Review Shed - Terrey Hills

Amongst, the National Park another hidden treasure! The high Tea was amazing and beautifully served. A mix of petit 4's, salmon slider's and the most soft, fluffiest and moist scones you will ever have. The portions perfect, you will not leave hungry!! Service, was prompt and polite. The views are most serene. Don't forgot to take a walk out to all the boats berthed. Will definitely be back for a lunch session!

We booked for high tea , excellent service! It's beautiful location, not too mention the food! So generous and yummy, including the vegetarian options. Thank you for going out of your way to make us comfortable. We will be back to sample some more items of the menu.

My husband celebrated his surprise birthday party for 30 people at The Shed. From my very first meeting with Venue Manager, JK Chapeyrou, my experience with The Shed has been fabulous. JK sat down with me and we worked out the menu, wine, canapés and order of events. Everything was easy and beautifully organised. On the day all the guests commented on the delicious food, excellent wine selection , attentive service and picturesque location overlooking the water. Parking is also easy and plentiful. JK, Shannon and the team did an amazing job to make this a very special memory. Thank you.

Tried the grilled prawn salad and the salt and pepper calamari salad. Both very good. Service staff were very friendly and helpful. Pay at the counter so no end of meal bill payment complications. Food and beverage delivered to your table. Good for groups with heaps of tables inside and out. Location is stunning too. Located in the Kuringai Chase National Park. Sublime drive and huge parking area. And it’s on a marina so boaties can feel right at home. Open for breakfast and lunch 7 days. Great day out!

We visited recently with my family on Mother’s Day and coming back after so many years, it was such a lovely surprise. I would imagine if was one of their busiest weekends and have to say it’s well worth the drive! Very friendly and helpful staff - Ozzie & his team looked after us the entire time and we’ll definitely be back 😊. We loved fresh food, coffee and delicious donut with Nutella and to top it up, we hired a kayak and explored the bay.

Lovely, delicious, generous, fresh high tea stand in a pleasant waterside location on the Hawkesbury River at Akuna Bay. Sweet treats (scones, lemon meringue tart, brownies, custard tarts, orange almond cakes) all made onsite and are excellent quality as are the savoury bites of egg finger sandwiches and smoked salmon mini rolls bursting with filling. 5 star rating served with tea or coffee and a glass of Jansz.

Good sea food with an amazing setting at the marina. A must go if you are around and looking for an above average meal. Nice and friendly hosts. A bit pricey but worth the experience.

What a disgrace, my friends and I went to grab a bite to eat, I had been before and received questionable service but disregarded it as I understand people have bad days. On this day we show up and order food soon after 3 out of the 4 meals arrive, we asked the waiter where the other meal is and he simply said honest mix up and he is getting it. Finally we get the meal and have another server come over to advise us we need to pay for the 4th meal as it wasn’t put it in the register. I said no worries and when we went to pay the server said sorry for the mix up which I advised him it was not a mix up it was due to the lack of attention he had and his inability to provide decent customer service, as the same person who I was dealing with was also who served me initially. The server proceeded to ask what happened and I explained that when I went to go order my food he completely ignored me in which he replied “did you talk to me” I said that it was his job to provide customer service and if he communicated that he was busy at the time I would of waited (there was not many customers)…….. please ensure you talk to your staff and teach them customer service aka their job as it is not the first time I have experienced terrible service 10/10 would not recommend.
