Awesome country pub. Good house beer selection and knowledgeable staff. Food was spot on, Brisket Burger was disintegrating in our month, Japanese Chicken Burger was perfectly cooked and my favourite the Spicy Parma, juicy and full of flavour despite the hot ingredients as it should be. Great job
Really good county pub. Super friendly staff and owners. Classic pub food. Quickly served. Very nice beers, with a good range. Parking is easy. They had an inside and outside fire.
Quite simply the perfect country pub. Food was great, beer was delicious and the log fire was warm. We even played a few games of pool. Couldn't ask for a better Sunday afternoon in winter
Amazing parma, kids meals are a good size. The beer is delicious. (Edit -Second visit). Amazing meals againg but....... kids ice cream was so small and didnt have enough chocolate sauce (from the kids :p)

We had a lovely (seniors) outside on the front Vera dog with our pets. Get service lovely food .
We called in for a quick bite on passing, and were thrilled with the service, choice of menu and range of beers. Our waitress was polite and helpful, especially when choosing the right beer. Meal was perfect and we were glad we shared :-)
Wow! What a great place to visit. Several specially beers to choose from. Pale Ales to heavy ones. A great environment to dine and taste the varies beers. Friendly staff, huge meals in a well appointed National Trust Hotel
