Nama Poké breathes some variety back into poké bowls, offering some extra choices for customisation not seen at other places. In particular we love the different bases available like sweet potato noodles, zoodles and soba; as well as the option to add an onsen egg into the mix. Apart from the extra customisation options, the poké is pretty standard - full of fresh, crunchy and colourful goodness!
I highly recommend their amazing Sesame Salmon poke bowls with potato noodles and brown rice.
This warm generous sized poke bowl is very well seasoned, fresh and has an excellent combination of ingredients which keeps me full and coming back for more.
A small poke bowl store that serves up generous sized poke bowls! The salmon sashimi could be fresher but other than that, super good place for a healthy meal!
Great place for a good healthy meal. Staff are always happy to help with the selection. Ability to order set poke from the menu or design your own. This place gets very popular with the lunchtime crowd, so I suggest that you try to get there early. Love this place!

Awesome & tastiful poke bowls 😘❤️
They serve big sized cut salmon & have handful of topping selections. Love their edamame and wonton crisp!
The best thing about NAMA Poke is their consistency. Every single time I have been the ingredients are always so fresh and of the best quality produce. The service is outstanding and during my busy office hours it's great to be able to pop in and out with my order so quickly regardless of the lines! Definitely the best poke bowl I've had to date.
I was craving poke but unfortunately there are not many places around the Sydney CBD serving up good poke bowls (Sake Jr at Grosvenor Place near my office recently closed down) - so I decided to take a little stroll down the other side of Wynyard to pay a visit to Nama Poke. And I’m glad to report that I may have found a new favourite ! Like most stores, Nama sells pre planned bowls but you also have the freedom to build your own bowl. They have quite an extensive menu, but slightly disappointingly most of the more exciting options such as tuna require an additional charge of 1-2 dollars. Such is life.
You start off with choosing a carbs base, 1-2 protein, up to 4 veggie options, 1 sauce and 1 topping. I had a salmon sashimi white rice bowl customised with corn, edamame, pineapple and flavoured with ponzu shoyu and crispy garlic. It was a great meal for the affordable price of $13, the salmon was fresh and the condiments were well seasoned and delicious. My only small gripe was that you were only allowed one free topping as you could get unlimited sauces and toppings at Sake Jr, but you could easily fix that by paying the nominal fee of 20 cents per additional topping. Would love to come back again and try their kingfish and potato noodles!
Balanced, delicious, generous and fresh.
I tried the Coconut Ponzu Kingfish and I'll definitely be back for more. The toppings and base were cut perfectly so the textures and favours all worked so well together e.g. the pineapple wasn't cut too big so it was just the right hint of sweet rather than overpowering. Highly recommend the potato noodle as it is seasoned with some magical sauce. The sashimi was so generous I found multiple pieces for every bite I had all the way until the end. Finally the fit out and vibe was bright and clean, which matched well with how the food was presented. There is definitely someFIN going on here - as a seasoned poke bowler I give this place 5/5!
Wow! What an amazing Poke. I ordered the sesame salmon and it was on point 👌 everything was super fresh. Portion size was generous and glad I saved some for an afternoon snack. Definitely a must try for salmon lovers 😋
Came here with the hubby. We both enjoyed Nama very much. The fish is somehow very healthy, tasty, with generous proportions and at a reasonable price. Quite hard to find in Sydney. 啲魚非常新鮮美味.
I don't understand why all these people say they love Nama but only gave it 3 stars?? Anyway, I think it deserves an all rounder 5 stars for the freshness, presentation, atmosphere, variety, taste, and, it's not even expensive! You gotta give it a try.. 款式多元化,用料及食材都是新鮮,不時不食,非常喜歡它的海鮮,魚生,菜蔬及沙律,鮮味十足,以特別醬汁作調味,好食 😋😋😋
Really nice poke bowl. Lots of fish and tasty ingredients. Good blend of flavours. Tasted very fresh, good variety of vegetables made it seem healthy too
WOW. I dont even like raw fish, but I'm hooked on NAMA. The irony I know. That's how good this place is.
The 3 of us came here for brunch and each ordered a regular sized Tuna, Salmon & Kingfish bowl. We all had a pick at each other's bowls and were pleased to find they were them all unique and tasty, generous in portions, packed with super fresh ingredients, and more importantly, they're really healthy and affordable- we expected to pay more! Have been craving more of their bowls, but they don't have a store near my work in Central. However, I found them on Deliveroo and have been happily ordering from them since! Hoping they will open up more stores as I can't get enough :)
Nama Poke is a poke store in the CBD that serves fresh and tasty poke bowls, both signature and custom build your own bowls. I came for a long Friday lunch with my colleague, keen for a healthy and delicious meal. We ordered three bowls. The first was the SHOYU KINGFISH with shoyu sauce, pickled carrots, red cabbage, avocado, edamame, seaweed salad & crispy onions. I loved this bowl, the avocado was nice and creamy, while the pickled carrots added an interesting flavour while the crispy onions added a good crunch.
