Review The Cola Cafe - Toodyay

Brett Holland
Quite a busy cafe on the weekend. Lots of people there so very popular. A very good selection of food and drink to have. Staff were very helpful and friendly so everyone felt very welcome. Quite a big selection of Coca Cola memorabilia spread out across the cafe which was very interesting. Highly recommended and will certainly return again.

I was surprised to find this in Toodyay. The Cola Cafe is a homage to Coke-a-Cola, both a cafe and an interesting museum of Coke-a-Cola memorabilia from across the decades.

The milk shake and iced chocolate was good. Unfortunately that’s it. The food was bad. The “all American” theme might be misused. I have had “all American” breakfast before, and it is not like that. The beef steak was off with a weird taste. The egg Benedict hollandaise sauce didn’t taste right. The coke cola collection was impressive but the place needs a renovation update as it looks tired. I completely understand how this place serves the community and many visitors would visit this iconic eatery. But it needs to maintain a better quality standard in terms of the food and service, if not it may not survive the test of time. It was an overall disappointing experience.

Absolutely loved our visit here! So much memorabilia and amazing to see how Coka-cola has changed over the years. The food was also very good, plenty of flavour and lots to choose from.

Great little place for breakfast all day, burgers and drinks. Staff are friendly. The only mistake was mine, ordering a vegan drink by mistake. 😳Great place also for the coke museum. Good alternative for the pub lunch

Spur of the moment decision for a Sunday drive to the country. Decided we would head to Toodyay for the day. Drive time was about an hour. Feeling a little peckish, we spotted the Cola Cafe and Musuem was opened. Found the staff very friendly and chatty (you really have no choice when you meet me but to chat lol ). Spotted on the menu “Spider drink” omgoodness who remembers those. Decided to go with coffee. Food didn’t take to long to arrive, very tasty meal. Intrigued by this quirky place with all the Coca Cola memorabilia, spotted the beloved childhood toy “The Yo-yo” wow the tricks we used to do with the yo-yo. Rock the baby, around the world ect ect Any way if you are passing through Toodyay make a point of calling into the cafe even if it is for a coffee break. Enjoy no

I had the best Banana Thick shake ever...it even had ice cream and malt in it. Rare these days. Food wasn't bad either. Totally recommend this place if your visiting Toodyay, A+ from me.

Came in at 3pm said there kitchen was closed ordered my drink (orange juice) was the other up didn't even taste like orange juice it's was basically half full. Then ten minutes later i see three staff come walking out with there lunch!!! If kitchen is closed kitchen is closed you would rather not earn money then turn away customers when your kitchen is open!

Terrific. Great staff, excellent menu and reasonable prices for quality food!! I motorcycle to Toodyay at least once a week weather permitting and I always make a point at stopping for a break at this great Cafe. A lovely town in the Avon Valley where I have met many friendly people during my visits.

The chicken fingers were so tender & my hotdog well was best I've ever had. I was disappointed with the fries very blend n ordinary, not what I was expecting from a Coca Cola Cafe. But my son & I cleaned our plates. Fantastic atmosphere & museum. Well worth it.

I liked how the staff were knowledgeable about my coeliac disease and were able to guide me in my food selection.

Top place to stop when out for a country ride on the bike. Great service, good food and coffee and reasonably priced. With a good view of the Main Street to watch the bikes come and go and visor cleaning facilities as well what's not to like

My husband has been here several times with friends on their bike rides, he told me it was a great place, so today we went together in the car. Took us 1hr 20mins to get there, but it was worth it. Great, quick service, food was really good and the coffee was too. I loved seeing the Coke museum, great stuff in there.
