What a wonderful experience. The pizza was perfect. The atmosphere, spectacular. The customer service exceptional. There are few moments in life when the stars align to deliver the perfect pizza experience. This was one of those moments. Would give six stars if could. Keep up the fine work.

If you're wanting an arty farty and pretentious pizza, then this is not the place for you. If you're happy with regular pizzas with toppings that you understand, then this is definitely the place for you. I ordered 6 pizzas from here with the traditional crust and all were cooked to perfection. My absolute favourite which was a clear standout was the Capri. I loved the extra little dollops of tomato salsa on top. It was very delicious and saucy (the one thing I can't stand is a dry pizza). It was my first time here and I'll definitely be coming back here again. Oh, and they have a three large pizzas special for $29 which was a bargain! Highly recommended.

Look, I’m giving them a 4 because they previous reviews are unwarranted. It is absolutely fine for the price. We got 3 small pizzas and a garlic bread delivered for $16.50!! With Doordash. Insane. Not the best pizza you can find. But far from the worst. they’re open late and the ingredients are just fine.

Garlic Focaccia wasn’t a focaccia, it was more of a garlic pizza. This was not mentioned on their menu. Misleading and disappointing.

I would not feed a stray dog the pizza from here. This is the cheapest pizza place I’ve found but even then the absolutely dire quality of the food leaves the impression it’s overpriced. If you like your pizza undercooked and swimming in oil then this is the place for you. The staff are very nice but their inability to follow instructions makes you wonder. There’s a very good reason one-star reviews are the most numerous and they’re well earned.

I can't figure out the bad reviews. Get pizzas from here a once or twice a month and it's always good. Not fancy thin crust, it's homely and comforting.

Been ordering pizzas from here for over 7 years. I like their pizzas & have no complaints. Staff are usually friendly & courteous. I'd also like to highlight that they sell alcohol ranging from beers, wines & premixed spirits.

I just brought 12 pizza's for a kids party and everyone was saying this pizza is so good. Highly recommend

Used to be a great place. Run by idiots now. Ordered the pizzas. Picked them up went home. Not what I asked for. Spent a lot of money here over the years. Today was the last dollar you get from me.

Dear Diners, I rarely write reviews but wish that somebody had taken the trouble to share how bad dining is at La Casareccia Bistro. A simple Google search for “Register of Convictions - La Casareccia Pizza Restaurant – Victoria Health Department”, will reveal the true horrors going on in the kitchen, which coped them a $40,000 fine. But my horrible experience started with the service and then got worse with the food. A simple lunch time order, took hours to arrive and was woeful when delivered. Imagine the worst microwave frozen meal and you might come close to the abomination that arrived. But even, at this low point, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called to tell them what happened. Their response was what motivated me to write this for you and warn you about how bad this place is. Their fake reviews will not rescue them from poor quality food, poor service and poor hygiene. My strong advice, is to look elsewhere for your Italian cuisine!

The food me and my parnter ate was delicious, and very reasonably priced, great service. Can't wait to eat there again

Its taken me a long time to accept that this business is deplorable. Since the owners started employing incompetent staff and working hands on less the standards have gone from bad to worse. It pains me me to say thus as La Cass is the only pizza place i know that makes a Potato Bake Pizza. A regular dish for me over the past several years. Most items on the menu border on inedible, the prices are as high as the cesar salad is sloppy and sweet, as the wedges are dry, and cooked unevenly, the burgers thick and rancidly flavored. If i could take back all the money ive spent here over the years, i would. I knew with every order it was a gamble, but since its gone from 1 in 3 pizzas being prepared correctly to 1 in 10 Ive decided to draw a line. I don't know what it would take to turn this business around and get it back to it's glory days, but until then I CANT RECCOMENED AGAINST ORDERING FROM HERE ENOUGH. Running a fucking scam off delivery services posing as a dozen different businesses. Your food is shit. Fuck off.

Lets say reliable but not necessarily good late night food option in Melbourne North. They added $5 delivery fee which seems insane. Also restaurant is like strange totalitarian police station. Have seen what seem to be under age kids operating cash registers before.

We've just ordered 3 pizzas, 2 garlic breads and a drink and not only did the driver forget the garlic breads but also delivered the pizzas in the most shocking manner. Not sure how you can't keep it upright. It's really not that hard.

Absolute trash! Ordered what seemed to be a safe pizza (Margarita) and received a sloppy, under cooked mess! Cheese slid straight off and tasted disgusting. Upon further investigation found out this business has been fined $40k after the restaurant's staff were found to have lacked necessary skills in food safety and food hygiene. ​<br/><br/>I can't understand how this place is still operating. I'm also curious as to why they're trading as two different names on Uber Eats - Ghost Pan Pizza AND La Casareccia?? Very shady!

