Review Grill'd - Toowoomba

I have to admit I was dubious upon entry, but firstly they cooked my burger to the exact specifications I asked for, then the meal I thought was small, turned out to be (in my stomach) very large. Extremely tasty and they actually understand what a spicy flavour is... Congrats to the team. Very well done. Also, you need a knife and fork to eat the burger. Way to large to eat with your hands...

The food was tasty, although it was missing a key ingredient (no brie in a chicken and brie burger? 😢 ) I'd probably try again someday but it's not top of my list. The chips were nice though 😎

Solid burger take out. Doesn’t falter and no complaints. Not many places do good vegetarian options but grilld has a few options and they are all delicious

This was the 3rd Grill’d that I have been to and I have been left wanting and unsatisfied with the other locations. However the Toowoomba one was the complete opposite. Perfection is the best word to describe this visit. The service exceptional, The Food faultless. The gluten free bun was amazing, in fact if I didn’t double check I would have sworn that I was given a normal bread roll. The sauce was divine the meat cooked to perfection and the chips, OMG!! So if you are craving a burger that will have you smiling at the world and chips that will be on your mind for days do yourself a favour and check out this place!!

Got a takeaway burger there on the 11th March 2022. Never been there before, so wasn’t sure what to expect, however I won’t be back. After telling the guy on the register that I’ve never been before, I asked his recommendation and so I ordered some type of chicken burger. If they didn’t drop half the chicken on the floor and only gave me half, I’m not here. The portion I got didn’t even cover half the burger and was extremely thin. I got a serve of herb salted chips or something like that, and they were that dry and hard it wasn’t funny. I didn’t know you had to order sauce to go with them at the time, nor was that offered to me even though stating that I’d never been there before. In disgust I threw half the burger and 60% of the chips in the bin. The chips were that over cooked they were hard, I couldn’t eat them anyway. Absolute waist of $18.

Pretty woeful experience to be honest. Spend 50 bucks on food and get told we can't use the bathroom unless we surrender our phone or wallet to staff. Like sure, I'm going to hand over a phone worth 50 to 100x the value of a bathroom key "in case we steal the key". The quality of the food makes up for managements poor decisions, which we could not fault, so kudos where it's due.

One of my most favourite burger joints in general. The Toowoomba branch is centrally located in quite a big store with heaps of indoor and outdoor sittings, prompt service and delicious food. I honestly think the whole Grill'd chain is over priced a tad bit, however, I like that they allocate a part of their income involving charity and local contributions.
