I celebrated my 30th birthday here on the weekend! Service from the beginning has been exceptional! Daniela the events manager helped me every step of the way from the details to how I wanted the room setup, to recommending suppliers, helping with my food order and being there on the night! I cannot thank Daniela and her team enough for their efforts. I had the best time and definitely recommend Watergardens Hotel to anyone looking to have a function here. I could rave on all day about how beautiful and perfect the venue and staff were. If anyone is looking for advice regarding this venue I would not hesitate to assist! I just had my daughters 21st at the Watergardens Hotel and it was fantastic! ! Its was a beautiful function room, with an a joining heated outside area for any smokers. The food was amazing to the delight of our guests. We experienced wonderful friendly customer service from the staff, to ensure that we had a stress free evening. I cannot compliment the Watergardens Hotel enough for making my daughters 21st a memorable one.

I recently celebrated my 30th Birthday, a Tropical theme, at the Watergardens Hotel in the Sports Bar Function Room. It was an absolute success, I've had many people raving about my event, Daniela and her team were fantastic and a pleasure to work with! I could not ask for more with the level of detail that went into the customisation and personalisation of my birthday. They were all very professional and accommodating to my event, as well as being able to assist with recommendations of additional equipment and suppliers. Since my 30th, I have a few family and friends looking to use the Watergardens Hotel for their next function. A great and affordable package. I cannot thank them enough for their excellent work and effort made.

Been here many times and have found that lately each time there has been something different to try and food has been excellent for the price.
Good buffet, nice atmosphere. Good buffet and reasonable variety, not crowded ( when I went on a Monday night) which I like and nice atmosphere. The buffet could maybe do more with a bigger meats selection and a bit more seafood other than crumbed calamari. But the chocolate pudding with chocolate sauce was yummy!
Better Then I Expected. We had a buffet lunch today, must say the queuing up to be seated was off putting, and lacked class. Must admit though ,the food and standards of hygiene were surprisingly good. The play area, also was a definite winner. The service wasn't too bad either. Would definitely go back.
You get what you pay for. Overall the buffet from here is average. There are a range of different foods and because the place is generally pretty full the food keeps on getting replaced.
There's a childrens play room and child friendly food, which I think is really good for people with young children.
However, as a couple without children there isn't that much to attract us. The food is ok, but not great, but for $25 per person you can't really complain. However, for that money if I went elsewhere I'd be able to get a specific main and desert of better quality.
Buffffeeettttt!!!!. Lots to choose, lots of kids type of simple food, staff smiled and were quick to remove plates, play ground was indoor and good for kids under 5. Dont think this is any high roller place, simply a family or seniors hangout to get fed and go home with money left over on a small budget. But i would reccomend it every chance I could get. Those bad reviews are generally people that are buffet haters but get invited on someone elses tab!
Not bad for the price. For $25 all you can eat, this place is really great value even if the food isn't anything out of the ordinary. I've been here probably 4 or 5 times, and it has always had friendly staff and a good selection of food. The best thing about it is ending the night in their tasty apple crumble and free coffee.

Here we are for Thursday lunch. Booked ahead for 2.2. Arrived just before 12 and there is a friendship tour here of about 50 or 60 retiree age people. You think having a two year old we would be near the indoor playground. No!! Right next to the noisy friendship tour but thankfully on request they did switch us to the otherside right next to the playground. Food selection looks good just had some chips, veg, very nice roast potatoes, meatloaf and roast beef but oh no the friendship tour has blocked my path back to my table. I see my wife and son but can not get to them Finally worked my way back to enjoy the small plated food I got. Don't even think of getting a drink yet. The plates are about size of a small pizza. The wife went to get here selection ten mins ago. I think she is lost in the crowd!! I've been here before and the food is ok. The thing to remember if you come here ask ahead if they have any tours coming and stay away if they do. Personally I prefer the crown casino buffets but this is not bad. Prices are certainly reasonable.
Big playground for the kids. Mediocre buffet food with pastas and sauces that can be tossed together onsite. Great place to let the kids loose in the big enclosed playground. Very popular place for families and the locals, can get very busy.

Buzzing atmosphere on Friday nights. Snack food was OK but can improve. Both duck spring rolls and squid came with chips. Would prefer a salad, Asian coleslaw or pickled vegetables to cut through the oil. Spring rolls were tasty but could have been crispier. Beer was good as was the company 😁
Loved it! Affordable, great quality food and a nice big space. There's an awesome selection of cuisines.
As feedback, I'd suggest not having the smoking room connected to the buffet as when the door open and closes, all the smoke comes in.
We'll definitely be back!
We celebrated our daughter's 18th Birthday in the function room. Carmen, Mikaela and the staff were amazing on the night and made sure we were happy with everything throughout the night. The food was delicious and the room was perfect for our night. The sound and projector were also easy to use. Thanks to everyone who helped make it a special night!! We are forever grateful!
Was very good, everyone had a great time for a Ninety Birthday. The food was excellent everyone had a great time, the staff helped greatly too, in the set up.

Better to telephone and book in advance, specially on weekends and public holidays just to ensure they are not booked out.
They are opened everyday for lunch and diner. Lunch from 12 to 2pm and diner Mon-Thurs from 6 to 8.30pm and Fri TO Sunday from 6 TO 9pm. On Monday nights kids eat free (12 years and under).
The food is excellent and there are a range of options from Asian, Italian, roasts, salads, soups and also several options in the dessert buffet.
The prices are affordable and they have different prices for seniors also. and it has easy access for wheel chairs and for people with disability. Staff is very friendly and always happy to assist and inform.
This is definitely a place I look forward to go back often and bring friends and family with me.
Variety of food, dessert and seafood to choose from. Amazing cocktails and mocktails to try. We visited in a group and we still had drinks to finish after the 2 hour booking time. We were kindly offered to use the conference room area that had no bookings. The staff amd the manager on shift was absolutely amazing. Thanks you so much for the wonderful service and we cannot wait to visit the venue again.