I wish I read reviews on this place before ordering on Ubereats. Came in a timely manner but when I saw my cannelloni and my boyfriend’s pasta it did not look appetising. The cannelloni pastry tasted like cardboard and the filling tasted like it was from frozen I couldn’t finish it

I wish I’d read the reviews before I ordered here. A truly revolting serve of pasta that wasn’t actually a carbonara. Overcooked pasta, drowning in cream, with fatty chunks of flavourless bacon floating in it. Avoid this place unless you’re genuinely desperate.

Ordered from eat now...order placed at 6.15 with text stating should arrive at 7.15. 20 past 7 call only to be told should be 15 mins. Arrives at 8! Only ordered 2 pastas which were average and a burnt and cold garlic bread. No apology, no explanation...terrible

This place is DISGUSTING!!! I got sooo sick after eating here I ended up in hospital. Dirty restaurant and very poor food handling. Very dodgy. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. Do yourself a favour and go across the road to the other Italian restaurant.

Went over to my mums house and she decided to order pizza from La Casareccia for the family. This has been her local take away for many years. This conveniently opens before 6pm as my mum tends to have dinner earlier and they do deliver. <br/>We ordered 2 large Capriciossa and Vegetarian pizzas with a garlic bread. We also got a side of hot chips just to really increase the calorie consumption for the day! The food was delivered promptly. <br/>I have read the previous reviews and I have to say my experience is not as bad as what I have read. The deep pan pizzas were actually full of toppings however they were a little bland. I had to add extra salt to give it some further flavour. The garlic bread was flavoursome. My hot chips were really lovely and considering they were delivered they were still hot and very tasty. <br/>My mum has been ordering pizza from La Casareccia for years and they are always reliable with their delivery service. The pizzas are average but they are full of toppings. They do have lots of other menu options too like souvlakis. I don't find the prices too extortionate either.

Got to say very disappoint with their pizzas. Ordered online it was cold and had sweated in the box. Maybe you should deliver all over the state!

Poor and illegal service. Took 2 hours for the pizzas to "arrive", the delivery person then "called" my phone - of which there is no record and then he left.  The restaurant was called twice to check on the status of the order, the receptionist was very rude, and refused to reimburse for the undelivered pizzas. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Ordered despite the majority of reviews because La Casareccia was the only place open and we needed food to ease a nasty hangover. Expected delivery was 10.45am and the pizza's arrived at 10.30am (door bell rung). Much better than expected: deep pan, plenty of toppings, flavourful and as ordered. Higher prices are to be expected given the irregular hours of operation. This place serves its purpose in my opinion, it's not gourmet, I probably wouldn't order regularly but for a Sunday morning after a big night, it was exactly what we needed.

$40,000 fine by health department for dirty, unhygienic kitchen and poor food handling should be enough to avoid this place! Not worth the risk.

Ordered food at 12:30am, was told via text that it would arrive at 1:45, which I thought was a bit ridiculous to start with. Food finally arrived at 2:15am, half an hour late, with no apologies and no explanation. We ordered the chicken and avocado pasta, which had barely any avo in it (about a quarter of an avocado max), and was incredibly greasy, and the lasagna, which only took up 2 thirds of a take away container and was literally drowning in oil. We also got garlic bread, which seemed to have been microwaved. Both dishes tasted good but were obviously not good quality. We ordered a tub of gelato with our food, which arrived melted, and with a huge crack in the bottom of the tub, with gelato dripping out. Also specified that we wanted plastic cutlery which was not provided.<br/>Overall, food tasted nice, but was drenched in oil and took almost 2 hours to arrive. Definitely not worth $40.

Just ordered from this place from eatnow.com.au, at 12 30 am 9/7/2016. a souvlaki and a burger........and guess what i got a the burger half eaten by someone else. i called the restaurant and they told me that this was not possible, no refund, no apologies........and also hung up the phone. I don't know what to say about this place, i just cant believe it,  i have never felt so disrespected by any service place.

Ordered from there around 6am and the pizzas arrived quickly, and were hot. <br/>I don't understand all the hate. The pizzas were delicious and the bases were very tasty and good texture <br/>We got mushroom, and vegetarian supreme. <br/>Not cheap, but hey, 24hr pizza is worth paying for. <br/>They forgot our garlic bread but I called them and they said they'll add it to our order next time.

Don't even think about it. I'm just waiting for this place to close down - it's inevitable. Horrible pizza & restaurant is ALWAYS empty (which says all you need to know). They have also just been fined $40,000 by the Health Department and listed in the top 11 dirtiest kitchens in Melbourne. You have been warned. Do yourself a favour and head to Pizza Farro over the road. By the way, I love the couple of five star reviews left here from reviewers with only one review to their names. Not obvious at all.

I stupidly didn't pay attention to all the bad reviews and just wasted money like everyone else. When ordering deals beware that the garlic bread and coke will be forgotten. A simple verbal "sorry" is what you'll get instead.

