Review Thai On Ruthven - Toowoomba

An excellent dining experience, my partner and I have both eaten at the restaurant and had our meals take-away, and both times the food was spectacular. The staff are friendly and accomidating and the service was fast and accurate. The meal sizes were excellent and we left thoroughly satisfied. I had the ginger duck and my partner had the yellow curry and we both had rice, the meat melted in our mouths and the rice was perfectly cooked.

Greenest Green curry I've seen, but oh so good! Fresh and delicious food, delivered fast. Yummy tender chicken sate and other entrees. We had food with Thai food novices who loved every bite. They'll be back - and so will we!

Ok it’s Mother’s Day and yes I know it’s going to be busy but when you order via phone and had to repeat my order 3 times I was told the order would be ready in 30mins but probably 40mins. I arrived at the show 35mins after I phoned and the shop is bedlam with people everywhere but it is to be expected, and finally get service and paid for the takeaway and was told it would be ready in 5mins what a joke 80mins after I phoned I finally get my meals. I have given 2 stars as the food was nice but not great but the service is deplorable and better understand of time management would be highly advised. I don’t know if I would go back again.

AVOID this place! Not only we waited 1hour and50 minutes to get some food ordered via Uber eats The pad Thai pasta were overcook and didn’t taste anywhere close this classic Thai dish should… the coconut prawns were raw … Waste of time and waist of money Do yourself a favour and do not go there !

The food was very authentic,good portions and speedy delivery. Will be my go to Thai restuarant from now on.

First and last time i will eat their food. Waited just under 2 hours for undercooked prawns and flavourless food. When i spoke with someone on the phone regarding the long wait she was not accommodating or apologetic.

First time dining at Thai on Ruthven on Friday evening and we were impressed. The service and food was wonderful, in fact my hubby said it was the best Thai meal he has ever eaten! Great to see staff adhering to COVID-safe practices in the restaurant.

Beautiful food. Great atmosphere and we'll priced. Licenced too.
