It’s been quite a long time since my last time for D21. I should have posted it earlier but a lot of things got me busy.
The place is quite small and you cannot come for staying to have a chat. It’s just a place where you drop by and buy an ice cream. However, the place is pretty cute and good for taking photos hahaha.
The price is a bit high and also the main thing that is annoyed me is that you have to pay by cash.
In general, the ice cream is good but not like what I expected (especially with the high price).
Very cute icecream store, instagram famous and worthy of it. However, to get the ones you see on the internet, its almost $20 for an icecream. You are paying for the aesthetic; cute macaron designs (totoro, barbapapa etc.) and cereal icecream cones and toppings. The staff there know this is there selling point, and then put the toppings on one cereal at a time with tongs to ensure ur dessert looks good. The icecream is also good, the flavours taste real and not artificial. The only let down is the incredulous price. It stings. But i’d do it for the ‘gram.
Was so hard for me to find this store. The store and the ice creams were so cute!! Ice cream is pricey and kinda messy to eat but sooo worth it. I highly recommend this place to any ice cream lover
Definitely had to try this place out but did not realize that this place was really small. I ordered the Macaron Ice-cream Sandwich (Totoro) with Black Sesame ice cream and toppings of a “little monster” macaron (Luna - Sailor Moon’s cat) and a marshmallow pop (Pokeball). Very cute idea and it was very pretty (definitely Instagram worthy) but for the price it was very expensive (altogether came to almost $25!!!).
The macarons tasted good though (wasn’t overly sweet and it was quite soft but a bit firm as well). The black sesame ice cream was delicious - definitely recommend people to try! The place had a lot of bright lights and was very colourful with holographic tiles on the walls (which adds a nice aesthetic theme). The marshmallow pop was a little too much for me (it was massive and it was literally just a giant marshmallow with a thick layer of sugar - definitely not worth the extra $5.50!). The ice cream sandwich was a bit difficult to eat as it was a hot day so the ice cream melted quickly and because the giant marshmallow pop was on top (it was always in the way whenever trying to bite into the ice cream sandwich but it was too big and heavy to hold).
Overall, it’s pretty expensive for just macarons and ice cream but it is unique and pretty. I definitely recommend the Black Sesame Ice-cream.
Shop is tiny but there isa range of characters you can pick to make yourself a cute icecream sandwhich! I got the cute totoro one with the matching sootball . Was slightly hard to eat but was yum! Though slightly expensive.
Be careful you dont walk past this hole in the wall. Located on Liverpool St in the city, this is perfect when you want dessert big or small. Your icecream is completely customised. What makes this place amazing is the service, you are offered to try any flavour icecream you want. They have such energy and enthusiam, it makes every ice cream experience fun and exciting!
Its actually a small shop next to the party shop on liverpool st. Ordering was confusing as i picked my macaron and she pointed me to the ice cream and asked for money, then told me it wasnt my turn. The lychee sorbet was good with bits of lychee. The macaron was really just for looks and is overly sweet. Its really pricy for mediocre macaron. Would recommend just going for ice cream.
We walked past this macaron ice cream sandwich place last night. The cartoon faces are so cute, attracting not only kids but adults like us!!
It doesn't look like their ice creams were homemade, but bought in bulk. They have cool flavours like sesame and taro.
Price wise, it was very expensive! Even one scoop is 5 dollars (and not even a big scoop). The macaron ice cream sandwiches are $10.90 each, very Instagram worthy but probably not so much for taste.
Macarons? Yes. Ice cream? Yes. Macaron ice creams? Yes YES!
If you like your dessert wedged in between more desserts, and those desserts look like your favourite cartoon characters from your childhood, then let the nostalgia begin!
Recommendations: The Black Sesame soft serve is the BEST!! Have that inside any cartoon character maracon and you're set.

D21 is a newly opened ice-cream parlour on Liverpool Street that makes adorable macaron ice-cream sandwiches. Macaron characters include: Minion, Spongebob, Patrick Star, Mike Wazowski, Doraemon, Cookie Monster, Elmo, Anpanman, Pokeball and others. Macaron ice-cream sandwich – Pokeball w. black sesame ice cream, fruit loops & chocolate chex ($10.90)
This place is absolutely adorable and the ice cream macarons were so good! However, due to the price I don't think I will be coming back anytime soon. 😂😂
I CAN'T EVEN--THIS PLACE IS A DREAM COME TRUE💕🦄😱😍🍦✨
Macaron ice cream sandwiches are a must try, I'm planning to go there asap to try out the fruit loop ice cream cones as well.
It's a cozy little ice cream store and it's a magical placeee
The only downside is the price ($10.95 for the macaron ice cream sandwich) and also I hope they start selling other characters in the future like Studio Ghibli 😍😍😍
We really need more little wonderful things like this in Sydney.

So good!! Quite pricy (10.50, 13.50) but it was really good! The factor selection was good and the cone was so good. It's a little tricky to eat though. I'd recommend this place to anyone !! Expensive but worth it. Such a good pic for the gram too.
If you love macaron ice cream, this is the place to have yummy characters of the day ice cream. D21 is a fun place to pop over. It's a very small ice cream parlour, but worth the visit if you love ice cream!

Really cute place! Hard to find due to the lack of signage, but just look out for the pastel pink decor and fluorescent lighting.
The deal here is that you get to "make your own monster", with characters like Spongebob, Cookie Monster, and the guys from Monsters Inc or Despicable Me, and top it off with yummy edibles like fruit loops and candy. But the real star is the ice cream, they use really rich and flavourful ice cream in their cones, including my favourite new addiction Black Sesame. But they also vanilla and chocolate for the less ventured. Loved it, nice to see more trendy ice cream joints opening up around!
Super super friendly staff!!! Perfect looking Ice Cream:) great Insta Material ❤ 4star rating because of the cone, taste not really good and fresh, but the ice cream and the topings are awesome !!
Very cool and fun concept; the designs are cute and pretty! Ice cream tastes good as well :) just a bit pricey