This place sucks!! The food is alright, if you don't mind waiting hours for the delivery.. Cold cold food was just delivered to Balwyn. 2.5 hrs after the order was made. And not even an apology. I hope you guys learn how to run a good business one day.

To the owners no criticism about your food but to your delivery driver last Saturday night 2am. What a disgrace didn't get out of the car at all let alone make the effort to drive to my door to drop the food. Worst of all he said he didn't have change which was 8 dollars my loss. Obviously he was trying to make money because what delivery driver doesn't have change knowing they are making a delivery. Unprofessional and a disgrace get rid of him.

Surprised with all the previous reviews, I ordered as a delivery and my experience was really good. Food was great (Chicken Parma), nothing weird or disgusting on my plate. The delivery lady was very friendly. Hope not to be disappointed next time I order...

Really good pizza, however every single time i have gotten delivery it has taken 60-100 minutes (ive orderes from this place approximately 6-8t times -only returning for the quality of the pizza). I've had enough. The staff have always been rude, never an apology for the delay and the most recent pizza was cold. The chefs are great but it is not worth getting delivery from this restaurant. Disappointing service. I will not be ordering again.

Pizzas are dry and horrible and the customer service is worse. Orders are frequently messed up and staff are rude. I'm convinced that the only reason this business survives is that they have long trading hours and so at some hours, they are the only option available

Wrong order, missing two sides twenty minutes late. When we called up to complain the guy who answered was rude and u helpful said he could send out missing pieces in an hour. Didn't exactly want to be eating half our food freezing when the rest finally arrived. Really disappointing and expensive.

Worst food experience i have ever had. So completely over priced to begin with, we paid $45 for two beers and a pizza (which was disgusting and cold) delivery driver was so rude, also did not bring change and was expecting us to just give him an extra five dollars on top of the $7 delivery fee. We ordered the vegan pizza, the ingredients where clearly listed and cheese was not one of them, hence a VEGAN pizza, we ordered no cheese as i have a serious allergy, we gave them a call and confronted them about this and the man on the phone hurled abuse at us and was very defensive, we then managed to get out of the man on the other end of the phone that the website automatically selects add cheese to vegan pizza and he was fully aware of it but did not notify us. What a complete waste of money. He refused to give us our money back even though it was their mistake. Such a poorly run business. Please do not order from here.

Worst pasta soggy tiny under cooked pizza, what a joke $36 down the drain! No avocado in the avocado and chicken pasta no chicken and no white wine like states. It was a horrible powdery cream taste with green and white pasta.

Always impressed with their delivery service and quality of food when it's 3am and I have a pizza craving. The pasta is delicious, well cooked with ample sauce and the pizza definitely satisfies.

It's not sitting on a 2.5 for nothing. It is average at best. I enjoy it if I'm after a good-shit pizza. You know the kind - when you've had a few drinks and you want some greasy food. But when they delivery the wrong pizza, make you explain it to about 4 different people and then say, "no sorry there is nothing we can do". Well I'll keep my money and make sure I always have basic pizza ingredients on hand!

Beware! I ordered food from them and it didn't show up!!! My friend and I were sitting up waiting for it for 2 hours late at night and it never came!! It was very quiet and we were in the next room so unless the magical delivery driver had floated down the garden path and tapped on the front door with feather hands they didn't come cause we would have heard them. The next day I phoned up and politely explained what had happened only to be told it was delivered and to call back to speak to manager later. Long story short I was put on the phone to the manager who screamed at me for politely asking for a refund, kept yelling over the top of me and then said he was only willing to give me half my money back for an order his company didn't deliver!! I couldn't believe it, I have never been spoken to like that. I hope somebody pisses under their door.

Just watched one of your delivery drivers in the silver Holden astra/vectra sit with a delivery in his car outside the shop for 10 mins talking on the phone instead of delivering the pizza. Feel sorry for whoever got that delivery. If it was me I'd send it back. Wouldn't order from there if it was free...

DON'T DO IT PEOPLE. This place is disgusting, we ordered a vegetarian pizza and realised only when we'd consumed most of it that it had multiple strands of hair cooked into the crust. It was fkn gross. Plz don't go here

If you would like to wait over an hour for two pastas mid day Tuesday's. DONT ORDER FROM HERE. After waiting this long and getting my marinara pasta. Well that's what I ordered what I got was the wrong sauce and no actual seafood in my seafood pasta. Will not be returning and I recommend no one does.

Terrible service, terrible pizza, terrible experience. Terrible! We waited we over an hour for our 4 pizzas to be delivered. When they came, there was only 3 pizzas- we then waited 30 mins for our completed order. <br/>The pizza itself was thin on toppings and lacked taste- not to mention burnt in placea. We will NOT be ordering from here again. <br/>We called to shop and spoke with the manager who said they were busy , no offer if a refund - a joke when I spent $66 on 4 pizzas!

