We were staying at the Vines for a couple of nights mid week. Not much choice where to go for dinner..... but as far as "pub food" goes, this is pretty good. Not a lot of choice on the menu but it is cooked well and tasty. Drinks are a little on the expensive side.
Very, very disappointing lunch. Four of us ordered two seafood platters. The squid was tough, the Fremantle octopus was tough, the prawns were the best bit but more batter than prawn, the fish was in a thick not fully cooked batter and was extremely dry and not edibke. The platter came with a whole
Lovely location and atmosphere but the food was a little disappointing especially the share platters they need some work especially for the price. Overall the drinks and company were good so we had a good day there especially if you are a big group with children.
Nice atmosphere and seating for family event or friend catching up. Nice view and space to walk around after lunch. Food can be nicer but the variety is good
The food is ok. The beer selection dosent reflect the local area.
Sunday special was good though slightly undercooked in the middle (not good for chicken).. Outdoor furniture was not cleaned down after previous diners! But overall goog.
