We were group of five people and each of us ordered a bit of snack which included toasties, coffee and hot chocolates. The thing that stood among all the things we ordered was the hot chocolate. It was right amount of sweet with appropriate creaminess in the milk. The chocolate flavour was prominent and i would say it is one of the best Hot chocolates i have drank in Australia. The only issue with the restaurant was their service speed which was extremely slow. The wait made us anxious but i would say the hot chocolate was worth the wait.
Decent, locally sourced, healthy options - fantastic location and reasonably priced. A good spot to drop in for lunch and/or coffee and watch the fisherman at work

The Wharf Locavore in Tathra is one of the most beautiful coffee bar/gallery/locavore that we’ve been to. Excellent coffee and food, and incredible location and views. Fast, efficient, and friendly service, and amazing local artworks and produce to also enjoy/consider. Next time you’re in Tathra, make sure you check them out – it’s a hidden unexpected gem and I’m pretty sure you’ll be glad you made the effort.
Hard to describe the meal at this cafe but just to say, the meal is unique and wonderful. Previous reviews suggest that waiting time is a bit long. If you consider this and are prepared to wait for your lunch meal, you wont be disappointed. The view from over the wharf is stunning.
Delicious large assortment of fresh pastries, a vegetarian brunch bowl, fresh juices, smoothies and coffee. Friendly, accomodating and knowledgeable staff and welcoming interior. They work long hours to provide the freshest and delicious range of wholesome foods available on their menu and go above and beyond to even serve you out on the wharf when fishing. Gluten free options are also available. We always come here when in Tathra and highly recommend everyone do the same, a must when in town.
