Review Fiorini's Restaurant & Bar - Toorak

Very nice pizza and pasta. The food was great, the presentation needs some rethinking. Very nice restaurant, good service. You will enjoy.

Gotta say I am very impressed by this place. Food was delicious, plentiful and well presented. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection, a great serving size and came with yummy grilled veggie sides. And best of all - the Staff are lovely people who are attentive and welcoming. This was my first visit but I will definitely be back again and next time I’m trying the Lamb or maybe the steak. Too many great choices.

I'm a local & have seen Fiorini's through three lots of owners. Husband & I went on Night 3 under new ownership & were most impressed. Friendly atmosphere, the restaurant has been spruced up & has a nice feel to it, they are eager to please & the food is really very good. I had spaghetti marinara, husband had pork belly & we shared some pavlova. It was such a nice relaxing meal. There's variety (but it's stayed true to its roots/name), generous portion sizes, well-priced & coffee is excellent. Well worth a try!

Thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at Fiorini's tonight! The waiter was professional and efficient and the new owner was welcoming and friendly. The menu has something for everyone, I ordered the gnocchi with mushrooms and it was delicious, as to was the garlic flat bread so much so that a second serving was ordered! I will definitely be back!

Nepalese curry was fantastic and the staff are super friendly and attentive. Great local dinner spot.

Very nice staff pizzas take away very nice 👌

Very pleasant dinner, we had arancini balls followed by the nepalese curry. Very good service.

Happy to pay $45 for a pizza and lasagne but expect them to be decent at worst. Pizza was one of the worst I've ever had, very sloppy and soggy, and my wife said the sauce tasted like it was straight from a Woolworths jar. Will not be coming back here unfortunately.

What a seriously amazing Italian restaurant located right in the heart of Toorak.

If you're looking for a homely Italian atmosphere with delicious food to match, visit Fiorinis in Toorak and you won't be disappointed!
Food ❤️❤️

Very good service always and food is super delicious!

The ham is processed, not Virginia. The chips are shoestring from the supermarket, served soggy. Disappointing customer service. We took our takeaway back and asked for a refund but the owners refused. Perhaps we just ordered the wrong item but it wasn't good.

I had a date with Ms Curly Fries and unfortunately the restaurant we were planning on going to had a power outage *insert crying face* so of course, being the spontaneous people we were, we made our way Toorak road in search for a new date place. Reaching towards the end of the street, we eyed a quiet Italian restaurant, Fiorini’s Pizza & Italian and in we went. The staff were super duper friendly and were so patient as we looked over the menu to decide what we wanted to have.

The food overall is up to expectation, middle of the road. What is not expected is the disdainful arrogant attitude of the white haired owner when challenged over the overpriced bruschetta. Unbelievable that they would charge $13.90 for 1 tiny piece . Nowhere are you warned that the serve is a single small slice. The bruschetta itself is good, but the price is absurd.
Spoiled an otherwise good meal.

A very delicious and authentic Italian place. It is in a perfect location in the heart of toorak village. Food is delicious and service is great 👌🏽❤️🐷

4/5 - we had delivery and to be honest... It was almost a flop as 155 minutes later it arrived. That was nearly enough to make me go nuts but the lady on the phone was apologetic.

But - the chicken pizza was great. Really fresh and hot and lots of toppings. The $8 salad was also really good and full of flavour. The bolognese was meant to be penne but was spaghetti but no big deal. The little one loved it.

Garlic bread was AMAZING. Loads of garlic and lots of fresh herbs. The garlic pizza though was not great as the garlic burned and was bitter and had no cheese on it.

Really nice food though and it would be a 2/5 as it was so long the wait but the food was great even though it was 1.5 hours late after the time advised. Thanks to the lady on the phone who helped too!

A local gem. Haven't had anything here that wasn't delicious. Especially like the gnocchi! Lovely atmosphere and the staff are helpful friendly and welcoming.

Great food, great service!

