Went in to get a couple of pies for lunch. The pies all had labels of what type of pies they were in front of them. I asked the guy behind the counter for a steak and kidney pie. He said they're sold out. I then asked for a different pie. He said that they're sold out too. I asked him what pies are
[Reduced rating by 3 as my wife got food poisoning from her pie] Very nice but small stew (chunky) pepper pie but average coffee. It's good to see compostable takeaway cups but where is the compostable lid? Pastry on pie is a bit underdone. Paid with credit card.
Wonderful food, all home made, friendly owners and a very laid back simple atmosphere. Every time I stop for lunch in Tenterfield, I’ll be eating here.
We’d stopped in Tenterfield for coffee before and were disappointed so we chose this place after checking some reviews.
Two piccolo’s were ordered $9 after longer than expected we were served very strong brew with poorly textured milk!
I returned them and was told they were double shot piccolo cof
A great pie. Fantastic pastry. The filling was just like my mums savoury mince. The coffee was really good too!
Really good coffee, great pastries and a chill vibe. Well frequented by locals which is always a good sign. As the town was our designated coffee stop, was really pleased we stumbled onto this place. It's been inked onto our map.
Went in to ask if they did anything gluten free as I am coeliac, they had the option of a quiche or gluten free bread for sandwiches, when asked if there was anywhere in town that would have a bigger range the man behind the counter was extremely rude. I have never had someone be so blatantly horrib
Great pies and coffee I always look forward to their yumo unquie pies or burgers when I'm passing through. Always good service by the staff and the owner is a down to earth character and likes to call a spade a spade and a very likeable bloke. I've tried pies from the north coast to the tablelands
