Review Papparich - Toowoomba

We received a fantastic share meal that was delivered to our table by a lovely, friendly waitress. All of this was a good price, the food was served to us quickly and was delicious. Can't wait to return and try other items off the menu. Thank you for a fantastic evening!!!!

Would like to preface this review by stating that it is in relation to the Toowoomba restaurant. Came here on a Thursday night and ordered the roti canai with curry chicken. This was one of the most ordinary meals I've ever received. Roti was stale and tasted as if it had been reheated after hours and the curry chicken was also poor quality and so dry that it was crunchy and inedible. I hate wasting food but I could not stomach this meal. I've enjoyed many meals at other PappaRich locations but I shall not be returning to this one.

Horriable chicken skin, superrrrrrr overrrrrt cooked!!! Cant believe it! Never come back again! Food is Very different from the menu!

Like they said "Good food takes time". Took awhile to get our food but it's worth the wait :) .

We had a very terrible experience and service. My friend ordered Chicken Rice and it was served with a very nasty side of soup. The soup was definitely out of date as it tasted sour and smells rotten. We tried to communicate with the front staff who had know idea what she was doing and would not offer us an exchange. We then tried again to make it clear with chef, but was rejected again. We also tried our best to communicate with the chef to actually have a taste of the soup, which he didn’t and also cut us off stating that his soup was fine to him. We strongly believe that the front of staff should need more training of better customer service ASAP.

The food seems pretty authentic. I found my meal tasty and delicious, with very tender chicken and superb sauces. The decor is rather uninspiring and the portions small which means it's not great value for money. There are some delicious looking drinks on the menu. It's pleasant, but not perfect Its certainly worth a visit for the authenticity of the cuisine .

The food was amazing! Had a wonderful lunch here with my family. The dishes were very tasty and the servings were huge. I salute the chef and the manager for being so accommodating. We will definitely be back!

I absolutely loved going to this place with my family to try traditional Malaysian food and specialities. I was so sad to hear that it has shut down in Grand Central, and I'm honestly very dissapointed now. The prices for the meals were very fair in terms of the overall portion, aroma and taste of the food. Hopefully it will come back one day, but I will definitely miss trying out their food and experiencing tastes of Malaysia.

Toowoomba has everything now! 20 years ago, there hardly any Asian restaurant, maybe one or two!<br/><br/>Impressed to see a Papparich in Toowoomba and the Grand Central shopping mall is huge too.<br/><br/>Being a franchise restaurant, we have some expectations on the food. Sadlly to say we are disappointed with the food. Service is 8/10, but it took a while for them to serve the food eventhough the restaurant wasnt busy at all.<br/><br/>We ordered:<br/># Roti Canai with sauce<br/># Curry Chicken Nasi Lemak - curry chicken was cold, not even warm, and the sambal doesnt taste like sambal, a very confused taste <br/># Wat Tan Hor - so bland<br/># Nasi Kunyit with fried chicken and sambal sotong - fried chicken is slightly burnt but was told that it it normal as ot was marinated that way, but honestly it taste bitter so we think it is burnt and not because of the spices! The sotong texture was so hard too! <br/><br/>We hope that you guys will improve, not sure when we will he back to Toowoomba but I truly hope you guys will stay! Very impressive to spot a Malaysian restaurant in Toowoomba. that is so cool!<br/>xx 🤍

Dinner was good sized portions and decent flavour so that was the saving grace from a 1 Star review. <br/><br/>I ordered takeaway chicken rice as well and to my disappointment it only came with 5 pieces of chicken compared to the Garden City and Coorparoo PappaRich which gives probably around 4 times larger portion sizes for the same price. <br/><br/>The chicken rice also included a nice sharp bone which would have been fantastic for kids (NOT). <br/><br/>I ordered my main meal at the same time as the takeaway chicken rice but still had to wait about 5min after finishing my meal and paying for it even though I specifically asked them to bring it out when it was ready. Maybe they were trying to hide the fact they give small portions and so I would have picked up on it if I had received it together with my meal?<br/><br/>Overall though it is nice to have PappaRich in Toowoomba but they need to step up their game in the chicken rice department and look into getting better staff trained so someone doesn’t accidentally swallow a sharp chicken bone for a meal that’s supposed to be filleted.

The service here is fantastic, and the food is delicious. We haven't had anything yet that we didn't like. The rewards program isn't really worth it, but that's across the franchise as a whole. Very happy to see for good Malaysian food in Toowoomba
