Great coffee & the desserts are to die for.
Tried rose lychee crepe and peach oolong crepe with peach oolong tea and apple jasmine drinks. All were delicious and friendly staff. The price is slightly steep for the portion size and just a crepe. Would recommend to try.
This is a small cake shop in Haymarket with a range of pretty cakes for take away and pre-order. My favourites so far are the sweet potato cheesecake and the black sesame mousse. The durian crepe cake is also pretty good if you like durian. The matcha soft serve has a nice matcha taste but a bit icy for me. Overall, nice place for pretty Asian style cakes.
I takeaway'd 3 lovely cakes from Dulcet. I had been wanting to check this place out for a very long time since reading an article on it online. The store front is very small. When I went in, I felt like a child in a candy store, looking at the beautiful desserts. Although the cakes were smaller than I had imagined, the flavours were really nice. None of them were too sweet. The texture was so smooth. My favourite was the galaxy one.
My only criticism is the takeaway boxes. There was too much packaging for 3 tiny cakes (as you can see in the photo). As someone who likes to live sustainably, I was disappointed that my only option was this massive box. I would like to see them take on this feedback.
This place reminds me of koi dessert the beautiful little cakes look very similar. We had the green tea icecream with royal jelly. It had a very strong green tea taste to it. The cake shop is pretty small. It does have seating but for only 2 people from what i can see majority of people do take away.
Don’t miss Dulcet Cakes and Sweets! We were passing by this tiny shop in the heart of Haymarket and decided to give it a try, and it was well worth it ! They have all the ingredients to satisfy ur sugar cravings , from cakes to pastries to milkshakes and ice teas . Definitely worth a try 😊
We stopped at Dulcet last Friday night after having dinner at Mr Chen Beef Noodle next door. Best decision ever! They have a little bit of everything for all tastes. We tried some matcha cakes, small sweets, soft serves and soda floats... everything was delicious and not overwhelmingly sweet *win* Can’t wait to go back!
I LOVE their store in Burwood so I was so excited that theyve opened up a new store in Haymarket which is closer to home!
My biggest dilemma when I got there was trying to decide which cake to try because they all look so beautiful! I settled on a Mango sago chick, coconut cup and the matcha Hokkaido cheesecake along with a couple drinks and soft serves.
I have to say the matcha Hokkaido cheesecake was amazing and my fave! The chick and coconut cup were so cute and had a very unique flavour combination. The soft serves were creamy and not too sweet which was perfect and satisfying after dinner.
The shop itself is very small but nicely decorated so if you want to stop by and pick up some cakes for home its the perfect place to go! Im definitely going to be back for more!
Dulcet has some of the most beautiful desserts aesthetically and in taste in Sydney by a mile. From ice creams to opera cakes I couldn’t fault flavour or presentation at all! We had the matcha and hot kid ice creams, black currant and lychee mousse cake, matcha opera cake and the galaxy chocolate mousse cake. My personal favourite of the day was definitely the hot kid ice cream and the galaxy cake! Although it’s super hard to choose because they were all delicious!
I really liked the food. It was really nice and it was just all really amazing however I don’t like how small the outlet is. There wasn’t any room to sit and stuff but other than it was really nice I do recommend it
Amazing little shop with great variety of cakes and drinks. Stuff really helpful. i have ordered the matcha chestnut mousse and strawberry milk. Both light yet with well balanced texture and taste. Highly recommend
What a cute spot for dessert. Unique flavours and so beautiful!!! Service was extremely helpful and so friendly!!! The drinks were delicious and great for photos 😉 the soft serve 🍦 was so refreshing and the cakes were just perfect 👌 not too rich but so delectable ❤️❤️ An absolute must !!!
Haymarket is a popular area for chinese food... but unexpectedly, there is a little one cake shop with the cute decoration and cute desserts🤤 I love their musan king cake (durian crepe), super tasty! The galaxy cake also nice, inside got berries and chocolate! Who’s ignore for that?! yummm
Dulcet Cakes & Sweets is a boutique patisserie café that offers you every sweet dream you can imagine. Dulcet prides itself in hand-making everything they possibly can with love and integrity. . Dulcet Cakes & Sweets is located in Prince Centre (near UTS Insearch and Market City) in Haymarket. We arrived around 7:15pm to enjoy a couple sweets and drinks from Dulcet but they were sold out of the Matcha Mille Crepes. Head there earlier to avoid dissapointment or you can order the Matcha Mille Crepe online (did I hear a special occasion is coming up?)
I think most people who visit Dulcet cafe face the same dilemma – which one of those exquisite slices to order? In fact, it took me over 15 minutes to have finally placed the order, thanks to the patient staff who kindly swapped my order when I changed my mind a couple of times. Dulcet Cakes & Sweets was founded by two passionate ladies who have been professionally trained and have worked with some of the very best in the business. Juno, who is the soul of the kitchen, has been working as a pastry chef in one of the best fine dining restaurants in town – the Quay restaurant. Vivienne, cake designer, is offering clients custom designed and personalised cake experiences, for every celebration and event.
Their desserts are a wonderful blend of Asian ingredients with western style desserts. It can be a mixed experience if you do not know what your prefered tastes are. I am not a sweet tooth, in fact, I find most desserts too sweet for me to eat more than a bite, however, I would highly recommend newcomers try their cheesecakes and layered crepes. They're relatively cheap for their servings, mildly sweet and creamy; I'll definitely add this to my places to visit after my classes.
If you're looking for a new cake shop to visit in the CBD area, this is a great choice. Everything looks great and taste even better. The Galaxy mousse is a must!
Their desserts are indeed quite delicate. But the taste was not as good as I thought. Maybe my expectations were high. I tried the peach Earl Grey, the galaxy and the milk ice cream. Among those I loved the peach one most, the galaxy was too sweet for me.
