Great location, great food, great price and great staff! I really liked it. I have been there a couple of times and would definitely try it again. They offer a variety of salads and sandwiches as well as a high-quality charcoal chicken which is perfect to take home as a family dinner.
Have been there for the last few months now and especially like the souvlaki. The price is great too, considering the fact that they use the Bannockburn free range chicken which is processed without any chemicals. I rarely come out of the shop without the creamy scalloped potato and one of my kids favourite is the fried rice. According to my friends who have been there before, the place is much cleaner than with the previous owner. The staff is very friendly too and always greet you with a smile.
Another Sunday night, too busy (or lazy) to shop so off to Macedon for takeaway roast chicken, creamy scalloped potatoes and a salad, all for $26, problem solved.
What makes this place different is the super friendly and engaging staff, particularly the Asian couple who seem to there most times I go.
While they never seem to run out of cooked Bannockburn chickens, the potatoes and salads seem to run out around 7pm.
PS I haven't seen a more consistently clean chicken shop.
Great food and great service - well priced and always consistent especially the gym packs , for $13 it is a lot of food , would definitely reccomend
