Review Mcdonald's - Thomastown

Probably the worst McDonald's in the northside, hands down. Who thought it would be a good idea to put a 24/7 Maccas OFF a main road INSIDE a tight homemaker centre?! With three possible carpark entrances to the drive thru, it is extremely hard to get in and out, especially on weekends. On the first occasion, I ordered a big breakfast order via my phone and picked up in store. The app crashed at checkout, so my 20% off the entire order didn't work. The staff didn't really care because it wasn't their fault. I thought fine, it's busy, let it slide, it was breakfast time anyway. Got home, gave out all the McMuffin's and pancakes to my hungry mates, and was left with the bacon and egg McMuffin with NO bacon or egg, just the muffin. Love this for me. On the second occasion, I went to the drive through early in the morning (2:45am) to be told that the "ordering systems were down for the next 25-30 minutes". I have never experienced this at any McDonald's in my life. Broken ice-cream machines? Sure. Out of McHappy Meal toys? Better for the environment. But when the whole system is down with six employees standing about?! 👎 I think the universe is telling me not to eat Maccas but I will never go to Dalton Rd Maccas again.

I ordered grape tomatoes for a happy meal and received this. Along with all the food being cold and stale, this was beyond words.

It's a McDonald's, same as every other McDonald's, this one, like many of the other McDonald's stores that I have frequented is grotty, dirty and unkept. Walking to the store entrance was a challenging experience, the carpark and roadway had litter scattered around all over the place. Walking into the McDonald's restaurant was not much better. On walking through the front entrance, I was confronted with the sight of french fries squashed into and all over the floor in the entranceway. Looking around at the floor throughout the restaurant there were similar sights all over the place, bits of food scraps and McRubbish abounded everywhere around. The tables were mostly clean although there were specks of food scraps on some of them. The coffee machine and associated area was putrid, especially dirty were the stainless steel milk frothing jugs. They looked like they hadn't been cleaned in an eternity. The milk was sitting on the bench next to the coffee machine, unrefrigerated and without the lids on the milk containers, for god knows how long. The staff were polite and friendly. The service was quick. On the whole not the dirtiest McDonald's I've been to but it still could be a lot cleaner than it is. Definitely needs work and attention to detail.

We spent money on our food but ended up with getting those burnt muffin which I don’t think is good for health. Plus we ordered shaker fries but got wrong things. definitely not come back again. Can’t be more DISAPPOINTED

McDonald’s scammed my $6.00, ordered 2 chocolate sundaes at a random day. And drove thru to collect our order, the staff said there are no chocolate sundaes available, then we requested a refund. She said sure and turned her back on us and walked away. We thought ok, our refund will be automatically processed through the mymaccas app. But unfortunately, the $6.00 are deducted from my transaction. This is a total scam, and unprofessional service. I left a message on their official website with detailed information. No one even bother to contact me back. Well done, what should I say, luckily it’s just $6.00? Shame on you. Hopefully it’s not happening at all the other McDonald’s in Australia. So disappointed.

Every Mcdonalds the food is the same. But the service is different. This place the staff has no smile, no caring, all did not want to be there. I'm not sure why the staff think it's 'fast service' so you don't have to smile. Thought McDonald's crew training was about customer service and SMILE! These youngsters are our future, hope the young people get told to smile to their customers rather than being just robotic!

Went in for coffee... and walked out with chips as well. Both were reasonable... didnt blow my socks off but filled the emptiness inside me enough to survive until dinner.

It was 12.05am and we were hungry as so decided to do a maccas drive thru. Long line of cars, and when it was finally our turn we were told they only accepted cash and the eftpos machine wasn't working, which left us no choice but to leave. Then we had to wait for the long line of cars to pay and get their food before we could even exit. What a waste of our lives.

If you plan on catching a train on time perhaps this venue isn’t for you. Clearly understaffed- one girl making the coffee and serving customers at the same time. Maybe the fault was on me in thinking I could get my meal made within 10 minutes but alas, this rating also reflects the poignant stench of human piss that first greeted me upon walking into this McDonald’s. You could of got a three at best sans pee.

Went here at 2am. This place is not always perfect, but tonight the hashbrowns the golden, the fries were salty and the cheeseburgers were fresh. It was perfect. Even my sober driver friend was utterly satisfied.

ok so the only reason why I'm writing this review for maccas is because they gotta do something ahout the staffs here!! either that or just go through drive thru although occasionally you'd get an item missing so do double check! however my review is for the counter services. Rude and ignorant services. Always get attitude even though I thought I was the customer? Waited for ages for my shakes and when I went to ask she said "well did you hear your item being called?" - obviously not... then asked for napkin cause the cup had shakes spilt and she just rudely point without apologising even though they could have helped me clean it up before handing it to me... other times Ive never had smiles or greetings. so this wasnt the only time I've been unhappy with the service here. Anyway rant over.

Very very dirty unhygenic, rubbish all over the place can't even sit & eat anywhere, we only came in due to peak hour for traffic. Cold food as well. I walked everywhere, to try looking for a clean area there isn't one. So I tried to clean the chair, table & floor myself. I should work here as a cleaner.<br/>

I don't even want to give one star. The staff named Jacinta was extremely rude. I never expect a good customer service at any McDonald's but she was just terrible. No smile, angry face and talking to me aggressively. I hope she knows the word 'thank you' at least.