Our order was messed up and then after promising to fix it they didn't bother. Pasta was dry with imitation chicken and the only cream in the dish is still in the supermarket. And to add insult to injury still charged us 5 bucks for delivery. Forget this one.

These guys are the worst! Been going to them for ages but never again, change of management? Ordered two basic pizzas, arrived nearly half an hour past the estimated time cold and like cardboard. Kept calling to enquire and they kept saying the driver was 5 mins away. Tasted so awful and a waste of $42. Won't bother again, very disappointing.

Worst food in Darebin!. I have been ordering from this place for 7yrs. They usually make great pizza, when consistent, and they deliver alcohol, but their food is disgusting. The worst nastiest cheapest crap I've ever eaten & some gives you stomach pains after. Especially the pastas. I hadn't ordered since last year koz I was eating healthier and cooking more at home, but got pizza the other week. Not only have their prices gone up exponentially, they've also added a $5 delivery fee and changed their system. So, what used to cost me $29.95 for a large pizza and bottle of wine, cost me $41! That wine is like $4 something at Woolworths, so under $4 a bottle per case, they charge now $14. You used to be able to substitute, so if I take a topping off they deducted from the price, and if I added something else on they just added that amount back on. Now you get charged extra regardless if you have things taken off, and their extras amount has gone up, plus the base rate for the pizza to start with.<br/>Just flew home from interstate tonight and had no food, so had to order from them. It was wrong.... <br/>So I ring and this guy I'm unfamiliar with answers the phone and I tell him I've received my order and it's incorrect, he tells me that's good, like he's proud... I'm like excuse me, so he repeats what I said to him, but really rudely. Then he's like that's good again, so I'm saying no it's not, he asks why, I say koz it's wrong, he's what do you mean it's wrong what pizza is it? Um, huh? This is not ever how I've had a customer complaint dealt with. Usually a manager gets on the phone and they ask my number so they can look up the order, but this guy's yelling at me what pizza is it, how is it wrong, so I'm trying to tell him then he's like what's your address, so I tell him and he can't hear me so I raise my voice for him, and every time I give him a bit of my address he rudely yells YEEESSSS back at me like a smart arse. It was extremely combative and very bizarre behaviour. Then again he's asking me what pizza I ordered. Geezus! It's not rocket science mate. Now I'm really hungry and have to wait for a fresh pizza he's probably spit in.<br/>AND I've just noticed the one I have is missing a main ingredient. So, they don't even know how to make their pizzas properly anymore, let alone deliver a thin base sans two toppings, and bring me a thick base with the toppings I asked to be removed, but minus one of the most important toppings. This is pure insanity. For a place that has been in business so long, you;d think they'd have it figured out by now.

Phone service. Pizza is good but VERY poor phone service. One woman kept getting our ordered wrong.

TLDR: La Casareccia is not fine dining. It’s a suburban pizza joint with no ideas above its station. And it makes good pizza.

All of us at some point need a pizza when we are feeling a wee bit shabby which is why I have ordered pizzas from here in sheer carb desperation. It's definitely not for a gourmet pizza. Almost EVERY time I have ordered from here we get delivered the wrong order. My partner once ordered a bottle of red and it was half drunk. We have received the wrong pizza on several occasions. One time a bottle of wine was delivered with our order and it was off. I will say though that ALL of your delivery people are lovely. I've just ordered for the last time.

Worst pizza ever. I wasn't sure if you could stuff up a margherita pizza but this place somehow makes it possible.. Looked like cooked tomato paste on bread and tasted even worse. Don't even think about going here

Not very good.. We ordered a large Super Supreme on a deep pan base, to be delivered. The pizza arrived in good time but it was a disapointment to eat. The base was not deep pan as requested, but thin and tough. It looked like a premade supermarket base. The pizza had some kind of bbq flavoured sauce instead of a tomato base as described in the menu. The pizza was edible but not delicious. It was a disapointment and a waste of money. We have been long time irregular customers but the quality has deteriorated and we will not be back next time we want a pizza.

From a former employee: Stay Away!. I used to work at La Casareccia. I would recommend most people to stay away. Poor quality ingredients, hygiene not top notch; staff overworked and understaffed hence the hit and miss of customers' orders. Expensive for what you get. Pros is that they open till very late, 5 am Friday and Saturday nights.

What did they get wrong this time?. I like to guess in advance which part of my order they'll mess up. Sauce, drink, pizza extras, entire pizza.<br/>The plus side is they're open late. Just don't expect to get what you ordered.<br/>We moved house recently and have ordered from here 4 times since then. We got the wrong ice cream in one order, wrong sauce in another and were missing the pizza toppings which we paid extra for in another.<br/><br/>Oh and it seems they realise how bad they are since they've opened several duplicate accounts on menulog (ref My Room Service).<br/><br/>The chips are sometimes good. So there's something nice.

