Such a great spot for dinner. Perfect flirt lighting if you're going for date 2 or 3 with a romantic soft feel. The food is amazing and Skewars out have got a 5/5 however there was some random wait times that ranged from 5 mins to 45mins across our orders. However a heart felt apology was delivered which shows great quality service. Overall 4/5, would definitely bang again.

Super yum and lots of fun. Good tap beers. Great vibe. Live tunes. Really nailed the food. Perfect for casual group catch ups. A hidden gem. Banquets are excellent value, but individual dishes are actually quite pricey for the small servings.

Our memories of this place were really positive, but our last visit was really disappointing. The atmosphere was dismal, the staff were just reasonable and the food was mediocre. The salad was just packaged lettuce, the dumplings didn't seem freshly made. Strangely, the cutlery was plastic. A restaurant with plastic cutlery. We won't be back.

Nice and cozy with great atmosphere. No alcohol when we arrived at 7pm even though their blackboard had a generous list of options was hard to find something to drink. There were two large functions that night and was frustrating for a lot of people that they didn't have any alcohol selections. Unsure of the arrangements between staff and our host but our guests were walking food around to everyone as staff just left large platters on tables. Food was good and filling.

This place is really hit and miss. The interior is really cool, and it's a nice place to eat. However the meals can sometimes be tasty and well portioned, but other times you get barely and food and it's not cooked well (spring rolls dripping with grease for example). I would come here more often if the experience was more consistent.

I had never heard of this place before some friends of mine took me and my wife there for tea one night. This a very nice place to sit and eat. The service is good, the food is well priced and is really really nice! I would highly recommend everyone to go and try this place out. Both my wife and I will definitely be going back again.

Don't let the slightly dodgy alleyway put you off - great dinner spot whether with a group of mates or a slightly awkward tinder date. Good value for small meals. Food is nice although if you want to leave full go for a meal or around $20-25 worth. House beer isn't bad value for starting off a weekend night out.

I have been to Skewers twice now and have enjoyed it thoroughly. The atmosphere is amazing, love the look. Live music on certain nights, staff always have a smile. I must admit I have always walked out feeling satisfied with my meal. So as I read the other reviews that have been left on this page, my question to some of you with a negative experience is this, have you actually approached the staff or owners of Skewers and let them know of your unfortunate experience? I believe that they would take every feedback seriously and would go out of their way to rectify the situation. How are people/owners/managers and staff to know without your feedback? To read it on a review and think, "oh wow, I never knew of this" this could have been resolved at the time and everyone's experience may have been different. Have you thought about how hard each of those people work every day to serve you fresh made food on a daily basis, how much passion goes into serving those beautiful made meals? I myself have never once had an issue with their meals. But for those of you who have had a negative experience, let others have their own. Yes your entitled to your own opinion, however Don't leave a negative experience, reflect others decisions on having their own experience. Well done to Skewers for you newly based business, and shown how much you have accomplished in so little time. Don't let the negativity of others bring you down.

menu reads great but..... food was okay, could be better.... pickles and salad lacking colour and substance and meat was dry.... Service was poor, slow and meal order went missing.... definitely has potential to be great! :)

Great food. Not sure what to expect but was surprised. Pleasant and casual atmosphere with funky beats. My only suggestions are to have some sort of small lighting where the door is. Bit scary if you're by yourself. And some small plates of some sort. I think I used a small log of napkins. Also if you have your menu or some sort of description of what sort of food eg finger food.etc.

I went to skewers on Friday night. I thought the atmosphere was great, the music sensational but the service average. The food was just okay, the wine was reasonably priced however it is served in throw away plastic glasses. Get real wine glasses for a start and work on your service... Great idea but poorly executed.

Great fresh food and so delicious. I highly recommend the food and the venue. Relaxed, friendly and I absolutely love the industrial look. Awesome music. Great work and just what Toowoomba needs

Very eclectic street food vibe. Staff welcoming and accomodating. Food was tasty and good value for money. Skewers however had very little meat on them. Could maybe suggest a dessert or two for the menu?

Uncooked chicken skewers. Chicken spring rolls had grease rolling down my arm. Salad was unedible as well, soggy. I will come try again, as it's a lovely little place and think will do really well, as long as the food quality is there. I hope I just caught you on a bad night. Are you looking at expanding your drinks selection to include wine?

Awesome food! Meat is always cooked to perfection! Friendly staff and great atmosphere ! The owner so needs to bottle up the sauces they make Soooooo yummy!

Epic new hangout space! Legit food and great interior design, chairs are sick and I love that you guys have coconuts maybe more chill music? But good vibes all round ✊

Just had skewer meal. Terrific aromas as I headed down the graffiti lane . Wonderful atmos, live music, authentic flavours and Bintang beer. Felt like I was somewhere in Asia. Cheers!

The decor looks great, looks very authentic. That's were it ended for me. The food lakes flavour and passion. There was very little taste and as for the peanut dressing on my gado salad ( iceberg lettuce with egg and tofu) was bland. This could be fantastic but it is not.

Nothing like it in Toowoomba that I know of. Genuine Asian street food cooked over hot coals. THE BEST skewers!! Having travelled a bit around Asia, it's so good to experience the real deal here in Toowoomba!
