Review Ni Hao Chinese Restaurant - Toowoomba

My friend recommended this restaurant to me, saying its the best Chinese in town so we had to try it out! We had a small birthday dinner last night for my husband, and it definite live up to its reputation. We loved the food so much, everything was freshly cooked. Service was so friendly and all our dishes are brought out to our table. I am glad we chose Thursday to come because we didn't have to wait very long at all for all the dishes. We had a very beautiful table just next to the fish tank and my boy still couldn't stop talking about the fish

had the buffet $25.. and could order anything i liked freshly made.. very yum. great flavours. highly reccommend..

I was at the restaurant last night with my group my friends and everyone loved the food so much!!! Would definitely recommend having the buffet/all you can eat. This is our first time trying out this kind of buffet where the waitresses will take your order and the kitchen will cook it fresh for you! Honey chicken and fried rice is heavenly!! a must order for anyone who visits the restaurant!! The service was very friendly and because we came monday so food was really fast!! Will definitely be coming back with more of my family and 10/10 recommend to anyone!

Great value, especially the a la carte menu option. Each dish is more than enough for a table of four. Service was prompt, drinks were fast, from order to table was astonishingly quick, but it was a quiet night too. Restaurant is clean and tidy, but is showing it's age. Can't comment on how 'authentic the food is, bit it is exactly how I expect a Chinese restaurant to taste. Go there, eat and be merry!

Had dinner with my family a couple of weeks ago, it was absolutely delicious. All you can eat is great value at $25 with such a large selection of authentic Chinese food to choose from. Booking for table 5 is a must, the aquarium next to our table was so stunning! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Went there tonight for my mum's birthday! It was absolutely amazing! There was a group of us and had the $25 per person, all you can eat and it was Definately worth the money. Would recommend it as a group as it is cooked to order and you need to eat what you have ordered in order to get more, so don't know if id go with only myself and someone else. Which is fair enough so it doesn't waste food. Was so tasty and the staff were very friendly. I'll Definately be going back as a group again!

Very good Chinese food. The service is very friendly and orders are made in quick time. The food is tasty and well made. A nice touch is that they always add a little surprise entree at no extra cost.

Not sure if kitchen staff has changed but the takeaway we got last night was horrible. All of the sauces lacked flavour and were clearly watered down. Sweet and sour sauce was yellow when it's usually a bright red. Chicken was dry and veggies under cooked. Some weird looking mushrooms in one dish that I couldn't eat at all. We are so dissapointed as this has previously been our favourite Chinese in the toowoomba area.

I am a regular, and have been for a few years! On the whole, nice food and nice people...will always recommend!!

I chose this restaurant because we have been there numerous times before and the food was always great. But our experience for Mother’s Day was very poor to say the least. We ordered two mixed entrees and received only one. We then ordered our mains and received them one at a time and some of the dishes not at all. We repeatedly asked the waitresses where was our food. Numerous times we were sitting for 30min waiting for our dishes we ordered. The meals we had were so full of vegetables I had trouble finding any meat at all. The sauces were so watered down that they had no taste at all. Being Mother’s Day it wasn’t overly busy as the restaurant wasn’t full. Only half the menu was offered on the day. The same owner is there seems to me like he is trying to cut costs. Overall was very disappointing on such a special day.

Best its been since we first went years ago. Freshly cooked better than ever. Service great but just wish there was some noodle dishes back on the all you can eat menu. Very happy otherwise �

If I lived closer I would of returned this meal. By far the worst Chinese I've ever had! Veggies over cooked or under! Sweet & Sour pork & Honey chicken sickly sweet. Beef & Black bean lacked flavour! Pork in Plum sauce was disgusting!! Fried rice & Garlic chicken was nothing flash! Not worth $65 that's for sure! Enjoyed nothing about this meal!

My husband and I have been here many times! The food is always fresh and amazing! Staff are always well mannered and well presented! We didn't wait long at all for our meals! Highly recommended.

very nice thoroughly enjoyed dinner, love the way this restaurant is fresh banquet as apposed to the more traditional baymaree banquet. Lovely people only too happy to help with any reasonable request