Lost a loyal customer.. I've ordered from La Casareccia many times in the past and I can honestly say that 80% of my orders arrive without having followed instructions. Comments are regularly ignored and special instructions aren't followed. The pizza tastes good, but if the staff there can't follow simple instructions (E.g. extra mozzarella and pineapple) then I don't know how they stay in business. Last week was the last order I will ever make at their restaurant. I ordered two simple pizzas and one pizza arrived that clearly wasn't mine (An olive and ham pizza instead of a Hawaiian pizza) and two slices were missing!!!! I kid you not! When I called and asked about it the manager said he would re-send my pizza, but when the replacement arrived it was a ham pizza with no other toppings. A lousy apology and clearly not what I had paid extra for. (If you charge for extra ingredients then they need to be on the pizza! So simple!). When I then asked for a coupon or voucher for my next purchase they ignored me. Thus they have now lost a very loyal customer. :( Terrible service.

Double deal. Ordered via the App, two burgers and the wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce plus $5 delivery fee to be delivered at or after 9:30 p.m.<br/>At just after 7p.m. there is a knock on the door and there is our food. We were not pleased by the early arrival but we are reasonable people and mistakes happen so we accepted it.<br/>The burgers were acceptable but the rolls smelt funny, like they had been frozen and thawed the day before.<br/>The wedges were really nice but the sweet chilli sauce was missing. Okay, we had some in the fridge so that was okay.<br/>Ate the meal and sat back down to relax.<br/>30 minutes later there is another knock on the door and another delivery man standing there with a duplicate order.<br/>I explained that we originally ordered for after 9:30 but we already had a delivery at 7p.m.<br/>He asked " Are you sure?"<br/>"Well yes, we already ate it, do you want to see the empty containers?"<br/>Okay he says and walks away.<br/>Hope they haven't charged us for both meals.......

Used to be good. Used this place a lot earlier this year. Gone down hill, just ordered a pasta delivary told me on the phone it was $20, guy arrived it was $25. Didn't tell me there was a $20 minimum if I had have known that I would have ordered more food to take it up to $20 instead I paid $10 for delivary. Pasta was half the size it used to be more like an entree. Never again.

Unfortunately really poor. I've given this place a few chances as I live near by but it has not failed to disappoint each time. The service is poor (I don't blame them, they are illegally paid $10 an hour) and food isn't much better. Fast food is never amazing but this is below usual standards. The time it takes them to make it is impressively slow.<br/><br/>But on a plus point, I'm still going to enjoy this food as I've had a few drinks and it's nearly Christmas!

Yet another crap review! Poor quality food & delivery service.. My kids have finished school, so they were at home. I ordered pizza's & parma online at work about 12:30<br/>Around 2:30 pizza came with no Parmas. Parmas arrived about 3:15. I spent $38 on parmas that didnt get eaten because the kids got so hungry they made 2 min noodles. And to top it off the were burnt & dry! Pretty crap service & poor quality food. Never again, ta boot lunch costed nearly $100 bucks and the dog got the parmas

Not worth the wait. We ordered via the website at 7.45, confirmation message said delivery at 8.47. Awesome. At 9.20 no pizza, called was put on hold for forever, finally after stating order and phone number several times, informed order had not been received but pizza would be 15 minutes. At 10, still no pizza, called informed just around the corner complained about 2.5 hour wait ( I was starrrrving) given 50% discount. Pizza arrives 10.30, driver unaware of discount, rings store negotiates price, finally sit down to eat 'fast tracked pizza'. Cold! So disappointing.

Mouldy pizza. Worst pizza ever! My base was mouldy and the crust was rock hard and in edible. 26$ on a pizza we couldn't eat.

Never again..... Dreadful is an understatement! Two phone calls later and after waiting almost 3hours for two pizzas to be home delivered, the delivery guy rocks up with his doof doof music pumping at 1am leaving it blaring while he comes to the door. He then proceeds to charge me $50 which was not what had been stated on the phone. After advising him of this he starts waving around the receipt, by this stage I was completely over it and paid without further argument. Pizza was tasteless, small and one squashed from the other box being sat on it. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

The worst thing I've ever tasted.. Absolutely disgusting is the only work I have for this store. I ordered a meat souvlaki and a chicken Parma. The souvlaki tasted like feet. It was so horrible I didn't even finish it. The chips from the Parma tasted off and cold. The salad is just normal pieces of your ordinary salad with NO dressing so it's plain as hell. the Parma was burned and tasted like one of those ones you buy from Safeway or Coles. Won't be coming here again.

I ordered a vegetarian lasagne from this place through an app, and after about 60 minutes was delivered a meat lasagne. I called up and they sent me a vegetarian replacement about 40 minutes later—which was cold, bland and undercooked. No apology was offered, but the staff wasn't outright rude either. Having come on to Urbanspoon to check out other reviews, the thing that weirds me out the most is the bizarre 'La Casareccia would prefer not to be listed' title. Very weird attitude. I will be avoiding this place in future.