Overall, we rate Fiorini's 7/10. The food was arguably 'mediocre' however, the service was topnotch and very delightful. Bonus points to the waitress with the tied up curly hair. Very pleasant and attentive. She even ran down the road to give a customer a takeaway order they'd forgotten!

With my wife and I celebrating our 20th anniversary last Thursday, I was hoping to treat her to a delicious, but affordable meal. Not to mention that the waiter called me a twerp. Although he said it in jest, it didn't sit the right way with me. One positive out of the event was that I found $20 on the ground, so that paid for my meal.

Italian Restaurant - Toorak Road. Superb food small italian restaurant, pasta and veal were the best I have ever had in Austalia, and I have been to Italy 3 times and this food was up there with the best.
The services was also fantastic, will be going there again when we are back in Melbourne

Eye Filet. I had a medium to well Yarra Valley Angus Beef from the daily specials and it came out really tender and tasty, perfect to my liking. I will come again

Many years ago I had eaten here and from memory was a pleasant experience. Searching in Toorak for delivery I come across Fiorinis and proceed to order a meal I would have rather used visiting the local burger joint.. Lasagne sloppy and obvious it is "zap happy" leftovers from leftovers. Equally my friends penne bolognese reminds her of a bayonet in the western suburbs and overall a disappointing night with wasted carbs. If you are looking for a school camp memory lane, eat at fiorinis

Not too bad, went there a few nights ago, the place was near empty and we still waited at least 40 mins for out mains, we were a small party so unsure what the delay was. Good food and good service it perhaps don't go there starving because theres a bit of a wait

Unbelievable service and food. My family love to dine out regularly, and we have a soft spot for authentic Italian food. Thus, we have tried multiple Italian restaurants, but this is by far the best. On Saturday night, we were taken back by the service, and quality of the food. It was true authentic Italian culinary delights. We will definitely be back there again in the near future. This is the place to go for anyone who enjoys great food! Thank you to the staff at Fiorini's for bringing the authenticity of traditional cultural Italian cuisine for us all to experience.

Fantastic Pizza!. Having moved to Melbourne from the NYC area i was on the search for great pizza...until i found Fiorini's! The dough is wonderfully crisp and the sauce has the perfect amount of italian spice. I have ordered delivery and it always arrives quickly and warm. I have also ate at the restaurant and found the waitstaff and employees to be very friendly. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant!

I've been to this restaurant 3 times now and always been impressed. Great, authentic Italian food. Good wine and a nice atmosphere. I'll keep coming back.

AWFUL. We were out for an easy night. Nothing flash but looking for a good feed.
Really bad karma from the woman hovering over the cash register.
Greasy old wooden tables and cutlery that needed a clean - and that was before we sat down - and then lousy table service.
The food when it came was out looked OK but the sizes were very small. Try $31 for two small flathead tails, sauce in large shell and flaccid salad. Even the embarrassed table server looked away when she saw our reaction.
We read the earlier reviews and can only think they are bogus given our experience here. We're realistic people but avoid this place and walk down the road.
REALLY AWFUL PLACE. AVOID.

You know the drill - pizzas, pasta, chicken, veal etc etc. It' s Italian and they all seem to be the same - but somehow this one just does it better. The food is really good and serves are generous. Friendly family atmosphere in cosy dark timber surroundings. We eat here at least once a month and are never disappointed.

Too dear , Food Ok. Don't order anything but Pizza. Pasta dishes etc are minute in size and too expensive for what you get. Little wonder it is empty half the time.

Pizza at it's best. You are looking for the true Italian taste of Pizza and Pasta?
You found it. Fiorini's will not disappoint. The ambiance true Italian with its charm and its pleasant staff.
Went again last night and it was F A N T A S T I C O.
I can say, that I have eaten Pizza nearly everywhere in the world. Maurizo's Pizza is in my opinion one of the best you can taste outside Verona. The base very original, and I highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Never been disappointed, never experienced lack in quality of food preparation or service - true Italiana , dolce vita and Buon Appetito

Best pizza in Melbourne! Haven't tried anything else on the menu because can't go past the pizza. Toppings are amazing with great quality ingredients.

