Review The Vintage Cafe - Toowoomba

The food was exceptional. Service was lovely, and the coffee was decent. I had French toast with bacon, and my mum had bacon and eggs. The eggs and bacon were cooked exceptionally. We were very pleasantly surprised by this little cafe hidden in a riverside centre. Would 10/10 recommend. Thanks for putting heart into your food Vintage Cafe. ❤️

The Vintage Cafe has transformed the Toowoomba food scene! Their menu is based around fabulous gluten-free and/or dairy-free options that would please even the greatest gluten food lover. And better still - they offer delivery! This is a HUGE gap in the market in Toowoomba and speaking as someone with a chronic Illness who can’t drive - this is a God-send! They have steered away from the found-everywhere cafe meals, and instead offer a mouthwatering array of unique meals that can be tweaked to each customers dietary needs and personal palate. Their meals are divine, reasonably priced and service is friendly and efficient. They offer most milk alternatives with the exception of coconut milk (however hopefully when they read this they might add this as well! 😉😉)

Tried here for the first time. We had breakfast and although it was OK I doubt we'll be back. The coffee was reasonable, but the meals themselves were under whelming. I had the 3 egg omelette with ham cheese and tomato. The omelette was cook well but there was little filling and it was server with 2 small slices of toasted sourdough. My wife had Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The muffin wasn't toasted, but there was enough salmon and the eggs were soft poached but unfortunately it had shop bought hollandaise. The service was friendly and fast and the cafe itself quaint. There was ample parking out front.

A bit of a hidden gem, not what we expected for a cafe in a small shopping village. The service was perfect. Really nice guys. My black coffee was very good. The Eggs Benedict was good with a good balance. The steak sandwich is a highlight, would recommend it. The crispy bacon 🥓 was great. I would go back here again. You won't be disappointed.

Nice food, very good staff. The decor is a bit of a miss for me. I chose this place because the description and pictures made it feel like a fun interesting kookie Cafe but it was just stock standard with a display shelf.

Oh my god. I just had the steak sandwich "which i got on ubereats it was rainy and i was lazy" I thought that it would be like nearly everything else on ubereats ok at best. But i was wrong these guys shocked me the chips are homemade REAL potato it was like i dead and went to chip heaven the Steak Sandwhich kept simple with white normal bread i was shocked! Toasted to perfection i'm so sick of every steak sandwich else days being served with Turkish bread. The tomato relish and onion jam worked so well together cos lettuce was fresh and crispy really well done please keep up the good work!