Abhorrent customer service, and literally stole my money. I ordered online late on Friday night, got a confirmation text but no food. It just never turned up. No phone call, nothing. By the time I realised it wasn't coming, the restaurant was closed. I then didn't have the time to call up about it until Sunday, and when I did I was met with an incredibly abrasive repetition of 'well why didn't you call on Saturday?' And was told there was nothing they could do. I paid via PayPal so am currently following up with the online ordering company (whose customer service department are amazing).

Don't bother with home delivery. These guys actually do great pizzas if you order over the phone or in store, and only pick up or dine in.<br/>Last time we ate in store, we had great service, great pizzas, toppings were changed and our whole order was correct.<br/><br/>Last night when we ordered online for the first time we were charged a delivery fee (that you aren't charged when you order over the phone), it came about an hour and a half later (we live only two blocks away) and to top it off my 'Vegan Feast pizza with cheese' instead came as a 'Vegan Feast pizza with no cheese, but here's some anchovies instead'..!! Will not be ordering online or delivery again.

Sorely dissapointed. I was in hospital at the Royal Melbourne. I was in a car accident and had not eaten all day. I was starving and ordered my food an hour before midnight when they had finally put me in a ward bed. The food took ages and I ordered late, so I figured they closed without getting my order, I was wrong. The food was cold, the drinks warm, I was overcharged for the water and the thick-shake I ordered was a milkshake with extra flavoured syrup (yuk)! It also took forever and the delivery guy kept ringing my number abusing me. He kept saying he was not coming in to the nurses desk and he is lost (even though detailing it on the order and explaining it to him on the phone-he still could not find the emergency entry :/ and refused to listen or move from his cars area) and then he kept repeating that he was going to get a fine for parking in a taxi zone (more like in a parking behind a taxi) on a Sunday at 1am. So, not only does the food suck but somehow the drinks do too...and the customer service was shocking. He felt bad (or prob faked it) when I came out in a gown with a blanket over me barefoot on a cold night with my neck brace on, this happened a few times and then finally with help of a nurse. I nearly gave up and told him to shove it, hadn't I prepaid via Paypal. But when your starving and in pain and they are the only place open I guess you could try them if they don't upset you too much. I hope this review helps someone like me bc when I was looking for more information about the places I wanted to order from the reviews didn't help much.

Don't order home delivered food from here unless you like cold chips, cold souvlaki, cold burgers and cold garlic bread. Phoned to check on order as it had not arrived. Was told it had left the restaurant over 10 minutes ago. We waited a further 12 minutes and took delivery of $42 worth of cold food. The driver must have called into McDonalds on his way to buy a burger whilst our food went cold on the back seat. <br/>Order your home delivery elsewhere

It's not me it's you.. Last night I broke up with an old love. I am sad, but it had to end. For the last few months I knew things were going wrong and that I had to end it, once and for all. But as it was a dark and rainy winter night, the best sort to snuggle down with a pizza or two, I found myself looking with nostalgia at my old love and wondered, maybe it would be alright. My fingers hesitated as the last few times we were together things had not gone at all well. I now regret everything. I have been reminded of all the flaws in the relationship. So I have to tell you what they are so we can both move on. Firstly, you always forget the most important thing, the things that I have asked you remember. Secondly, you always keep me waiting. Thirdly, you are sometimes cold and not always what you appear. So goodbye my dear friend. I hope you find a way to improve yourself as otherwise you may end up waiting for the phone to ring and wondering where it all went wrong. Please for your own good think and listen.

La Casareccia. I live a couple of blocks away, and I'm too lazy to walk the distance when I'm half stung. Even so, La Cas still manage to scrub up like crap. When they figure out that their great workforce of Muslim delivery guys are getting a lot of tips, they get around them by constantly raising their prices..<br/>(A) let's raise the charge for going two blocks in Nth Melbourne to $20 in order to discourage this guy, two blocks away, from tipping our student drivers.<br/>(B) if this doesn't work, let's start levering "delivery charges". Let's start with $2.50 and see what can be done from there.

Ordered the Mexican Parma with wedges. Was awsome! Massive, tasty and absolutely hit the spot!

Just don't. I ordered a be.... Just don't. <br/>I ordered a beef burger and a small chips with a coke. 1 hour 10 mins later food arrived. <br/>Get it inside look at it and it's a chicken burger and large wedges. No drink. <br/>Rang straight away and the lady on the phone figured out they had sent the wrong order. Really? Are you high? <br/>Then they said they would send the right one out and I said I'm really hungry now is it going to take over an hour again? "Definitely not" she replied. <br/>Over an hour later correct order arrives and it's cold and soggy with no sorry.<br/>Safe to say I should have read these reviews before ordering. Don't bother people!

