It was my last day in Sydney and would up work by early afternoon to met with friends. Terrey Hills turned out to be a popular choice as it was very Aussie and it had ample parking. We had red wine and for the mains mostly stuck to fish.
It is a big outdoor place with a nice vibe, very popular with families & has a membership option which works well for frequent visitors..
It is located very close to scenic locations & was a great place to catch up with old who migrated to Australia.
Visited a few Sundays ago and forgot to review but my staple the teriyaki salmon which never fails to impress!! Place could do with a but of a spruce up but apart from that I also enjoy our visits.
Great food, great atmosphere. One of the best pub bistros on the northern beaches. The venue boasts a huge balinese style beergarden which is great in both summer and winter (lots of heaters!). A huge variety of menu items with a second kitchen, Mexican food. Which is authentic and reasonably priced. A good craft beer and wine selection on top of the norm. Also if you eat Thursday - Sunday you get a 2for1 meal voucher to come back and use it within a month Mon - Wednesday! No wonder this place is always packed. Recommended!
Within 15kms this is the best pub around. It has a great outdoor area, very family friendly on Sundays and has great pub rock on Sat nights. The food is very average Aussie fare which suits the very Aussie clientele. It's about quantity not quality food. Overall there is nothing as good on the pub scene between Forestville and Pymble.
Consistently fantastic. Terry Hills Tavern is one of the closest quick and easy places for us to venture to near home. In the many many dozens of times we've eaten there I'm yet to have a single meal that isn't hot, delicious and incredibly fast. Given how busy this place is every night of the week, I'm constantly amazed at the flawless coordination of the kitchen. The guy running the show clearly knows what he's doing. Regardless of how many variations you make to meal, it comes out exactly as requested every time. Always hot, always within about 5 minutes.
The Belrose Tavern is closer to our house, but each time we go there the food taked 45 mins to an hour and almost always comes out cold and often wrong as well.

This is a well designed pub. Has a great outdoor eating area which caters for large number of patrons. Also caters for kids but only indoor. Pity they don't have a outdoor play area for children as well. I have only ever been here during daylight hours so I can't comment on evening atmosphere. Overall, I place this in pub in the top five on the northern beaches. The managent are 'on the ball' and have always been very helpful & friendly.
Excellent venue, family friendly with large servings. Highly recommended for group gatherings or a family dinner out. Great in the balmy summer time or Cody in the Winter with portable heaters.
An amazing venue that boasts a 5 million $ renovation and won AHAs hotel of the year nsw for 2009!! Great good and atmosphere, love it!!!

Really good food and perfect for every occasion
I was really pleased with our latest visit! We received excellent service from all staff we dealt with, but especially the manager on duty. The menu had plenty of options, something to suit most, if not all, preferences, including the kids (the ketchup smile on their burgers; a nice touch they appreciated). My steak was cooked beautifully, and my wife's nachos was also tasty. Also helps having the playground to keep the kids busy and out of our hair! We'll definitely be back with the family sometime soon :)
The meal was delicious. I had the Pan fried eggs which came in a cast iron pan to keep it warm as I ate. The staff were very friendly and accommodating in making sure we had ample umbrella cover on a hot day and were ever present to ensure water jugs stayed full. The atmosphere was very pleasant even when quite busy. Would come back again
Came to have dinner and catch up with a friend. I have not been here for much longer than I thought. However, the food was great, staff were helpful and service was quick. the heaters were working outside and it was surprisingly warm and dry, as it was middle of winter and it just started raining. But we stayed warm and dry, left to enjoy our delicious dinner and talk about event over the last few years since we last met up.

Food was ok, but the service was slow. Called a coffee and it took around 30mins, so i left! Bad experience.
I came back yesterday and it was better
Group of 8 for Wed lunch. Very good pub food. Big servings. Prices fair. We had Barramundi/salad/chips. Fish crumbed & tasty, salad lovely/fresh. No contact ordering worked fairly well. Covered outside, safe, private eating area excellent. Good service from Thomas! All left full & happy. Thank you
