A wonderful place , excellent seating for the solo diner whether communal or table for oneself with good parking
Lovely service and knowledgable staff
Coffee and tea assortment varieties extensive and coffee excellent!
Prices fair and portions were good
Their gourmet or signature burgers and hot rolls and breakfast egg dishes were absolutely wonderful fresh and well prepared
Thank u!!
Was here for a function at the back of the cafe. It was nice and had some area with green carpet (?fake grass) for the little kiddies to play. The food was finger food but most of them are pretty good! The sliders and the ?chicken or fish deep fried was nice. Chai latte was ok.
Real 3.7 out of 5. I was out this way for a meeting and popped in on spec to this bright, airy and modern cafe. The look from outside was most pleasing so I popped in. The rest - the main game - was good too. The cafe was a beacon on a grim, dull rainy day like today. It’s hard to imagine a brighter experience. My long black here was nice. It was a solid competently made brew that I enjoyed. The soup and coffee/toastie muffin deals looked reasonable here on the on table specials card so a return visit is inevitable. A good place, I reckon.
Great cafe for children with the upstairs play area. There is nothing better than enjoying a good quality hot coffee while the kids play. The food is great and staff are always helpful and friendly!
Went here for lunch the other day. It is a very cute cafe especially with the little dog bowl out the front that says “dog parking”. I ordered the SC salad with lamb and my friend got the breakfast greens. I usually don’t order these kind of things but lately my friends have been & I usually end up eating theres😂. The salad was delicious & so filling. I was full for the rest of the day & it didn’t even taste like a salad which is obviously a bonus! It had plenty of meat & halloumi for me.
Been to salted caramel twice and i love it! such a cute cafe in templestowe which even has a special dog parking for ur dog 😍😍 first time i went i got the Sriracha & chorizo eggs benny gluten free 🍳🥑🥔 and then i got the gluten free “classic benny” which has sautéed baby spinach, poached eggs, shaved cheese, bacon, potato hash browns and hollandaise sauce to top it 🤤🥓👌🏼🤩🍳 great coffee and friendly service! 👌🏼
Super fresh and yummy food here! Really quality ingredients used; can taste the different. I also got a green juice which was lovely as well; however quite pricey. Coffees where okay. This is corn fritters here and they were 10/10 but other meals we ordered were great too. Nice cafe, would recommended.
so glad a place like this exists in doncaster with beautiful artistically presented food with plenty of vegetarian/vegan and healthy options! thank you! such a nice space too for large groups or a solo coffee
i visited this cafe several times for brunch and lunch and i love the ambience and the interior. It seems that there're totally 70 seats, including outside area and upstairs with a kids play area. I love the food and coffee, being served with great quality. Once you go there, you will love it.
Great coffee and brunch menus. This cafe has kids areas and baby changing area. This is what mums need for coffee break and brunch too....
Love this cafe in eastern area... well done team.. great foods & service too.
An absolutely fantastic cafe! 😊 The food is different and delicious, the coffee is perfect and there is an adorable kids play area upstairs - with tables - so that parents can enjoy their meals while letting the kids play! The staff are always friendly and happy to help, so overall - a good one to try! ☕️
A beautiful little cafe with a good ambiance. The menu is quite varied for a cafe, which gives you options for both breakfast and lunch. Really enjoyed the food that we ordered. Also, the food presentation is quite tempting.
Really enjoyed my time here last week!! So so handy having the upstairs kids area separate to the downstairs. The customer service is always very friendly and welcoming and not to mention the breakfast menu 😍 wowza. Definitely bringing my family and friends back here..... i’ll be a regular for sure 😝👅
I have visited this cafe a few times for lunch, brunch and coffee and liked the decor and the ambience of the place. It is unusual for a cafe to have a play area indoors for kids, while Mum can watch and chat
The food is excellently presented and does taste good.
The coffee is great and the service okay and there is ample parking
I think the lower rating was from a shaky start
It is good to have a place like this in Templesowe/Doncaster with an interesting and varied menu
Really enjoyed the all day brunch, delish coffee and children's gorgeous play area. Could definitely use some baby-proofing touches like a gate preventing little ones from escaping and fleeing down the hallway to steep staircase and removal of the metal on the edges of the play area stairs. Overall highly recommended.
A great cafe which has amazing Proud Mary coffee and delicious, high quality food. It has a great atmosphere, and in the upstairs area there is a kids area so parents can eat and drink coffee while the kids are playing. Keen to try out more stuff from the new menu.

