Woooooow is an understatement!! The food was absolutely magnificent, we shared everything because we couldn't decide on what to have as they all sounded amazing & that was the best idea. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Thanks to the staff who were awesome � Can't recommend this restaurant enough
We dined Friday night for the Winter Decadance and the menu did not disappoint. A shout out to everyone from the kitchen to the door to the floor. All were amazing. Great friendly staff and so accommodating. A special thank you to Mel who created heaven in the kitchen for us all. The flavours were beyond bliss. A beautiful evening.
Staff, service and food were all fantastic. We went for locals night, the menu, which changes weekly and always sounds appealing, had us all wanting everything- it all sounded great. For the vegetarian dining with us, they happily offered her an alternative which she loved and was more adventurous than the usual pasta on offer for vegos at most other establishments. Having finally made our choices, we all loved our meals and being the sharing family we are, tasted each other's meals. All were top notch. Can't wait to go back. The setting was a little loud but that's only because it was full of people enjoying themselves and their meals- so good to see. Highly recommend booking! Corkage is a bargain too. Also noticed the active effort to minimise single use plastic in offering free first coffee with purchase of their keep cups and discounts on take away coffee when using own cup. Need more of this. Well done guys.
I wanted to make sure I took the time to review this lovely restaurant. We had a family dinner there tonight and the food, service and setting was just beautiful. The Manager went above and beyond and even sat there and fed our baby his food so me and my husband could enjoy our dinner with our other two children. She had such a beautiful manner with the children and made it a lovely enjoyable experience. We will most definately be back and would highly recommend to other families not just for the delicious food but for the family friendly staff. Thank you.
Took advantage of the New Year's Eve fixed menu and was highly impressed by the beautiful location, friendly and efficient service and outstanding food … not to mention the delicious jug of sparkling rose sangria! There were children there who were also treated with kindness and consideration … not always a thing at high-end restaurants. Will be back :D
Superb! Had a lovely evening with my hubby due to amazing welcoming staff, fabulous food and a lovely atmosphere. Garlic prawns were delish! Lamb too. Pork belly too! Would highly recommend. Hubby would love to see some Six String IPA options on the menu (we would never have left) �

We dropped in without a booking - forgetting that it was mother’s day (silly us)! Despite the fact that they were busy preparing for their mother’s day lunch and were fully booked, staff here took it upon themselves to check it the kitchen and restaurant could accommodate us, the last minute drop ins. It was amazing for them to go the extra mile for us - absolutely fantastic service!
Food was amazing - we had the the eggs benedict and the brekkie bowl. Both were phenomenal.
Will definitely be back (this time, with a booking!)

Long time resident, first time visitor and diner. Very impressed with the set up and a nice selection for the lunchtime menu. The meals were perfect in size and very tasty thank you. Blake was very friendly, approachable and interacted with us in a genuine and vested way. Some strip mirrors on the brickwork though would give everyone a nice view of the great scenery. Thanks again to the chefs and staff. We will be back.
Been many times now and apart from the changing menu which is good i also find the staff very hospitable. Plus the view is hard to take as well.

Not the first time I've dined at Maccoa but shout out to the team for a fab Friday night! We had a girls night over the Winter Decadence menu and it definitely did not disappoint. After hearing big kudos from friends 3 of us ventured in this morning for breakfast. It was fabulous. Friendly service. Beautiful reasonably priced food which actually looks as good as the photos on the website and tasted even better. Highly recommended

We have had the most amazing Breakfast experience at the Maccoa Breakfast Cafe, at The Clan Motel in Terrigal. Because of Covid we are 9 months late and celebrating 50 years (and 9 month) honeymoon anniversary. The staff are fabulous and the food beautiful. 😋 Thankyou.
We had a birthday party here on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were very helpful, easy to communicate with in the lead up to the party, and professional. The canapes were delicious, with generous portion sizes. Would definitely recommend for a small or medium sized party!
The wait to order took a while and unfortunately we found out that we couldn’t use our Entertainment Book voucher. However the food was good and waitstaff were lovely.
Great place for breakfast, bacon and egg roll was delicious, highly recommend the fresh juice.
