Review Thai Royal Restaurant - Toowoomba

Lovely food. Very tasty and generous sized serves

Discovered Thai Royal 6 years ago, and been regular customer since. We’ve eaten many Pad Thai throughout qld and once or twice interstate, but nowhere else does it quite as good. Chewy noodles, tangy tamarind sauce. I suggest asking for a slice of lemon, it really takes the whole thing to another level. Their fish cakes are great, sauce is amazing without being too sweet. Hofan has nice smokey flavour, Masaman curry and barramundi ginger all done very well. Staff are always amazing every single time. Very accomodating. Well priced. This place serves up the most memorable flavours, with the best pad Thai I’ve had so far. Well deserved 5 stars.

Pad Thai was too sweet. Thai beef salad was probably the worst I have had in many years. The beef was boiled? Hard to chew. Deep fried tofu was tasteless. Staff was friendly 👍

Ordered lunch sets cashew nut and ho fan. Normal dishes for me. The tom yum was a bit sour and “lemon-grassy” for me. Still 3.2⭐️, may try their curry next time. 5: Recommended！ 4: We will be back 3: Worth trying 2: Regretted to try 1: Recommended in another way

Watery and dumped with loads of vegetables. Little to no meat and mostly tasteless. Lots of parking behind the shop, service was ok.

Hmmm. Quite disappointed about this place because of their award claims. I've been to lots of thai restaurants before but this one did not taste authentic at all.

Do not waste your time or your hard earned..There is nothing Royal or Thai about this place...The chef is not Thai..The food is not Thai...I had lunch today at this establishment with a Thai Chef...She could not eat her meal..it was inedible. The pork was old, I dare say a day or so from being off. My meal was absolute rubbish...The lovely wait staff informed the chef of our displeasure of the the dogs breakfast he served up...he was not the slightest bit interested...good luck to you chef...you won't be around for too long if you pump out rubbish like today...korb khun muk Krub!

Since moving from Toowoomba 8 years ago, I really missed this place! I returned today to enjoy those beautiful, fresh flavours all over again. This gem of a restaurant is a relaxing place to dine and the service is brilliant. As for the food......exceptional! Thank you ��

Very poor, service was unfriendly, table was cramped, staff were unhelpful . Lamb dish was tough, couldn't get our bill, then to top it off we needed to stand in a que for 10 minutes while they took takeaway orders only to be told by the staff we were being impatient. I will definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Toowoomba.

Just took mum to my favourite restaurant for her first time, she had a wonderful experience. The freshness, quality and quantity of our food was very impressive . The customer service and all around experience we had was awesome.

Just about the best Thai food I ve had in a long time :-) was greatly impressed with the service as well as the food. Definitely pocketed as a favorite and will be frequenting it often while in town :D

Loved dinning here. If I am ever in town again I will definitely be coming back. Very friendly, quick service and made sure we were happy. Head chef makes sure his kitchen runs smoothly and it shows.

Went on a busy night for a Tuesday, and the service and food was great. Had a good time, would recommend.

Food is fantastic and the service is great. The only downside is that it is fairly squashy and small.

Terrible customer service. Had to chase up parts of our order twice. Took 45+ mins to be served our drinks.

This is at the Margaret St restaurant: I went for lunch during the week & food was lovely so decided to go for dinner later in the week however when we walked in, asked if 'youse were right?', said we'd like a table for 2, the guy hesitated said oh, um, give me a moment, he walked to the back of the restaurant, looked at some tables, another person came up & asked if he could help us, again I said I was after a table for 2 & he said that there would be a further wait of 5 minutes whilst they re arrange tables so I said that we were off to be movies shortly & that we don't have much time so we left. Pretty bad service & it seemed like the the staff couldn't care less.

I enjoyed myself and the service was very good.