Awful, we waited over two hours for delivery, when we were advised the wait would be 45 min. The food arrived cold and pizzas were hard, Not recommend it at all waste of time and money

So, we ordered dinner from this "restaurant" for dinner.... You want my opinion? Don't even bother. We ordered the mushroom pasta ( this had a deep pool of oil in it and was only half full) a cappiciosa ( this was cold) and lastly a chicken schnitzel which was clearly from the supermarket, the salad looked old and the wedges did not seem to be home made either... My dog enjoyed it even though I spent $45 on the food. This place did not make the cut. And maybe it's better if you just go to the supermarket and buy frozen food instead of waste money on this so called restaurant..... I'm quite disappointed.

Emma. I ordered seafood deluxe which was no joke 3 calamri rings 1 dim sim i scallop and a prawn all which looked could of gotten from local grocer in frozen section for cheaper. The chips did not arrive and the order was over half an our late. Will never order from here again

Gave my order at around 7pm got it at around 8.40 which was fine but never received the pizza I ordered which I then still had to pay for. Called them to let them know and they said they would send another one waited another hour and nothing. So I had to call again and this time they said it got delivered to the wrong address and then she just hang up... is this place run my children or what!!! Never buying from here again such poor service

An hour and half for a vegetarian lasagne. *Delivery* Ordered a Vegetarian lasagne at 7:10pm, received my order at 7:50 which is fine, pretty standard. Took a couple of bites and realised it was a meat lasagne. Called up to complain, tried to be rather nice about it, people do make mistakes after all, 8:35pm and still have received nothing, you'd think that after making a mistake like that it would be here ASAP but apparently not. Called back to complain and voiced my displeasure, still being very calm and nice, only to be informed it will be another 10-15 minutes! For their mistake! Not a single offer of compensation and really did not sound genuinely sorry. Never again!

Disappointed. I’m always up for trying new places, especially when they have vegan/vegetarian friendly options. Tonight I ordered the vegan pizza (thin crust but came as a thick deep pan style crust) and a side order of steamed vegetables. Delivery took 15 minutes longer than expected which I wouldn’t have batted an eye at if the food had been good, but unfortunately it arrived cold and soggy. <br/>First off, I ordered a thin crust pizza and I definitely received either a normal or deep dish pizza. The base was super doughy and slimy which really sucks because if it had been good and cooked well, I wouldn’t have minded so much that they got my order wrong. Ate one whole slice and the toppings off the rest because it was just plain gross and although I was hungry, I couldn’t stomach any more.<br/>The side of steamed veggies was a joke, if they weren’t cooked from frozen then shame on whomever cooked them! To quote someone from their business: “We don't use frozen ingredients unless fresh is not available (such as seafood), mostly fresh ingredients prepared daily." So I have to assume they used fresh vegetables. So over-cooked and soggy, would have preferred to spend that $5.50 on fresh vegetables had I known it would be that awful. Not to mention it was hardly a decent serve for $5.50, just saying.<br/>Next time I feel like pizza I will just ask my local pizza shop to alter their vegetarian pizza for me! <br/><br/>It’s a big bummer because I really wanted to like this place.

Well there service on the phone was polite and we were confident all would be fine .. BUT alas the order was anything but correct !!! OR edible ... So much fake pre Jared garlic that should have been extra cheese, and a mega thick crust ... thin crust,,( was ordered) that we could not eat it... My partner was extremely polite and CLEAR, when placing the order AND tipped $4.00.. end rant ...... SHOULDA HAD TOAST AND SAVED $35

Every now an again I feel like a pub parma at home and these guys do a HUGE parma with lots o different toppings comes with chips salad or veg and best of all really tasty gravy. Its pretty good all round. The chips can be a bit soggy but can't do much about it, when its takeaway. I have tried their lasanga and it wasn't much chop but I never expect allot from pizza places. Anyhow I like the fact they are open late and offer a range of pretty good takeaway.

Hi men and women, this place does pretty good pizza, but to really up the ante on your pizza experience, take some ranch sauce outta the fridge and put some of that on your pizza, it really ups the ante and it tastes gr8. <br/><br/>p.s if you really wanna up the ante on your pizza eating invite some hot babes round to share the fun! la casareccia is a gr8 icebreaker if you wanna meat and get to know some new people

Ordered delivery. Was told would take one hour. After 1.5hrs I rang to check where it was, a rude girl called Danielle said it would be there any minute and hung up on me. It arrived 30 minutes later. I ordered pasta and received a cold, disgusting, gelatinous mess dripping in oil. The fettuccine was cheap and a lurid, neon green colour. The sauce was supposed to have mushrooms and chicken but there was barely any of either and the chicken was barely worthy of being called as such. To top it off, I'm now starting to feel ill so who knows what was really in it or how fresh it was. No apology or discount offered for lateness. Will NEVER be back.

