Review Fonzirelli Restaurant - The Entrance

Decided to dine at Fonzirelli with my son as we were staying close by. The service was exceptional and the food came out very fast! The all meat pizza was loaded with toppings and the carbonara was creamy and delicious! I will be back next time I come to The Entrance.

I was blown away by the food, my friend and I dined here the other night and even though the waitresses were looking after a huge party at another table they were super accomodating. My friend asked if they could make a creamy prawn pasta dish for her that was not on the menu and they kindly made it for her. I got the pasta Boscaiola and it was the best I’ve ever had. We also ordered a garlic cheese pizza base to share which was absolute heaven. Highly recommend

Absolutely wonderful, food was delicious and was very quick to the table. Waitresses were lovely and were very attentive to our table of 8. Had a great night, we definitely be going again.

We figured it must be good if it's been around for so long. Food was OK, edible but nothing fancy. The supreme pizza was alright, bosciola pasta was a bit tasteless, and the garlic pizza bread was way too salty.

Had a table booked for a party of 10, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service was abhorrent. The older waitress (whom I believe is actually the manager) was extremely hostile, she was unable to correctly take our orders and then was extremely rude when trying to rectify the situation, half of our party was served 30 mins after being blamed for their error. She and the other male senior staff member made an effort to intentionally slap each the meals down when serving and rudely told us she would not be taking drink or meal orders from the table, we then had to wait over 30 mins for table water. We had previously arranged for a cake to come to the table following our meal, we reminded the staff and ended up having to go to the bar to which we were just directed to take the cake ourselves. The family who booked the table have been coming here for over a decade and after tonight will never come back to this establishment and actively turn people away from dining here because of this disgusting experience. The owners need to have a good hard look at how they operate business and treat their customers. Really disappointing for a business with such a great view of the channel.

The pizzas were amazing. The kids had pasta and all the plates were emptied! The service was lovely. A great family business.

Food was delicious but at 8:15 we were told we had 15 min to leave due to ‘maintenance’ with no warning’. Nothing was mentioned about ‘maintenance’ when we booked or arrived and on a girls night with half of all ours drinks left we had to leave. Extremely disappointed in the service

One star is being generous! Food tasted plastic and bland. We ordered a pizza which I admit was not bad. Salad was soggy, fettuccine carbonara was orange/pink in colour??? I asked for a plate of ravioli for a one year old and was given an adult size which the sauce was full of chilli, the whole meal was untouched and the most expensive meal we had to pay for. I felt terrible as I hate wasting food hence why I asked for a child size. Was told they don't do kids sizes (for a family holiday area you think they would cater for little ones) then when it came to pay the bill I was slapped with almost a $10 surcharge! Was not told I would be charged this before we ordered. $100 for a meal of 2 adults one 1 year old and the only thing that was eaten was the pizza. Had to get up several times to get my napkins, order my drinks, get some parmesan cheese. Hate wasting food yet we basically paid for plastic food that tasted like it came straight out of the freezer and mass produced like aeroplane food and was all left on the table to be thrown out. Save your money and go elsewhere!!!!

My fiancee and i had dinner there last night and could not fault it. I had the seafood pasta which was the best pasta i have had in a long time and he had the meat pizza which he loved. Will definitely be back.

Our food was absolutely delicious (Fettucine Carbonara and Spaghetti Papadilla). We didn't have a reservation but were sat on the verandah with a stunning view. The staff were super friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back again. Thank you

Went to the newly open 'Dining' section downstairs today for lunch. Should have kept walking seeing as no one inside. Food not good, my friend couldn't even finish his pizza and he eats anything and everything. No ice for our drinks. Service wasn't overly friendly. Won't be returning. Lots of other places to eat at The Entrance