Been here a few times now. Some of the usual fare to eat, but also some really interesting tasty treats. Good coffee and muffins, freindly staff and good and tasty menue.
There are two sections to this cafe.
Upstairs are a kids area where your children can run amuck where downstairs is more of the casual coffee grown up area.
Food - is not to bad. This restaurant is a fusion mix of Koreans and western works colliding.
Our meal was a udon with egg on a piece of toast.
The drink I had was not very good, some turmeric juice concoction ...
Will come again
This must be a newly opened cafe at Macedon Square, just behind the Carltex station on Manningham street. First impression from the cafe name was it must be a dessert place centres around salted caramel. It is a lovely cafe with tasteful interior design and relaxing jazz music in the background. However, after perusing the menu and the food on display at the counter, there is not a single food item with salted caramel! Strange? Maybe the name was referring to the wood colour of the tables and floorboard. It's nice to know they use Proud Mary coffee beans which is one of our local favourite. Looking at the menu, there is some Korean influence. We ordered the Smoresee - misu and scone with coffee. Quite good. Saw some of the brekky dishes served at the table next to us, looks amazing. Will return to try the savoury dishes if Im around Templestowe or even just for coffee.
Love their soy chai latte and how it's served. Great decor and ambience, smells nice. Friendly service. Wish I live or work closer to the area. Hopefully can come back to try their coffee and food next time :)
Lovely cafe where there's a small play area for the little ones while grown ups sipping up their life-saviour. They have great coffee made from Proud Mary coffee beans. There's also a great range of Sweet and savoury nibbles to go with your coffee. Will definitely come back to try some dishes on their menu!
Delicious! So many things on the menu I want to try! The blueberry muffins are to die for :)
Great for kids too, cute little breakfast menu for them!
Food was nice but service was slow and disorganised. Sat for a few minutes before we had to get the staffs attention for a menu. Twice coffee and food came to us when we hadn't ordered yet. Will come back to try more of the menu and hoping the service has improved.
Great new cafe. Loving the coffee and the food is fantastic. Looking forward to returning next week. Will try new menu items next they look 👀 amazing 😉
This brand new cafe in Templestowe Lower has a lovely decor, welcoming vibe & friendly staff. The coffee was strong with a good flavour. We had the chili scrambled eggs (chili on the side) with added potato rosti. It was super yummy, filling and delicious! Plenty of mushrooms & eggs (maybe a bit light on the bacon). Definitely will be back to support this new local business.
Lovely new cafe quietly nestled in Templestowe Lower Macedon Square.
The small but cleanly decked out design of its interior with light wood bench seatings, and communal table made it stand out from the crowd. Love the offering of a warm blanket for those sitting outside.
I did not get a chance to see their menu as I took up their special mini eggs benny with coffee set offer at the door which turned out great.
I was also delighted to try their variety sandwiches, bakes and sweet pastries on display.
Staff were warm and helpful. Surely a welcome addition to this leafy & tranquil neighbourhood.

Truffle fried rice, truffle scrambled eggs and truffle pasta are so rich in flavor and high quality. Portion is so generous and price is reasonable. Coffee is great too. The menu has a good variety of Western and Asian dishes. The homemade cake are also impressive. The courtyard is kids friendly and good for private party. Good experience overall. Will go back to try other dishes!.
I’ve been going to The Salted Caramel for years. I absolutely adore the staff, the owners, the coffee and the food is sensational. My favorites are the pancakes & the breakfast greens together with the almond mocha. Highly recommend it!!!!
Friendly, attentive staff. Good coffee. Very pleased that there was no loud music playing. Great place for business brunch. Good parking available nearby.
Great little cafe with wide variety of food.

A lovely local fusion experience. The menu is well thought of with details to enhance the Korean or Japan flavours into modern western style food. Coffee needs to be served faster but the quality is there. Definitely try their single origin.
