged in soy and linseed bread always does the job.
Their coffee is also great and not something to miss if you're craving one. For the sweet-tooths out there, definitely get their awesome giant cookies, it will keep you going all afternoon! They also have new porridge specials (only $5!) which is lovely on those cold winter mornings.
Phone ahead if you're in a hurry, to skip out on waiting (although the wait isn't terribly long, these guys are pretty efficient).
I honestly can't say enough good things about this place; great quality, healthy food with gluten free options. The staff are really friendly, and please don't be out off by the queue as it's a well-oiled machine and it goes down quickly. Pulled pork is a favourite sandwich and the Cesar salad is really tasty with hard boiled eggs and moist roast chicken, and I normally add the amazing chipotle mayo to whatever I order. They also do a flourless brownie!

I started eating at this place so often that the girl behind the counter knew my name and order, and I had to wean myself off the sandwiches.
The fact that these guys can make such delicious sandwiches with such beautiful, fresh ingredients so cheaply, just makes me wonder why there are so many bad sandwiches in Sydney.
You can't go back the pulled pork sandwich - it is truly spectacular. Another favourite is the chicken schnitzel, which will far surpass any chicken schnitzel sandwich you've ever had before. My regular order is the sandwich club (grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato and crispy pancetta) with chipotle mayo. I would definitely recommend giving this one a try if you're trying to avoid eating deep fried chicken on a daily basis.
