Review Threeways Roadhouse Dining - Tennant Creek

Well, this place is safe and accommodation is clean. It's not a deluxe stay by any means but you're in the outback and it will do. Not a lot of bugs and hot water for a shower. No cell reception though.

Stayed in the motel for the first and last time. Disgusting! Floors dirty, sheets and blankets stained, no chair, hangers, hooks or towel rail, and the heater/AC was broken. I’ve been in the army so I can tolerate “basic” but this place is terrible! Save the $145 and sleep in you car, at least you know where that’s been.

This park is very run down, the shower and toilet facilities are filthy, the pool is foul and green and not able to use fuel card or Gyday parks fuel discount even though it is a Shell. They had no $5 notes change for a $20 note, instead gave us a handful of coins for a $42 a night stay the most we have ever paid on our travels ( the most being $35 or free if you eat there). Also the two males at the service station counter had no idea on what they were doing or to be honest what day it was. So much potential yet so not utilised at all

Room was basic but accommodating. Food was mostly good. Don't order the Scotch. The biggest let down by far was communication and staff. With 4/6 staff being rude and dismissive. This unfortunately included management.

Threeways a place pretty basic No grass Old Donga accommodation at premium prices Pool going green Simply the owners want to move on and do something different that was 18 months ago. Diesel now dearer then the Barkly homestead Food pretty good if you don't want to cook Licenced Bar 4 starts for location.

Amazing three way roadhouse convenient accommodation and refreshing pool to relax and chill after long drives. Middle of your travels. Easy trip to Alicesprings or darwin. Tennant creek fuel and groceries services station cheapest in whole district

We stayed here on our road trip to Darwin with two dogs. Would recommend to anyone traveling with pets. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and air conditioned. The staff were friendly and the pool was very refreshing after a day on the road. The pub served great home cooked meals and had relaxed atmosphere.

Not what I was expecting. Food could be better with some effort - hamburger only had meat patty, lettuce and tomato... not even any sauce added, beetroot or grilled onion. Room 17 looked like an update had not been done for 20years. Linen under average quality. TV with no channels.

The most disgusting dirty rundown place I have ever been to! The Roadhouse is owned by an arrogant man who appears to always be drunk and his wife who apparently lives on the Gold Coast but run by him and his rude German girlfriend who thinks her dog is allowed to run riot in the roadhouse including in the kitchen where food is being prepared and cooked! I was there for a week and saw the dog bite two people including a child! The televisions don't work in the rooms but do in the bar and the manager's accommodation! The pool is green! Camp kitchen? lol The backpackers who work there are treated very poorly and their living conditions are disgusting!

Threeways has the most friendly and enthusiastic staffs! Yesterday our car broke down and everyone helped us immediately! Without them our travel time would’ve ended in a huge disappointment, but instead it changed into a memory we will always laugh about! Thanks for all the help and the funny and lovely evening. As an extra they have really good food and the cutest little puppy on earth

Great place to stop overnight, staff are great, friendly, can't say much about the bloody cockys (galas)

My partner and I walked in just before 9pm. Been driving a road train all day, tired and hungry, all 3 staff members couldn't be bothered lifting their heads to even say hello. We were looking at menu as sign back down the road said open 6am-11pm. Staff member says better hurry up were about to close. So we decide against cooked dinner as not welcome anyway so will just grab sandwiches take away. At about 9:15 another male trucker came in and was given a very welcoming reception by a female staff member and ordered a cooked meal without any hesitation. It was the same female staff member that was just as rude to us over a year ago when we passed through. For such an iconic part of Australia it is just shameful that the staff can be so rude. Not impressed!

Normally first or last stop from Darwin. Camping amenities cheap clean and friendly.

It's too expensive and not very experienced in customer service.

Paid $125 for a DELUXE cabin only to be given a dirty dog box with brown water, was then offered another with 2 single beds, again classed as DELUXE. I wouldn't put my pets in that place. Staff extremely rude and not helpful or professional in anyway. I was told they don't do refunds...what a joke. I know this is the outback but really threeways was nothing but a shit hole! NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL
Lou Donoghue
