Tried this place out of pure curiosity and walked away happy with a round belly. Tried the bao with pork belly and JFC chicken wings and though they were not the absolute best, they were pretty good. I topped that with a Monteith pale ale which was just delicious. Service was good and friendly but i think they need to improve specially when crowds strike (it gets really busy). Other reviews on this place are a bit harsh but everyone's experience appears to be different. I was very happy and will come back.

I have only been here once and tried only two dishes- the ramen and a chicken(or was it pork?) bun. The ramen (in my opinion) was huge- very tasty but I couldn't possible finish it- although I tried. But that chicken/pork bun was delicious. Best. Part. Of. The. Meal. So good- I'll get it every time. I did not like, on the other hand, the bubble tea. Don't take me the wrong way- I adore bubble tea- but this was very bland and watery and the bobo balls (or 'bubbles') were bitter and I tried very hard not to consume any of them. Overall very good experience, the atmosphere was really fun and I enjoyed the street art a lot (I love street art). Would recommend, for sure.

Finally convinced myself to try this place out. While the food was nice, the value was lacking in some dishes. The satay rice bowl was similar to the one at the food court, while the masaman curry and the pork belly bao were really nice. The pork belly/salad dish was tasty but small. It's hard to reconcile "Street food" with food that takes a long time to arrive and had such a high price.

I came here during peak hour on Saturday night. The meals came out quickly despite the queue to order. They have a good variety of dishes. We ordered the chicken katsu bao which was nice, but I felt like it was missing some sort of leafy green. My husband ordered the chicken satay rice bowl which he enjoyed. Will be coming here again to try other dishes!

This is a awesome bar/ restaurant it's something u will find in the main city's of Australia, its very noisy

The satay chicken was nice it was medium spicy on the menu but it's hot I love my spicy food, the dumplings where over cooked so very soft and soggy ,when they came out and the little white bowl was upside down, it threw me a little bit.

Over all it's a good restaurant. Look forward to trying something els next time

In Toowoomba – or TBar as it’s affectionately known – locals don’t seem to mind queuing. This is lucky considering the current popularity of the Walton Stores development, which brings together business, retail and dining, in a trendy precinct in the heart of the city.Entering from Ruthven Street, you can follow a mural that should feel familiar to any Sydneysiders, as it features the instantly recognizable work of prolific Sydney-based street artist Phibs. On this project, he worked alongside a top-notch crew that included Beastman, Numskull, Gimiks Born and Toowoomba’s own Twolaks.Their eye-catching work, featuring a cleverly reduced colour palate, now forms both the entranceway, and the backdrop, to a vibrant eating hub. With three outlets - Two Birds, Hello Harry and Junk Toowoomba - all facing onto a grassy courtyard with a large outdoor video screen, your only problem might be choosing between them. Encouragingly though, they’ve all taken a porous approach to seating; meaning as long as at least someone in your party is dining from the restaurant you’re sitting in, the rest of your party are free to order from wherever they like. We joined the queue for Junk Toowoomba, right behind the local constabulary, and marvelled at how good-natured everyone was as they waited patiently to order. This Toowoomba store is a second outlet for Chef Tony Kelly (ex-Stokehouse), who also operates a store a couple of hundred kilometres away in Maroochydore. They’re both trotting out an...
