Fried veggie salad was great with jasmin rice. But ordered chicken meat topping didnt come. How? Why?
Great food with reasonable price, worth trying
This humble restaurant is truly a little Gem, Conveniently tucked away on Regent Street close to Central Station its easy to get to, offers great customer service and best of all good, clean and traditional THAI~ don't take my word for it go and try them out for yourself you'll be suprised with how good they are
Their fish was super slow. Xihuahua 🐶 almost died from hunger waiting. The lunch noodle menu tasted great and got super value!!! Recommend! The fish comes with vege and rice. Rice was quite lumpy, not a fan. The vege though was beautiful, 11/10 stir fry! The fish has a wonderful ginger sauce I chose to go with rice, I only wish they served way more sauce. Steamed tilapia was big and juicy but very fishy somehow, might be good idea to stick with the fried option.
Stumbled upon Khao Yum wondering towards Redfern station. The three choice with rice option for $10.90 was a bargain. The choices were delicious and they provide complementary sweetened green water. Highly recommend.
Fast service, tasty noodles and good recommendations. Will come back and try the pad see ew. The satay chicken was very delicious, and generous servings, enough for dinner and lunch the next day!
I would give 7 stars if I could!!! Quality delicious food, friendly staff, excellent service, reasonable prices. Incredibly pleased with this place. We come at least once a week. Keep up the great job.
I tried the garlic pepper crispy pork belly and it was good. Crispy, filling and served with steaming rice. I wish there was more than six tiny pieces of crispy pork though. Note: it says $9 on the menu but they were asking me for $10 cash. Their $8 lunch special is cash only btw or they charge a higher price by card. The way it works is you order first and pay at the counter and then seat yourself after. There's also a table close to a power outlet so you can charge your phone while eating.
I had a green chicken curry and it was great. With cashew, it will have been better but it was quite good. Even if I took the dinner home, the service was quick and the staff was pleasant.
It's now, our thai to go in Redfern. Best value in Redfern! I particularly love the creamy chilli basil noodles! But the fried rice and the curries are good as well! Give it a go!
Had the whole barrumundi and the crispy pork. The pork was decent but the highlight was easily the fish, which was incredibly fresh and the black bean sauce goes very well with rice. You can choose from a selection of styles and sauces for the fish. Restaurant is located just opposite redfern station and beside spar supermarket which is a nice plus.
What a great little find! Authentic dishes, timely and pleasant service and moderate prices. Very friendly staff. One of the best massaman curries I've had in Sydney! The chicken larb was also fantastic, nice and spicy (I asked for the "hot" option). Try the Thai milk tea, it's delicious!!
Not as cheap as it used to be (the takeaway lunch is now $10.90) and the portions have skewed towards the rice, but food is still tasty
Probably the most underrated Thai restaurant in Redfern, there aren't that many anyway. They have a lunch special on weekdays for $8.50. But the actual stealer is their whole fish for $12. The price is not the only amazing thing in here. The foods also taste pretty good and the portion is quite big too. If you need food for cheap and big portion. Go here. The only drawback here is they only accept Cash. Sometimes at night, they can do EFTPOS, but always bring cash to be ready.
