Wonderful food with great staff . Very friendly

Wide selection of foods, quality is a little cheap but that's expected for an "all you can eat" experience. Atmosphere is with a large fish tank for the kids and sports on screens up top for the punter. Bar staff are always friendly and prices are reasonable. All things considered a good stop for lunch or dinner, would return again

I try to go to J&L Family Restaurant whenever I am in Tamworth. It is great for any occasion, with room for large families, or a quiet meal for two. The buffet has a large selection of delicious roast meats and vegetables, seafood, salad, Chinese dishes, and desserts. I love the fact that there is no msg in the Chinese food. All the staff are friendly and provide efficient service. Definitely value for money and I have a great experience every time.

Great value! Its not 5 star dining, probably closer to 3 star, but when 80 dollars stuffs the whole family you cant go wrong! There was a young asian man who was extremely accomodating, always smiling and very polite which took this experience to 4 stars for me...would go again for sure!

I've been to a few buffets and this is by far the worst. All the food is swimming in sauce and looks completely unappealing. The spaghetti looks like someone threw up in it. Everything looks an uncomfortable shade of brown. The calamari are swimming in oil and inedible. Oysters are tough and disgusting. The only way you could enjoy this place is if your only criteria was that you could stuff as much disgusting food down your gullet as possible. In fairness the deserts look palatable but good luck getting to them after a mouthful of the food here leaves you feeling uncomfortably sick. Worse than forster bowling club. Avoid at all costs, doesn't even have the decency to be cheap. Worst of all ruined my night.

We used to always go there with family... No more....the food has gone downhill big time....especially the roasts.... We have complained to the owners and club... But nothing has changed. We have done mainly dinner, but recently did lunch..... It was dreadful.... The Chinese food was also very average compared to what it used to be. Would not recommend due to quality of food.... Won't ever be going back. ...

When I think of 'Buffet' I think of the J&L Family Restaurant. My family and I have enjoyed a meal (or 2) on many different occasions with nothing but good things to say about both the quality of the food and the service. The staff have always been wonderful! I have yet to make any complaints. Thanks J&L for yet another great family meal!!

This is a family Buffet, the food us fresh but you need to be a member or signed in by one to use the restaurant that is above the services club. You can not just meet friends and go to this place. Food variety is ok, and importantly the sea food is fresh and tasty.