Simple, fresh, delicious and addictive! Nama has their fish delivered fresh to the store every day, where it is broken down into big, juicy chunks of sashimi, ready to be made into nourishing bowls of poke goodness. A touch of edamame here, a drizzle of miso tahini there, and a whole lot of passion from the Nama team, I can safely say that I’ve found the best poke in Sydney! Definitely try my favourite the spicy
Came here on a Wednesday afternoon. Not very busy but had quite a few people in and out.
Been wanting to come here after walking past it and noticed the pink fluro sign on the window. I love healthy eats and poke bowls are right up my alley.
We tried a bit of everything including Salmon, Tofu, Tuna and Kingfish. We had an assortment of bases and toppings including rice, noodles, and zoodles (zucchini noodles), and toppings. There was nothing we didn’t like, the seafood was fresh, and the tofu that we didn’t expect to taste good was one of our favourites!!
And of course who doesn’t like an onsen egg on their bowl 😉
They also stock komchuba that isn’t sugary and overly sweet, which was a perfect accompaniment to our bowls.
I had the Spicy Poached Chicken when I visited Sydney for the weekend and it was excellent. Really fresh and not too heavy! Staff were friendly too
Quite lovely and tasty place to eat.
never been amazed like that before.
keep up the good work
it taste good very very good i could scream it aloud on the top of the mountain!
The ingredients are fresh and they have a great selection of bowls for a healthy lunchtime meal. A great addition to my lunch time eating choices.
Food was great, love that there is zucchini noodles! A little bit of a wait but it’s forgotten as soon as you have you first few mouthfuls. Will definitely be back.
This place has delicious poke with a variety to select from and the freshest fish! It’s also quick and convenient and I’ll definitely be returning for more!
Sesame salmon amazing along with the spicy tuna, highly recommend as it’s convenient, quick to grab and it’s in a nice spot where it’s not too frantic
Great place to eat, nice and friendly staff! The poke balls were really nice! I eat there atleast once a week. Sesame Salmon is my personal fav!
I’m 8 months pregnant and have been craving a good poké bowl for what seems like an eternity, so am absolutely ECSTATIC to have discovered the sous vide poached chicken bowl at NAMA. My lord it hit the spot! And the chicken was so tender! Definitely coming back for the low carb zucchini noodle poké when losing the baby weight too.
Super fresh fish and friendly staff. Love the sesame salmon and if you’re into chilli try the spicy ahi tuna - the tofu is heaps good too!!!
Finally, poke lunch spot near my work! Fresh flavour combinations, perfect for Summer just around the corner. I was lucky and caught their opening special - free drink with every order. Tried the Sesame Salmon, then went back for the Spicy Tuna. Can't decide which is my favourite yet, probably the Spicy Tuna because it has a nice kick to it. Will definitely be coming back with my colleagues.
Had the pleasure of checking out quite a number of menu items, and let me say it's fresh, it's clean and the flavours are amazing!
My favourite dish was the Shoyu Salmon, with seaweed salad, edamame, avocado and red cabbage. Loved the flavours they all married together perfectly. For those wanting something not on the menu, you can customize your own Poke Bowls here! Lots of great choices to choose from with rice, brown rice, zucchini noodles or potato noodles.
They're launching a new menu very soon! Get excited guys :D
Love the Acai here, holds it form for quite a while too! You can also customize your Acai, and breakfast menu will be dropping in a couple of weeks time.
Cutest venue, love the neon sign and the colour scheme is super cute!
Lovely staff and delicious food, worth the stop by for some Poke :)
Nice healthy food with a reasonable price. The menu has a good variety and the bowls are nicely put together to create an appetizing look. I tried large but realized the regular size would've been enough 😊
The shop is not what I expected though. There are only 3 small tables inside and it wasn't being cleaned in between customers. If dine-in option is being provided it is better done properly.
Cool poke bowl place with some eat in tables. A variety of bowls on offer for circa $10 each. Bowl size is good, but could be a little bigger, I was still a bit hungry afterwards. New bowls on special everyday. Menu otherwise can be a bit confusing and no images of bowls on the board. Service is fast and friendly. On a nice sunny day, location is perfect to takeaway and sit out at darling Harbour.
Not the nicest poke I've ever had, but quite fresh and very customisable. Unfortunately not that much seating. I would say a point of improvement would be the flavour of the various meat bases. Would eat there again though!
Finally, poke lunch spot near my work! I have to admit the poke market is a bit saturated right now but this is the best one I've had so far. I was lucky and caught their opening special - free drink with every order. Tried the Sesame Salmon, then went back for the Spicy Tuna. Can't decide which is my favourite yet, probably the Spicy Tuna because it has a nice kick to it. Will definitely be coming back with my colleagues.
Really nice poke bowl. Lots of fish and tasty ingredients. Good blend of flavours. Tasted very fresh, good variety of vegetables made it seem healthy too
I got the wasabi shoyu salmon. It was around 16$ but enjoyed every single bites. So delicious!! And good portion
