Review Ricefields - Sydney

Interesting restaurant with lunch and dinner buffet options. Service's good, staff members are polite and helpful, Food quality is high and the sashimis are fresh and nicely sliced. If you want a good feed with cheaper option, this is the perfect place to go for that price range. It is unfair for some people to compared this place to a 5 star hotel buffet. You'll need to pay doubled / tripled the price for the ambience and wider options. For a small restaurant in the area, I think they are doing a fantastic job. It is right next to the darling square Wilson parking so it is really easy to just drive there as well.

I really really love this place. A wonderful experience. This is a Chinese restaurant you would never see in Sydney. Just choose the dishes you like. all of the dishes I took today were perfectly executed and tasted delicious.

The chicken was unbelievably disgusting . It’s supposed to be a spicy dish but it turn out to be really sweet. It also leaves the bad smell of chicken in my mouth after swallowing. I couldn’t even finish half of it even tho the quantity was very small. This dish actually comes from my hometown Chongqing, but definitely not authentic. Also I ordered spicy thousand year egg, it’s literally as simple as mixing Chili with fermented egg. But the egg itself wasn’t of good quality , it was just the worse meal I had.

Perfect place to enjoy Chinese Sichuan food, unbelievable food choices, immediate dish supply, I don't even spending time on waiting food, definitely worth try again. ✧٩(ˊωˋ*)و✧

the amount of food was too small, and food too oily, it's more than just tasteless, it tastes just awful. there's only one waitress , bad dining experience.

Food is really greasy and expensive. Would not recommend to anyone to be honest. It's also very spciy, so warning those who can't take heat.

Ordered their takeaway online, well packed, and taste delicious, very enjoyable.

The food looks good, but is very oily. Half the dishes on the buffet were stone cold when we went. Not bad value for $20, you'll leave full, but you won't be in a rush to go back.

Tried this new place at Steam Mill Lane. Service was good. A decent amount of seating inside. Decent food with okay portions. Service wasn't perfect as one worker served me to get the food, then another worker accepted my payment, then the person that served me food wanted payment again. There was a lack of communication there between the workers.

Checked out the newly open eateries at Steam Mill Lane. The burger joint was too busy so we ended up at Ricefields where you can pick individual dishes as you fancy. I had the fried rice, sweet and sour pork and curry beef. Very easy to over order but luckily I didn't, so full after these few!

The food was below average, however price was very unreasonable. You could get better option at a reasonable price in market city or Chinatown.

Venue looked pretty cool however the food didn’t match expectations. You could go to Chinatown up the road for a meal half the price and better quality. I had a seafood curry and bbq pork with rice. The bbq pork must’ve been sitting out there for a while because it was dry. The curry was nice however the serving small. They had challenges with the eftpos terminal so there was a queue just to pay. I’d recommend people walk the extra 5 minutes to market city and grab an authentic unpretentious meal.

Tapas style Taiwanese dishes.
Place is very posh, clean and slightly empty when I came in.
Just come to try, and I’m not disappointed at all.
All flavour was good, highlight was the the Japanese tofu with peanuts, and spicy cold chicken.
It’s satisfying dishes but not enough to makes you full.
You will end up spending more than you should because they charge by the portion that you have and because it’s so small you keep adding extra yummy dishes.
Papaya Jelly as dessert is nice to end the meal