Delicious!. I went to Fiorini's last night, was just in the area and thought we would try somewhere new. My partner and I shared a margarita pizza as our entre and it was yummo! Our steak which was listed as a special was really tender and the mushroom sauce was delicious! The side of chips and veggies were also really nice and a perfect amount. Service was great with staff accommodating to our Gluten Free dietary requirement. We left feeling so full, very satisfied and with change in our pockets! Will definitely be going back again soon! Thank you! :)

Great. We now eat there every Friday night with some of our family. Why? Because everything about the place we love: service staff are polite friendly and fast: food is tasty: atmosphere is warm and homely: quick service: just love it!
I shouldn't share this with too many people, but we have a permanent Friday night table so it doesn't matter if it gets busy: Try the Al Burro because I think it is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. And we love Maria and Mauritzio.

So nice yet frustrating. Flavours are pretty good, mushroom sauce & Vegies. Pizza is oily but tasty. However......yes there is always a however, the steak was so small, for $32 like maybe 100gms! & the clown cooking needs to know that med is not well done, but when a steak is only 1cm thick......still it was quite tender. I have had steak here before and it was tasty and much better.
I think the owner was on the floor so service was ok, tonight's waiter was the usual we get these days.
Needs tidy up, but better than Romeos. Ok for outer burbs but not Toorak prices!
They need to eat a steak at Charcoal Grill on the Hill to see what a great steak is like.
One more try.....maybe
Barbara Lndsy
Cheaper than Romeo's and easier to get a table, although at romeos you get better salad/veges. My steak was very nice. Friend had the quail - the mushroom sauce was delicious and flathead was well enjoyed too. Definitly good food.

OMG. Heard quite a lot abt fiorinis on Toorak, and thought I'd give it a try. Let's see;
- welcome bad; got our bookings mixed up which caused problems when another bookee came.
- kept on pestering us to make an order, I'm pretty sure when I say "5 more minutes', I mean 5 not 1.
- food was made quite promptly, but was left sitting on the counter for 15mins while the staff casually chatted with each other
- food came finally, luke warm.
- the portions were small for any dish order
- the pizzas lacking taste n warmth, I believe that this pizza joint can't beat Sofias pizza! And that should say something!

Overall ranking out of 5 stars, I'd give 1 star, 1 and a half if I'm feeling generous.

Came here after hearing good things. I now look back on it as one of my most disappointing dining experiences in years. The food portions were woefully small, which frustrated me considering the hefty price. Sorry to go against all the other reviews - maybe I went on a bad night, but once is enough and I will not be dining there again.

Eat here a month ago due to an online deal. Restaurant had a good feel about it and was well presented. The food was excellent and came out in good time. The waiting staff were ok but need a little push now & again. Overall would recommend!

Don't be fooled by the exterior. This place is well worth a visit. It looks and feels like a pizza joint from the 1920's and you almost expect to see the patricarical godfather eating his meatballs in the corner. The food is great and servicevfantastic. Can be a bit squishy at times depending on how many folk are there.

What a great place for Italian food. Located on a busy Toorak Rd in Toorak with efficient and friendly service, provided good tasty and yummy of food. Especially the Funghi pasta, creamy, tasty but not too rich. Love the Siciliana on entree section, come along with pommarola, mozzarella, ham, eggplant, olives and basilico. Yumm...
Ichigo Shortcake
It serves traditional Italian dishes such as pizza and pasta but also offers steaks and other mains if that's what you fancy. The friend said she goes there all the time for lunch so I thought, this place must be on Urbanspoon! I couldn't have been more wrong. It looks like Urbanspoon still has a long way to go in terms of small suburban restaurants like this. Anyway,
