Had my birthday with family and had the $49 lunch special. A choice of entree main or dessert. We had the entree and main. Mum had nocchi and my dad sis and I had soft shell crab. Was terriffic and a good size though my Mum said hers was a little small.
Dad and I had the pork chop and sweet potato and salad, Mum the Huon salmon and same for sis. It came with a glass of wine in the deal which was nice. Terrific food and the staff were professional and looked after us well. The window view was great too.
The special is Tuesday - Friday for lunch and is well worth it.
I will be back again and same for family.
My partner & I had the most wonderful evening there last night, enjoying the 7 course degustation with matching wines (& thank you to the amazing chef for creating a vegetarian degustation for me! �). The staff were attentive, the food was to die for, & the view spectacular. Could not have asked for a better evening. Thank you Reef! �

We were guests at a wedding at The Reef yesterday & the view was spectacular & the service & food was amazing. We cannot wait to visit Terrigal again so that we can return to The Reef.
Beautiful atmosphere and wonderful service. The food was amazing. We had our wedding reception here two years ago and went back for dinner for our anniversary. We mentioned to the staff our reason for our night out and a special little message came written on our dessert plate. Thank you Reef Restaurant for looking after us so well.
My husband and I recently celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary here and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The ambience was beautiful and romantic, and we were extremely pleased with our table.
The wait staff were attentive, but not to the point where they were intrusive.
The food was delicious, particularly the chocolate fondant; possibly one of the most decadent, delicious desserts I've eaten. Thank you, we look forward to coming again :).

My partner and I enjoyed an amazing 3 course lunch at Reef, the staff were both friendly and attentive and the food was beautifully presented and delicious I had beef carpaccio for entree I ordered not knowing what it was and I’m so glad I did it was amazing!! Thank you Reef restaurant.
We took my mother in law for a early mothers days lunch, the meals were great and so was the service and of course the view was terrific. Definitely recommend this outstanding restaurant.

What a way to spend a Wednesday afternoon! Quite brilliant sea views and excellent rich food.. doesn’t look like much food but it sure is filling. 5 star.

Felt really fancy eating here. The restaurant is situated and overlooks the fringe of the ocean, through almost full length windows along the entire back wall.
We came here for our anniversary last year and our experience was divine. We booked quite late and therefore were initially unable to have a table right by the window. As we were waiting for our order, our waitress informed us of a cancellation by the window and offered to relocate us as an option (which we gladly took). Definitely recommend requesting for a window table if possible! It was quite nice watching the sun set during the evening.
We ordered the set degustation menu. The price was reasonable in comparison to the usual prices we would expect to see in Sydney. There were 7 plates total from memory, and almost every dish was perfect. They were also able to accommodate for one of my food allergies and change one of the dishes in the degustation for me (my partner still received the recommended dish).
I could not fault the service and have only positive things to say about our overall experience.

By far the best waterfront dining on the Central Coast. Literally on the waters edge in the haven, big windows that open over the ocean, they also have binoculars on the tables!
The service is extremely professional but also thoughtful. Excellent food, fresh seafood, great wines and incredible desserts. Nothing bad to say about this place, thoroughly recommend.

Really friendly service. Had the lamb rack for main and pistachio honey brûlée for desert. Both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.
Called in for impromptu lunch on particularly hot summer day. 6 of us ordered and waited a while ( as menu note suggested would be the case at busy times- we were only table being catered for though?) meals orders included chilli lime prawns, a trout dish and some kids burgers. Just some additional texture elements would have improved what were good meals.

Fabulous location, great food and excellent service. We were disappointed we couldn't have the seafood platter (48 hours notice required... Maybe next time) but went with the three course menu special. Portions are very generous. The highlights were the Angus beef fillet, and the cornetto pannacotta which were superb. The pumpkin risotto was a little too yellow with too many vegetable chunks for our liking, but it was forgiven given the quality of the other food. Will visit again, this time for the seafood platter!
Food by the sea. Delicious seafood. Not big servings but good quality. Snapper main and soft shell crab were incredibly good.

Had the degustation with my partner on a Tuesday night. All the dishes were great. The oysters tasted especially fresh. The prawn was deliciously meaty.
Would recommend the degustation as you get a nice taste of every thing they have to offer.. Make sure you go hungry though, I had a hard time finishing the last course and desert.
The waitress we had was also really friendly.
And the view was pretty stellar too.
Great food, great service and views. Seafood was high quality as was the wine list.
