Current rating in no way reflects the food I had there this week. Been a long time since dining at the Vines but the food was awesome. Had marina, duck red curry and pork ribs and all were on point. Seafood cooked perfectly. Very good value for money for how good the food was
A great spot for getting on the lash after a round of golf, the food isn't bad either, especially the pizza which even comes equipped with a full body stretcher for those who need to be carried out after over indulging.
Note: Don’t believe a word of what anyone says at this bar, unless you've witnessed their claims on the golf course with your own two eyes…
Lovely night out. The vines cafe did not disappoint. We had the ribs and prawn pizza for dinner, both were amazingly delicious. But the highlight was the service. Plenty of smiles and a quick wait for food and drinks. Will definitely be going back, 8.5/10 stars

An Unexpected treat. At very short notice, three of us decided to eat out and on little more than a whim, found ourselves at The Vines Cafe & Bar. Being part of a golf resort, it is located in the middle of some lush green and very well watered grounds - it was a pretty hot, still night, but walking in we found it beautifully cool. We chose to take an outdoor seat, but could have sat indoors if we'd wanted. Nicely relaxed ambiance, uncrowded, friendly, and (importantly for me) not noisy. Really friendly and attentive staff too.
The menu offers a good range of seemingly regular 'pub fare', until you read the detail descriptions. Making up you mind is the difficult thing. Between the three of us, we settled on the BBQ Pork Ribs, the Southern Fried Chicken, and the Trio of Burgers. Oh, and an entree of choritzo, olives and fetta for starters.
The entree was on our table in quick time (delicious) and the mains were there as soon as the entree bowl was empty. As a visual treat, the mains were a joy to behold. Excellent quantities, but presented in a way that just made us want to tuck right in. But not before there was a bit of 'horse trading' between us about who was going to have what. You know the old story; "mine looks great, but ooh, yours looks even better..."
As it happened, quantities were sufficient for all of us to sample each others plates (platters?), and what excellent food it was. And not just the meat - the accompaniments were done to perfection too. Go the the website, check the menu selections, and imagine them tasting the best they can be. That's how good they are.
Prices? All up, including a round of soft drinks, the cost was just on $30 a head. Given the location, the venue, the comfortable feel of the place, we left there very happy diners indeed. Really looking forward to a return visit - with some guests. We have so got to show this place off!!!
For pub or cafe fare (casual dining), it doesn't get much better than this. Highly recommended.
PS. Make sure you are hungry when you go.
Mrs Helene Fenton. My Husband and I went and had lunch on Monday 14th to the Vines bar .The food was excellent very tasty and plenty on the plate . There was only one young lady serving she was rushed but was very pleasant at all times nothing was to much for her.
To find the place was another matter most signs up where for club members .We had to ask several people the way to go ,the place is like a maze .Signage there is none on unless it was behind the bushes.
This is a great place to come to. my experience was very friendly staff and nice food. Its very family orientated as there was a family fun day and it was really well planned. They are doing a summer outside disco soon so i am going to bring the girls for a night out. All in all a lovely experience with this hidden gem in the swan valley. Definately worth a visit.
I don't know what drugs this Mike Todd is on but seriously I have never had a bad occasion the staff are very warm and friendly and as for the Cafe Manager I don't think you could find a nicer person.
We had a 3 course meal and every course was absolutely perfect.
Had late lunch on a Thursday and order chicken burger. The burger was huge and satisfying 😊very yummy, the edge was burnt and bitter, I cut them off. Went there the day before too and notice their menu is always wet. How come? I saw a cashier placed a glass of beer spilling out on the menu, hence wet-and-smell-of-bear menu. Yuk.
We were staying at the Vines for a couple of nights mid week. Not much choice where to go for dinner..... but as far as "pub food" goes, this is pretty good. Not a lot of choice on the menu but it is cooked well and tasty. Drinks are a little on the expensive side.
The food is ok. The beer selection dosent reflect the local area.
Sunday special was good though slightly undercooked in the middle (not good for chicken).. Outdoor furniture was not cleaned down after previous diners! But overall goog.