Thursday night pizza. I really like this place; whoever makes the pizzas on Thursday nights does a really good job :)

Needs to up their game. We've been getting pizzas off these guys now for a while and while they started off good, the past couple months the deliveries have been arriving cold and they have mixed up the orders a few times in regards to thin crust, thick crust etc. We get a fair few pizzas during the week usually, maybe 3 or more perhaps so maybe their used to us haha... Also we have about 500 menus that they keep delivering along with the pizza even though we've told them not to,we've already got plenty.. C'mon guys lift your game, your pizzas used to be awesome, I don't wanna have to switch over to crust pizzas cos they suck, so get cracking..cheers

Generally pretty good! However, tonight's Mediterranean wasn't amazing. Delivery came in about 20mins while it looks like its been sitting around for the last half hour!

Ok.. The quality of the pizzas here aren't too bad. it's probably one of those places to satisfy your cravings. the pricing for the meal plus drinks is reasonable too.

The deep pan base is one of the best I've had, but it's a pity the topping was a bit bland and the pizza overpriced.

Happy eater. I have ordered pizza from here a few times since moving to Thornbury, tonight I couldn't find my menu so went to look it up online. I was totally shocked at how many bad reviews this place has!! It nearly put me of ordering, previously my only ever concern has been how young the kids sound who take my order despite being very professional about it. But luckily I have had my own bad experiences with Pizza Hut so went ahead and ordered the Franco without onion or garlic with extra pineapple and it was delicious!! Will continue to get my pizza from this family place and hope other regulars rant put off by if they too have had good service in the past!

Old faithful - whenever you need a pizza or milkshake at whatever time of te night, these guys are it. Pizza is not too bad, drivers are nice, staff are coherent and are able to deal with some crazy orders. Good deals and quick delivery, reccomend the vegan feast with cheese and ham.

7/10 not the best pizza in the area but still edible. lots of toppings

Meh. The pizza is so-so. It's not bad but it's certainly not the best I could get in the area, it's to be honest a bit dry for my tastes.<br/><br/>I'm also a bit erked that they spammed my house with flyers and menus about the website they were setting up, which turned out to be a .pdf file of the menu after going to their "website."<br/><br/>It's also not a problem with their delivery drivers, but I think something with their computer systems, that sends out their drivers to your house even if you specified to deliver it elsewhere. Late night at a friends house? Expect a pizza delivered at your empty house one suburb over.

Gone downhill. Inedible. Wins the prize for worst lasagne ever. In the bin.. This used to be my go-to pizza place for many years. The pizza was quite good. I emphasise WAS. Unfortunately for them they fell victim to my "3 strikes, you're out" policy. We've had vegetarian pasta dishes show up with meat in them and other pasta dishes with 3 types of pasta in them. There's been cold and soggy pizza and at the other end of the scale, pizza burnt to an inedible crisp. That went in the bin. On that occasion we also ordered a garden salad - a health hazard with it's very own little ecosystem breeding god knows what. On top it looked ok, but the bottom half of it was black, slimy lettuce that was probably a week past it's use-by. The fact that they had the cheek to deliberately and knowingly conceal it and charge 8 bucks for it is absolutely appalling. But it was their lasagne that really took the cake. Flabby lasagne sheets with a tomato sauce that tasted like tinned spaghetti and a tablespoon of meat thrown in. Worst lasagne. EVER. I kid you not, not even the dog would eat it. In the bin!<br/><br/>On a positive note, their pollo fungi dish is consistently good, but that's not enough to bring me back as a customer.<br/><br/>In response to Mrs. L, I'd like to challenge you on a few things. I've tried their pizza, and in my experience, it is not always awesome, it is usually horrid. I'm also not familiar with the concept of the stupidity of ordering a MAIN from a pizza joint. I can challenge this using the Pollo Funghi dish as an example. The suggestion that I'm only supposed to order from one page of a four page menu (that puts some Asian menus to shame) is, well, just plain silly. But then, like, maybe I'm like dumb or something.<br/><br/>In conclusion I'd just like to draw everybody's attention to the glowing July 4th reviews by 'one review people,' in particular the reviews by ladidar. You might want to exercise a little discretion or learn the art of subtlety if you want to defraud ratings. Roar.

Never Again. I used to love the pizza's from this place however the last 6 months they have been fast going down hill. Not sure if its a new pizza oven or what the problem is (they told me they dont have new pizza chefs) but the pizza's are now under cooked, doughy and the thin crust pizza's are thicker than what you would get deep pan from Pizza Hut - just horrible.<br/><br/>Pizza's are always cold by the time they are delivered also.<br/><br/>I'd been buying pizza's from here for a few years but when I phoned last night to complain, they didnt give a flying .... and even said that they "werent allowed" to return pizza's - despite speaking with what was supposed to be management.<br/><br/>Posted a pic of what they call "thin crust". If that's thin I'd hate to see thick!<br/><br/>They've lost a customer.
