Had the Big brekkie and substituted items for a pescatarian friendly meal! The Scrambled eggs were amazing, Halloumi a tad oily but hey, cheese is always good, Smoked Salmon portions were generous and yummy! A friend had the lamb and rosemary sausage that came with the meal & claimed it was AMAZING! Served with grilled mushrooms and sourdough, this meal hits the spot and We'll definitely be back! A banana milkshake was paired with brekky, and although it tasted like the syrup version (and had traces on the glass), the size of the glass alone could indicate a meal by itself! And it tasted pretty close to the real deal. YUM!
Went with 4 adults 4 kids, very busy but good service. Food was plentiful & tasty, favourite was haloumi eggs. Coffee great & kids milkshakes large & delicious. Pancakes also very good with choices for toppings.
Love cafe mach! Very reasonably priced. Homey food. Chicken snitz is my favourite. Staff are lovely and very accommodating. Had an issue with a meal once and the owner apologised to us and gave our next meal on the house. Very lovely place for a catchup with friends!
I have been here countless number of times over many years and keep coming back. It has a good vibe, friendly service and good food. It was renovated about a year ago and has a good feel about it. The coffee is good too. Plenty of parking around
Food was delicious, however waited a very long time (40+ min) for it. The coffee was great- recommended. The bread was really hard, don't know why it's so hard to get nice bread? The staff were friendly and really attentive. Overall, it was a good breakfast.

The best local cafe in my area. Each time I visit, there's always a warm buzz. Friendly staff, locals reading the paper, mum's dropping in for a break after the school drop off, people in suits coming in and out for takeaway coffee. The cafe attracts a wide audience. They have a standard menu and also a specials menu which changes daily.
My favorite dishes on the standard menu include:
1) Grilled Barramundi with roast potatoes, carrots, asparagus, salad greens and lemon -> such a warm and hearty dish that's not only filling but healthy!
2 ) Chicken Parma ->Thick slab of chicken, juicy and tender. Very nice.
3) Beef Lasagna -> This one is also hearty and could fall for a homemade dish you would cook up for a nice Saturday dinner. The flavors are perfect π

A great place to start the morning with a brekky and coffee. This place is always packed with regular customers and the staff are really friendly. I always come here to have an early breakfast from their discounted 7am-10am breakfast menu. Upgrade your coffee from a regular to a large mug for just an extra 50cents and a big breakfast for just $10. Highly recommend this place if you want good breakfast at a reasonable price.

This established traditional suburban cafe in Templestowe Lower Macedon Sq had kept to a good standard of providing friendly, helpful and good flow of service at the table.
Treated myself to a good cup of coffee and a deliciously presented lunch meal. Enjoyed the well prepared fish, wonderful mixed salad and grilled vegetables which had a very good serving size. Good to take a look at the display of bakes and pastries further inside the shop. Tried the big Caramel Butterscotch muffin which was moist and super yummy too.

Nice and clean cafe. Friendly staff. Serves were big. Lamb salad was delish. Outdoor seating with shades. Will bring my dogs next time. Iced coffee was a tad too strong. Will certainly come again
Love the place! Staff is so friendly and down to earth, the cafe has that family vibe that a local cafe should have. Food has a great variety and overall good quality. Coffee is the classic Jasper flavor and very consistent. Strongly recommend anyone around the area to come here regularly.
Coffee is consistently good. Chicken focaccia is pretty good too. I'm not a fan of the vegetable focaccia. I'm still to try the breakfast menu.
I love this place :) when we lived closer this was a regular place for us to go for breakfast. We have moved away but this place was lovely :)

One of the last cafes that still knows what service is.. The coffee is great, they can do good eggs Benedict which seems so difficult for places to do these days. And the service is always decent. Reasonably priced too.
Popular Gem. Introduced to here by a business assoc. EXCELLENT coffee!! Friendly staff and great food. Just had a 'sticky bun' but all the food going to other tables looked ok. Will be back for something more substantial.

Liz & Rod love it.. Caffe Mac is our go-to coffee, breakfast and lunch place. Steve runs a tight ship and he values his customers. Steve's coffee is made with love and so is the coffee that is made by anyone that he trains. The coffee is consistently good each and every time and the staff are friendly but not overbearing. The service is terrific and you really do feel like a part of the place.
Truly a gem in templestowe.... been herea countless number of times in the last three years and have never been disappointed...top notch coffee and good food. Service is very warm and friendly and the ambience is more for my hangount spot. Talk to Steve about their coffee and he leaves you spellbound with his passion for the bean. Definitely worth my time and money.

Went to lunch today, the samlon and the greek chicken and lamb tastes soooooooo good! πππ The breakfast options are sooo good as well, the smashed avo is just soo good as well!
