WOW � this place hands down does the best hot chips I have ever eaten in my life! I also had a bite of my nieces vege burger � and I will def be getting this next time come which possibly could be tomorrow � � best burger and fish and chips place on the Gold Coast or should I say the world � def a must try � � �

Took my Mum here for her birthday lunch and was so impressed with the food and the service. Everything was delicious, even the kids meals, which can often feel like an afterthought. We were given complimentary potato scallops and some fried squid as there was a bit of a wait (totally understandable, we had a large order). To top it off, when my mum heard there was an oyster happy hour later that evening she asked if she could possibly be allowed a couple at that price because it was her birthday and was allowed. Such great service made a casual lunch feel really special. 100% recommend and will definitely be back.
I had dinner with a group of friends at the Inky Squid and everything was amazing Jess was so lovely and helpful and the food was amazing! The best homemade potato scallops I’ve ever had and the calamari was to die for! Can’t wait to go back again and try the burgers! Congratulations on your amazing new fish and chippery!!
Had a delicious meal at The Inky Squid this week. Beautiful fresh seafood and salad and satisfyingly crispy chips 😍. Loved the mix of traditional fish and chip shop choices with some great options like local Haloumi. Squid and seaweed was exceptional - such a great combo of flavour and crunch. Definitely back for more again soon.

Excellent chips and they are GLUTEN-FREE. Hot and crispy on the outside, and melt-in-the-mouth on the inside. We have had three lots so far, and they have been absolutely consistent. My son also reports that his lamb burger was excellent. Highly recommend supporting this new local business.

Lovely crispy batter on the very meaty John Dory. Salt and pepper squid with seaweed went down a treat in our house. It is great to have somewhere good so close by.

Divine! Had a delicious selection of fish, calamari, prawns, potato scallops, deep fried haloumi & two varieties of chips at a family lunch gathering. Our order came with delicious side salads.
The lovely Jess and her talented partner Ben greeted us warmly and made us feel so welcome. Their colleague Kent was also very pleasant and obliging.
My husband really enjoyed the local Tweed brewed non alcoholic beers.
We had an awesome time and our meals were memorable. Highly recommend.
I am gradually getting through the menu and everything I have had is just outstanding.
1. Chips are just so crisp and delicious.
2. Blue eye Trevall crumbed. Amazing.
3. Prawns. Out of 2 kg there wasn’t one with a soft spot. So fresh and tasty.

Thanks to the Inky Squid Terranora for the $50 voucher I won! Dinner was delicious! Sweet potato chips, burgers, fish and prawns cooked perfectly and Loved those deep fried pineapple fritters!

We first heard about The Inky Squid with Tweed United Football Club (TUFC ⚽️), my daughter won Club player of the week and was rewarded with a gift voucher to Inky Squid.
Since redeeming the voucher we have been back numerous times, with the emphasis on the Tuesdays $12 burger special. Delicious (and HUGE) burgers, and also just a great small business who gives back to the local community 👌🏼

This place isn’t just your average fish & chip shop & I’m very fortunate that this is my local. The owner is a seriously lovely guy & has great passion for food which is obvious when you taste the product. The chips are consistently excellent - possibly the best I’ve ever had. The burgers I’ve tried are also fantastic - probably the healthiest burgers that you’ll find anywhere...and there’s GF options too. I can highly recommend the vego burger - it’s a standout. The GF fried stuff is definitely worth a try too. Super impressed. I see a bright future ahead :) Thanks. It’s always a pleasure.
The Inky Squid is situated in The Pavilions Market Place Henry Lawson Drive Terranora. It's really popular but we've only been once on a Friday night. Tried a $10.00 Birthday Special - Battered Cod & French Fries.
The batter was perfect... thin & crunchy; super fresh fish, hot crisp fries & a wedge of lemon . We couldn't fault it; it was delicious!
The staff were super friendly, handed us a buzzer & invited us to look around the mini night market. We ate in the seated area of The Pavilions & listened to the free entertainment. Such a pleasant but simple night out right in our neighborhood. Definitely going again!
